- After being caught in 4k back in April 2021, EDP445's situation has only gone from bad to worse. He's been evicted from his apartment complex, is apparently almost broke, and various sources state over the last month, he's been arrested and is potentially in jail. Things have gotten so bad, that EDP has even attempted to change his name legally. However, such is the price you pay in a world where you unavoidably reap what you sow.

@@yisroelbinstokif your love interest is around the same age than you, then you can be in some sort of relationship with them. Although that doesn’t mean you can have intercourse with them, because it’s illegal and just so wrong unless both of you are above the age of 18 and both of you consented.
The issue is, he denied it the first time, made up stories saying it was an act, doubled down on his lies and then tries to meet another girl AGAIN. The only redemption would have been to turn himself in and do jail time. But he just doesn’t do that. In some way, he dug his own grave and did it to himself. Forgiveness is given to those who know what they’ve done and seek to do better.
Why does everyone want to forgive him so desperately anyway? HE willingly did something unforgivable multiple times and showed no remorse or sign of change, or interest in doing so. This isn't someone for people to defend. Celebrity worship is terrifying.

The sad thing about all this is that there's a lot more creators, celebrities and powerful people who do the same thing as EDP did, even worse at times, but they have enough charisma to get tons of people behind them where EDP is basically universally hated now. Which he deserves of course, but it's sad to see other people like him who are a bit more succesful get a pass.

I think the main issue is that he clearly has no remorse. He isn't sorry for his actions, he's sorry that he got caught. If he ever truly wanted to change he would've dipped from the internet and gotten help instead of making blatant lies and excuses.

I'm genuinely concerned for EDP's health, the lengths these random people are going through to fuck with him is scary. Someone is going to either beat the crap out of him, or murder him and they're going to think they're correct in doing so, that's what's fucked up.
But it wasn’t "just one mistake" that wiped out all of his achievements though. It was *_eight prior incidents of attempting to sexually abuse an underage child!_* That’s hardly a "mistake", that’s a concerted pattern of deliberate criminal behaviour. What's so bizarre to me about this entire situation is the fact that EDP was cancelled (rightfully so might I add) & disciplined accordingly by all social platforms but James Charles still gets to post freely?
Granted EDP was in the process of going to physically see who he believes was a 13 year old child... But at what point do we consider ones actions worthy of "cancellation"?
EDP himself had a pattern of this behavior & never appeared to be remorseful until everything eventually caught up with him; however, can we not say the same about James Charles? Or is this a matter of one having a good legal team while the other doesn't have one?
Is it our perception of predators targeting little girls vs little boys? Perhaps it's about who's generated more dollars for UA-cam or who's considered more of a physical threat?
It's just very odd to me that one (rightly) gets the treatment you'd expect for this kind of behavior & the other can just move on & sweep it under the rug all while still being caught up in new controversy.

I feel incredibly conflicted here. I am all for redemption, people moving on, trying to better themselves etc. This constant harassments is incredibly disturbing and the fact people go to such lengths is terrifying. However on the other hand I think what if it wasn't a decoy team? Part of me feels bad whilst the other is filled with hatred and disgust.

He could’ve, he got away with it for a short time, even after the catch, he could’ve admitted to his wrong doing but instead he was insanely egotistical to the point in which he was resilient in denying all the accusations (which have all been proven true) he never seemed remorseful, he never seemed apologetic.
Again, he was given several chances to redeem himself and apologize and his dumb teenage audience would’ve more than likely found a way to forgive him: but instead he attempted to make a website and made a Facebook post calling out the specific people who exposed him (Coldraven, Master At Work, CC and Chet Goldstein) because he knew they had all the proof.
He also seems way too addicted to social media, even attempting to create multiple socials and even a Bigo Live account in which he was caught interacting with kids, again. The fact that you guys claim (he was never given a chance) is dumb simply for the fact that he was but instead panicked and tried to deny everything.

What UA-cam ended up doing was temporarily stopping money going to her main account for a bit (Dunno if it's back yet), but, this didn't matter, since she just used her second channel and started transferring all of the video's there. So, not only did she get someone's address by hacking, she also stalked him, put his address online, then when she was punished, avoided the ban by using a second channel, and UA-cam has done absolutely nothing about it.

The idea that because someone did something "unforgivable" gives everyone the right to make sure he loses everything permanently, jobs, money, shelter, etc. is such a terrible thing. Letting him hold a job and have a place to live and have him go about his life after what would probably be years of therapy and/or jailtime, I think is the best route.
