But all that changed quickly after I realized he incorporated Nas Academy in Singapore(I am from Singapore) and started offering content creation courses. I instantly knew he was just scheming his way through the social media mud carrying the facade of Mr Positive. Total crap if you asked me.

As a guy who had a narcissist aunt, i know what narcissism is and how bad narcissism is. I actually only know him when I saw his sponsored video in University of the People and the moment that I saw him, I immediately felt off about him like sooner or later he will do something bad idk there's something about him that I sensed is not genuine but I just shrugged off that feeling 'cause I don't know the guy and maybe I'm just being judgemental. And several months later I decided to check on my Facebook and my newsfeed is flooded with the news that Nas Daily allegedly scammed Apo Whang-Od and such. And seeing that, I'm not surprised that he did it, I'm more surprised that I was right about him having this bad vibes. But idk I don't really follow this guy so I might be wrong and idk the full story of things. I just wanted to share, and I guess moral of the story is when you suddenly felt off about someone you might want to consider listening to that 'cause it might actually save your life against these people or situations. I'm not saying to avoid someone completely just 'cause you sensed bad vibes 'cause gut feelings, although accurate most of the time, might be inaccurate sometimes, I'm just saying that whenever you feel it, you should be cautious.

Us, Malaysians (and might I even go as far as to include the rest of Southeast Asians), have always been taught to view Caucasian people as the superior race - whether it's their beauty, intelligence, or other aspects. It's such a toxic mindset but it's so engraved into us that I honestly can't see changes happening anytime soon. Thanks for the video. When Nas Daily came to Vietnam, he was not well received because they thought the content he made in Vietnam was too fake and exaggerated. Many of us Vietnamese are looking forward to the videos foreigners make about Vietnam. and would love to support it. (Of course not as much as other countries in Southeast Asia, because our English is generally quite bad). and many people do not support his political views, and consider him too biased. Therefore, the majority of people do not support his content.

I personally know this person who is a vlogger from the Philippines (I won't disclose the person's name), one of the people who looked up was Nas. He even appeared in one of Nas' videos and even helped him with his videos. Nas was one of his heroes, but the saying says "never meet your heroes" as he shared how he was disappointed with Nas and his attitude that he was the opposite person as he was in his videos. He experienced so much with his time with Nas' that he didn't disclose as he was afraid that Nas would come for him and he was making a career as a content creator, but for him it was an eyw opening experience for a fan like him. Because of it he was no longer a fan.

Never have I ever had such disappointment after knowing the truth of someone. Nas to me was a brilliant dude. For atleast 2 years by his videos I learnt a lot of things and greatly inspired me to dream going around the world but watching this seems like someone stabbed me right in the head.
My mom gave me that same advice today, I told her that there were tons of “useful and positive” videos that helped me out! Then she said, this is just the beginning, they give advice and then they become negative and they’re doing it for money!

I always take videos like Nas Daily with a grain of salt. The surface level might seem positive, but there's this underlying feeling of profiting off of other cultures for their own gain that I get. Glad I wasn't wrong in my feeling about Nas Daily.
I've noticed that he lacks research on some (if not all) of his contents. He has never own up to misinformation and lack of research. Just like with Apo Whang-Od. He has never admitted having lack of understanding and information regarding certain laws when he decided to add the art of tattooing to his academy. Instead, he asked Filipinos to what? Get angry for him because someone has done him wrong? He is indeed become combative. Maybe his way so people would believe him even though his information is wrong.

I used to watch his videos on Facebook but I always had this gut feeling that somethings not quite right, like everything's just a facade, etc. So, I stopped watching him altogether and I genuinely thought I'm one of the few who thought his constant positivity was... nauseous. I'm a 35 Year old Filipino American whose originally born in America but goes to Philippines to live there permanently when I'm still very young but after that my parents died after just a few years of living here, that's why my Filipino Grandparents took me and gave me the love I need and I've met some Filipino friends who is very emphatic.... (we became best friends and live together for work purposes for over a decade or so now..... yet our bond is still strong and we rarely fight and even if we did we will immediately get over it and forgive each other very fast) and I don't know what to say about this..... Nobody wants to hear how he fell in love with the Philippines, how he helped the Philippines or how he intended to create jobs for Filipinos. It's an insult to everyone that he wasted people's time by doing this instead of addressing the issue head-on. 2) He accuses Louise of being exploitative towards the workers without having anything to back up his claims. Unlike him, Louise has multiple other people backing up her story. I see no reason why any of them would lie since they're fully aware that doing so would get them in serious legal trouble. The only reason why he was threatening legal action is to intimidate and silence those who called out his scummy behavior. 3) Even after everything that had happened, he still has the gall to act all smug and condescending. Why wouldn't he? He wasted everybody's time by saying very little of the issue at hand, and had the nerve to lecture people about fake news. He laughed off the entire controversy he has, thinking it was some sort of joke to him. Don't let his aura of "confidence" distract you from the fact that he's the one that should be scrutinized, not the other way around. And since he brings forth no compelling arguments to refute the ones made by Louise, he doesn't deserve any benefit of the doubt. Time for my turn They hosted a hackthon on 4th April 2021, I was among those ~80 candidates. The hackathon was to select a software engineer for Nas Academy. I also was in the winner's list of the hackathon. It was a solo competition, I was on 8th position Nas and their team took my interview, Didnt even saw our CV, Nor even provided any certificate for their hackathon. During the interview Nas was asking candidates that what ideas they have to improve their community. I suspected that they are just collecting ideas. Later among those 10 winners. He selected only one, and to the rest of the winners they provided nothing. Just given subscription of their courses on nas academy. I felt like this was unfair because if they want to select 1st winner then why did they bothered to take interview of remaining 9 candidates and interview them in first place. I felt like being scammed but now I cant do anything.

Us, Malaysians (and might I even go as far as to include the rest of Southeast Asians), have always been taught to view Caucasian people as the superior race - whether it's their beauty, intelligence, or other aspects. He even appeared in one of Nas' videos and even helped him with his videos. Nas was one of his heroes, but the saying says "never meet your heroes" as he shared how he was disappointed with Nas and his attitude that he was the opposite person as he was in his videos. He experienced so much with his time with Nas' that he didn't disclose as he was afraid that Nas would come for him and he was making a career as a content creator, but for him it was an eyw opening experience for a fan like him. I used to watch his videos on Facebook but I always had this gut feeling that somethings not quite right, like everything's just a facade, etc. So, I stopped watching him altogether and I genuinely thought I'm one of the few who thought his constant positivity was... nauseous. I'm a 35 Year old Filipino American whose originally born in America but goes to Philippines to live there permanently when I'm still very young but after that my parents died after just a few years of living here, that's why my Filipino Grandparents took me and gave me the love I need and I've met some Filipino friends who is very emphatic.... (we became best friends and live together for work purposes for over a decade or so now..... yet our bond is still strong and we rarely fight and even if we did we will immediately get over it and forgive each other very fast) and I don't know what to say about this..... Not a fan of this guy but I've watched some of his videos and quite inspired me...
Filipinos might be "poor" but when it comes to their personality they are very Rich... Their hearts are very Rich... they are very nice and always smiles despite in severe pain or struggling with life.. even with problems their smiles will never fade

Nobody wants to hear how he fell in love with the Philippines, how he helped the Philippines or how he intended to create jobs for Filipinos. The people wanted to hear his response to the allegations and nothing more. It's an insult to everyone that he wasted people's time by doing this instead of addressing the issue head-on.
2) He accuses Louise of being exploitative towards the workers without having anything to back up his claims. Unlike him, Louise has multiple other people backing up her story. I see no reason why any of them would lie since they're fully aware that doing so would get them in serious legal trouble. The only reason why he was threatening legal action is to intimidate and silence those who called out his scummy behavior.
3) Even after everything that had happened, he still has the gall to act all smug and condescending. Why wouldn't he? He wasted everybody's time by saying very little of the issue at hand, and had the nerve to lecture people about fake news. He laughed off the entire controversy he has, thinking it was some sort of joke to him. Don't let his aura of "confidence" distract you from the fact that he's the one that should be scrutinized, not the other way around. And since he brings forth no compelling arguments to refute the ones made by Louise, he doesn't deserve any benefit of the doubt.
Throughout this entire controversy, he has demonstrated himself to be a snake, a liar, and a manipulator. The fact that he has fans like you defending him despite all of that is so depressing. For instance, the way he portrayed that incident where that ungrateful syrian refugee who refused to leave KLCC, & wasn't even thankful about the hospitality & meals the airport has been providing, extremely one-sided & mendacious. Sometimes, it just feels like, the reason he situated his base of operation in Singapore was just to get close to Malaysia someday. He's just pathetic.

I was among those ~80 candidates. The hackathon was to select a software engineer for Nas Academy. I also was in the winner's list of the hackathon. It was a solo competition, I was on 8th position
Nas and their team took my interview, Didnt even saw our CV, Nor even provided any certificate for their hackathon. During the interview Nas was asking candidates that what ideas they have to improve their community. I suspected that they are just collecting ideas.
Later among those 10 winners. He selected only one, and to the rest of the winners they provided nothing. Just given subscription of their courses on nas academy. I felt like this was unfair because if they want to select 1st winner then why did they bothered to take interview of remaining 9 candidates and interview them in first place. I felt like being scammed but now I cant do anything.
