LaMelo Ball is a SUPERSTAR and Borrego refuses to give the key to LaMelo (and you can see that the player isn't happy with it), See, NBA is not just about winning, it is also about building a Franchise that SELLS to the people.
His style is similar to Spurs style which is all about the team, but in this day and age, player branding is very important to keep the sales running; he failed to acknowledge it which may result in LaMelo leaving CHA if not taken action.

Every NBA team played 10 more games this year than the previous season. Can't say the reason the Hornets won 10 more games was that they played 10 more games. If that was the case, one could also say they lost 10 more games because they played 10 more games. I believe the purpose of not starting Lamelo right away coming off the injury was to give him time to fully heal. LaMelo still averaged 32+ minutes per game on the season and played in 75 out of 82 games and made the All-Star team in just his second season. I think Borrego did a good job with LaMelo overall.
