Thanks for making this video. I have a 2002 MB CLK55 AMG that I bought and restored to pristine condition because I really admired this car when I was in my mid 20s.
Amazing job!!! Check out my channel and playlists. I save and restore lots of old school German cars. Gotta put love to these cars. They used to make great stuff back then. Todays cars are just disposable
I just spent $11.000 on one JUST fixing it! STill has rear main seal leak. AND needs paint.
BUT
AND i mean this
the idea of cooper ( my W208 ) in the junk yard brakes my heart. SO am saving him from the grave.
Going to make my W208 a new life. no mods other then the CD player it came with and a nice exhaust ( while keeping stock parts ) ( but later on )
he was the worst merc i got. in terms of the way it was treated BUT.
NEVER letting my W208 die. NEVER

Hey my car needs the same things and I have the same plans I have a 00 clk430 convertible with a couple mods so far I'm 5.6k in but have another 6-7k in stuff I'm gone put on it . I got it at 100k it's at 160k now but I just got another daily so the clk miles can stay low .

I have this exact car and color and I was torn at first, because the CLK 430 looks so much more sporty. But after having it now for awhile, I'm excited because with a few add ons, this can look just a sporty as the 430 and better reliability!
This car and the 4 door w208 and the w140
The v8 m113 is more reliable than the v6 m112. The v8 gets better gas mileage than the v6 as well surprisingly

Nice one! I drove a triple black convertible for a while with 60k miles that I was going to buy but we could never meet on price. Needed paint and a bumper repair. Great cars!

Have a clk 320 06 and a clk 320 04 89,000kms. Great cars keep on top of maintenance lots of electrical problems if there left sitting.
Maybe polish the lights? It looks oxidised
Just picked up a 2002 A208 Cabriolet 430.with 110K. Steers like a twin engine Power Boat.
That's one of my dream benz 😍

@@Bruinou19 320 is a great model and engine. M112 V6 is a phenomenal engine made by Mercedes! They used this engine in other chassis too such as W210, W202, W211, W163 and others! Totally recommend!!!

Still trying to figure out the difference between the CLK 55 AMG and W208 and C208
C is referred to coupes. W to sedans. But I guess people are used to calling these W208

No car is like MERCEDES i have this car and i make maybe 1000 km per year.I use it only if i want to go for coffe etc i will never sell this car i like to wach it in the garage.
