Wat een mooi en interessant filmpje. Ik heb er met veel plezier naar gekeken en het heeft mijn blik verscherpt om naar stillevens te kijken.
His paintings are so full of harmony. Not too exact ,not too messy, nice colours, some color contrast here and there. It's a pleasure to look at his paintings.
Excellent. Thank you so much for creating and posting this. Your explanations are very clear and the arrows indicating what you are describing were very helpful.
+SusanMJB45 nice comment, thanks
Very informative and helpful, your explanations are clear and greatly assisted by the visual clues throughout the video. I have found this immensely useful for my forthcoming essay on "Still Life with Plastercast" - Thank You
Thanks very much.
Highly informative and interesting.
Go on posting please .
thanks (not a littlebit too scholastic?) 😉
So cool👌🏽
The music is hilarious! When it appears the first time re the Rembrandt portrait, it's as if the orchestra had missed the first bus, and now finally shows up, blasts away!
well, you evidently dislike a little pathos in music scores....
Yes.
Fantastic video of a unique artist.
Many thanks!
hi to you too!first thank you for relating to my question! yes,i do have a suggestion for this"uncontrol", but i'll need a day or two to arrange my reply, than i'll send it to you.meanwhile all the best judy.
hi judith, do you have any suggestions for this "uncontrol"? Further I must say that I adore Dutch still life painting (did you ever see them in real?). Yeah, I love classical music but also rocknroll.
and you thanks for your kind comment
Still life of applessss..we always appreciate n captivating .staring them at in loving ways of Artists..they re very closed to our lives as essential characters..sometime we used to move for compose pots n apples or flower vase near the narrow long window on shower of rainy day..it's exciting..inspiration of Paul Cezzane..thanks alot for presentation kindly ......
Can anyone recommend me some lectures on any series or individual famous artworks? I am uninterested in technique but very interested in history, thought behind the painting etc etc.
Just spent 25 minutes watching this video + others about talking about Cezannesand I fail to see the genious in that. But I am sure it is there but it has to be something way beyond "the tilting of the objects.... this one has 4 apples..... mixed viewing angles... distorted reality".
Interesting. Thank you.
thank for your explanation but i wonder about tilting of objects and that the two side of the table do not meet at the right place' perhaps it was uncontrol from a reason of other difficulty? i admire Paul Sezzan because his paintings and the wealth of his colours or the choice of his colours make me fill so much in the right place. To compare to those who painted just like a camera ,and it is boredom.
The plural of still life is...”Still Lifes “. Not still lives.
We are pluralizing the term “still life” not the word ‘life”.
Dear Renzo , do you have a reading disability or so?
@@betapicts
No, I do not have a reading disability.
I am an English teacher.
Thank you for asking.
@@renzo6490 but where do I use "still lives"? In any case not in the title.
I hear 'still lives' often on other videos.
I see now that you do write, "Still Lifes" in the title.
Most likely, I heard you incorrectly....
Apologies.
thank you
okay!
Cezanne's landscape paintings and obsessive life inspired me to film a short biography.
FANTASTIC i want an apple.
an apple a day keeps the doctor away :-)
