  • PLEASE KEEP IN MIND that I only have about 25 minutes to do a painting that takes weeks to accomplish. Due to this reason, I might not finish a painting. I hope my videos help you get a better understanding of how this Artist painted. Thanks 😊

Thank you very much for your help! I am currently painting a Paul Cezanne style still-life of some apples on a wooden chair for an art assignment. Although the situation isn't ideal (I have to use acylic paint) this tutorial helped me greatly. Thanks again.

It's absolutely breathtaking. I love how you applied the colors for the background and the entire basecoating of the painting. Your videos are excellent with close viewing to see your strokes and pointing out how Cezanne painted wirh the straight marks and they do look a little outlined. He is one of my favorites. I always wonder, what made him paint like that. It's all fascinating to me.
    Thank you so much.

Thank you! This is so helpful. I have just started having art lessons with a private tutor and I'm drawn to the impressionist stye. He has beeen showing me examples of Cezanne to help me. Watching you paint has really helped me understand the brush strokes which I had been struggling with. I really like hte technique of tinting the cnavs first, I'm going to try that, espeicaly as I now paint in and prefer oils but still have lots of acrylic paint that needs using ;-) Also as well as being helpful and educational it was very relaxing and calming to watch during a tumultous time in Europe currently.

Thank you. Excellent tutorial video. The only downside: the noise (music?). I would have liked to focus entirely on teaching. It's hard now. I watch without sound.

Again thanks for the wonderful video on cezanne. I would appreciate it if you would give me the name brand of the brushes you used. Were they all bristle and or some sable. Nobody really knows I think exactly what brushes he used perhaps mongoose,
I am highly influenced by Cezanne. I do want to learn from his paintings and then go on. After seeing your video perhaps I do not have the right brushes.
Would so appreciate your information Thanks again

Hello Susie, thank you so much for your question. I used three different brushes for this painting.
#2, #4, and a detail (signature brush). Bristle brushes. I like using Princeton or sometimes Winsor and Newton.
      Sincerely
      Mosig
