Many people don't realize she and Bill "Bojangles" Robinson shared the first interracial dance on the silver screen. They were so adorable together. Notice that in almost ALL her movies as a child, they always have a story about a single man, millionaire, grandpa, etc., WHO wants to adopt her. Look it all up and it is sad the way they exploited her! In those days, a bachelor would be unable to adopt a girl with no wife. Google it about how they exploited her for pervert pedophiles! They touch her a bit too much on her butt and her panties always exposed under too short dresses. I am glad she was gracious and was able to move on in life.

She was so cute as a child and just lovely as an adult… highly intelligent and just so likable through her life❤❤❤
My very favorite, I so clearly remember watching her movies on Sunday afternoons with my Dad, eating chocolate ice cream. Happy times.
A class act . Always a doll with a big heart
No terrible stories or rumors. Great girl.
Amen
Ignorance is bliss.
Beautiful, Classy and above all Patriotic🇺🇸
RIP Shirly Temple🪦🙏
I can only imagine what Hollywood did when she was young.
I'm so thankful it didn't break her, but she instead, broke from them! Good on you!
Her parents didn't put up with that cr*p. She was also protected by actors who felt like father figures to her. But in her teens she met John Agar. Bad choice, but teens aren't always known as great decision makers.
One of the few Hollywood Actors that we could look to as an example of courage and dignity.
I ALWAYS LOVED 🥰 SHIRLEY TIMPLE♥️♥️♥️ ! I EVEN HAVE A S.T. DOLL, IT’S A BIG DOLL WITH A SuIT CASE. I BOUGHT IT IN THE ANTIQUE MALL ON BRICE ROAD 😊!!!
Grown men kissed her on her lips in several pictures when she couldn’t have been older than 7 or 8! She was wise to leave Hollywood!
I wish she'd have written some kind of story exposing this side of hollywood and how it preys on young people, women especially.
Maybe just maybe she didnt have anything she thought was worth exposing
I remember how she said one of the Directors called her in his office and he pulled out his penis. She said she laughed because didn’t know how else to respond, but she also knew enough to react in a way that she could use to prevent her from being asked to touch it . The Director was so angry that she laughed at his penis and he yelled for her to get out!! She says looking back, that laughing performance might have prevented her from being raped.
Maybe but highly unlikely. A lot of people forget, not everyone wants the world to know their trauma
They took advantage
I’d never seen pictures of Shirely Temle as a young woman or full grown adult before! Wow. I’m glad to know what kind of life she led when she left film behind
God Bless her. One of the best from a long gone era of Patriotic Hollywood.
Excellent &.Outstanding for her, I believe also that Her life went the way it was supposed to have happen. I am very happy for Her.
The best part of my childhood was Shirley Temple movies.

She also saved her daughter from Haight, Asbury area , hooked on heroin two times, she absolutely did what a diamond 💎 mom would do for their girl or boy, RIP to both ❤✌️🙏☝️💪 of them❤️😔🖖😊
America can sure use more women and men with hearts like hers. What an Amazing person.
My Love to You Shirley Temple .,to this day you bring me joy, your talent was surreal Blessings to you always 🌹🌹🌹
Bless her memory. 🎉
I loved watching Shirley Temple movies as a kid. On Saturdays, they'd play a marathon of movies, and I'd watch them all day.
I enjoyed those marathons when I was a little girl, as well. Turner Classic Movies and AMC were fantastic as a Shirley Temple fan years ago. 🖤
Born & raised in Australia, one of my favourite times watching TV was when a Shirley Temple Movie Marathon was scheduled to play during the then still limited programming times!
Such a Talented Star at an early age !!! RIP Beautiful Shirley . God Bless your Beautiful Soul . Amen 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
She was gorgeous
She murdered a whole family
My Daddy got the opportunity to see Shirley Temple for a performance on stage during WW2.

She was born beautiful and died beautiful. God bless Shirley temple.
She was under appreciated for her great genius and talent. She was a lady we admire.
My grandmother worked with Shirley Temple in D.C. and at the UN in NY in the 70s. Both were smokers and took long lunches with each other and other D.C. politicians. There was quite a bit my grandmother shared about Temple and her personal life. They were both good friends until my grandmother passed away in the mid 90s.
I loved Shirley Temple! Still do!! As talented as they come! Then served our country! What an amazing little lady! ❤
Great child, so confident, cheeky and funny, as a woman she represented her country with fantastic grace and dignity. Good looking woman too. Tks for the great movies Shirley, rip
I watched her movies growing up, I just adored her, I’m 61 but my sister and I just loved her, on the good ship lollipop it a sweet trip to a candy shop. Rest well lovely lady 🕊️
I'm 70 now. I loved All her movies. I don't have cable, but I have 2 DVDs !! & It's a two - dvds in each set.
I had super blond straight hair as a child. Sometimes my Mother would curl my hair like hers !!! But my friends used to call me Goldielocks !!
@@elizabethbowie9753 I had super straight strawberry blonde hair, but the movie’s are blk and white so color doesn’t matter, I just adored the movies and didn’t know they were reruns until later. The good ole days. 🥰
What a wonderful actor & woman. She did so much for our country with pride & dignity! Thank you Mrs. Shirley Temple Black for your service to our country! 🇺🇸 I LOVED ALL OF YOUR MOVIES ESPECIALLY THE ONES WITH BILL "BOJANGLES" ROBINSON". Those were the GREATEST you both had such wonderful chemistry together ❤️ you both! 🇺🇸
🙏🕯️🌹💐🕊️💐💫
🙏🕯️🌹💐🕊️💐💫
Wow I never saw her older. I grew up watching Shirley temple and loved her films. This was a great little clip to see. Not surprised she became such an impressive woman, she was extremely intelligent at such a young age.
I always wondered about her after she told the story of adult men tryna SA her. So many people afraid to speak out about the abuse. So glad she had a blessed life.
Talented, beautiful, intelligent and kind. 🙏🕊️💐
We need more stars like this is Hollywood.
So sad, bless her and her family 🙏🏻
She will always be remembered and loved. Shirley Temple is a legend, an American folk hero❣️
Shirley Temple is so beautiful and adorable ❤
I was a Marine Security Guard at American Embassies. I would have loved for her to be my Ambassador..
My cousin dated her daughter. They lived in Woodside area in CA
Did she look lik her mother?
Woodside is a gorgeous area!
Wow! Very Interesting! You hear so many child actors have tragic short lives. She lived a long life and did what she believed in 👍 Thanks for Sharing
Such a beautiful heart Mrs. Shirley Temple was. A real humanitarian. Not all hero’s wear capes, and not all Angels show their wings 🪽
