Great Job I have a 1992 conversion vandura 2500, star craft with 161000 real, legitimate miles and I don't want to let it go down, last year started repairing..❤️👍
Dude...you did that van sooooo right! I have had a Vandura (diesel) for over 20 years and now have started working the Florida rust...It will never be as nice as yours but I love her!
Well done fellas! I have a couple videos of my old 4x4 van on my other #MustangTown channel. Wish I never sold that thing😥 I will build another someday...
I say drop an LS in it, air springs, a few roll bar hoops, ultrawide tv, ps4 slim, diesel air heater, aux battery, inverter, and an independent 4x4 front end diff. Dope build so far though. I gotta get mine going soon.

The van looks awesome! I have a 1984 gmc vandura 2500 that I want to get to same height as yours. Any tips or info on parts to use? There is little correct info out there and I want to lift it correctly. Thanks
nsascn Thanks! Sure I can give you the parts list that I used. Do you have Facebook? May be easier to send you the parts list that way. Look fot Vantasy Car Products on facebook that’s my page, send me a PM and I will look up the parts I used for you. It’s pretty easy to do but you need the right parts or it won’t drive right
I did like a halfway rebuild in the parking lot of my apartment complex '92 Chevy G20 conversion it's about to become my daily driver I'm just getting her back on the road. Inspection coming up this week and air conditioning recharge. Someone really beat up that engine! How's this van these days?
Yeah no clue what they did to that engine. Luckily I had a spare engine and I ended up swapping the crank. The damage where the rod hit the bottom of the cylinder was only minor. Machine shop trimmed it a little and I ended up re-using the block itself. I sold the Van last year but it’s still with the new owner and still running strong as far as I know. Currently working on a new project. ‘97 K1500. Good luck on your G20 man they are great if you get them right
I have the stock shocks in the front, and Gabriel 58403 from Rockauto in the rear. Not too sure about the Gabriel shocks tho, they ride a bit sloppy. But you can look what height they are and get the same height from another manufacturer
Beautiful build!!! I have so many questions. I have a 1994 GMC Vandura that I want to lift. I would love some advice or anything that could help me. We overland in it right now and the stock lift is limiting us to our full potential. I would love some advice!! Thanks for sharing an awesome video!
Thank you! Sure I can help you out I have a parts list of everything I used for the lift. Look up my page on Facebook and send me a message: Vantasy Car Products. I will look up the parts list and send it to you on messenger, along with some tips and tricks. It’s easier communicating than here
Fantastic looks great lifted Did you do a video on fitting the lpg on it by any chance Bought a 1990 tiara van in February so in the middle of making it a camper Hence why I ask about lpg 😎👍 Cheers Neil .
Hi Neil, Unfortunately I did not make a video fitting the LPG. It also depends what kind of system you want to fit, injection or mixer system. Moest of these older engines use a mixer system which is very easy to install. Should be some videos on youtube. Good luck!
When you were in the process of rebuilding the van did you try to search for new lower control arms i searched the internet high and low to get new ones for my 93 g20 and none were to be found anywhere i noticed you repainted the old ones mine are currently at the sand blasting business getting sand blasted for repaint.
daviz1972 Yeah the lower arms are basically impossible to find new.. Even used they are getting increasingly rare. Also the vulkanised rubber bushing that runs through the lower arm always has play. I cut it out and replaced it for a solid shaft wayy better. Also replaced the rubbers that mounts the axle in the lower arm of course. Handles way better that way. Good luck!💪🏻
@@FearOrFreedom t of man, wordt zeer gewaardeerd!
Alex Lane I believe the spacers were 1.25 inches thick which gives 3” of lift. I made the blocks a little thicker than 3”, depends on the amound of weight you will be putting in the back to level it out. You could also add a leaf while on it, since most of the time the leaf springs are pretty worn. I don’t know about the G30 springs for sure, but that might work!
Awsome build! The ride height is perfect. What did you use to lift it? Just the blocks in the rear and spring spacers, if so what sizes? I'm going to lift my G20 and just getting different ideas.
Adam Bomb I used 3” blocks in the rear (made them myself) and 2.5” spring spacers on the front. You need to cut away the bump stops for 3/4 above the upper control arm or it will rider very very rough. Give it a few weeks to set, in the beginning it will ride pretty rough but it will get better in a few weeks. Imo it drastically improves the handling, it doesn’t ‘dip’ as much in the corners anymore. Installing the spacers can be a huge pain, i suggest you undo the lower ball joint, jack up the van as high as you can and then insert the spring with the spacer, put a jack under the lower control arm and jack it up until you can attack the lower ball joint. Good luck!
Thanks for all the advise! I got my van done, it looks and handles so much better now. Did you get longer shocks? I think I need some. Go check it out on Instagram, @adambomb

what was the total cost of the whole build, cuz i’m tryna to do a similar build to my 95 vandura. it is a 6.5 diesel
Around €8000 included purchase

So blocks an coil spacers how many inches?
