Hey if my cream cheese batter sinks into the matcha batter, what am I doing wrong? Could I have not mixed it properly?
Hi! Could it be that your batter was too warm already, that's why they didnt hold its shape?
I had the same issue too, end up having marbled matcha & vanilla cheesecake
my batter turns out so runny. so the matcha and original batter cant be separated. any idea why?
It could be that your cream cheese was too soft when you used it? Or the kind of heavy cream you used?
Hi! I’m a little curious tho, have you ever tried it with different flavors aside from matcha and the original cheesecake? I would love to make it with a strawberry bottom part of the cheesecake. Thanks! ☺️
Hi, not yet! I've seen other flavours like chocolate and earl grey, would love to try baking it some day. Strawberry sounds great too!
@@Sumopocky I hope you make one soon!
is it better to sift it while pouring the batter at the final step?
You can if you wish 😊 Edit: Please still sift the flour in first, and sift a second time with batter if you wish.
Hi what can I substitute with heavy cream? I am looking to baked this
Hi, you will need heavy cream for this recipe
May I know what’s the brand of your mixer? It looks small yet sturdy!
Hi! It's Philips
may I know 1.5 eggs same with large size egg or 1egg+ half egg
I used medium sized eggs
Hi. If I use airfryer, what temperature should I bake and for how long?
Hi sorry I'm not familiar with using the airfryer for this cake
Sumopocky it’s okay.
Hi can I check if the oven is with fan or without fan settings?
Hi! It is without the fan setting
Hi, thanks for sharing the recipe! I just tried it and somehow my cheesecake wont get burnt. I wonder why 🤔
Hi! May I know which rack you baked it? Maybe try the middle rack next time, with top and bottom heat setting of the oven.
My batter doesn't look so thick like yours. Kinda watery. How do you beat until that states?
Hi! Could it be the brand of heavy cream you are using? I'm using Bettercreme for this
@@Sumopocky I see. I'm using Emborg Whipping Cream.
@@waynelim4541 maybe you can try whipping to 30% stiffness before mixing with the other ingredients next time.
@@Sumopocky I will definitely try that next time.
@@Sumopocky do you beat the batter in medium speed?
Would it work for a shallower 7inch pan?
Yes it would work but reduce cooking time a bit
Hi, for heavy cream can I substitute it with either whipping cream or thickened cream?
Hi yes you can substitute with whipping cream
I done it the taste is good, but when I pour the original batter in, the matcha mix it together 😂
Mine too 😫
Try beating the batter with the heavy cream till it almost has soft peaks, that will prevent from mixing together
Hi! Any idea why the sides doesnt seem very cooked :-(
Hi! What setting on your oven did you use?
Sumopocky i used top & bottom! Should i have opted for top&bottom + fan?
Do we need to put water in the tray while baking?
No you don't need to
30 MIN from oven seem like the batter still not bake.is that the temperature of the oven?
It is meant to still be jiggly when you remove it
What’s the size of your pan ?
Hi, it is 6 inches
Sumopocky thank you !
🤔 I think heavy cream need to be half of the portion. It’s too loose. Two better didn’t separate.
Agree. I followed the same recipe and the cake turns out to be runny after baking for 1 hour+. The cake looks great in the video but I think something wrong with the written recipe.
Was it still runny even after chilling in the fridge overnight? Sorry it didn't work out for you! I double checked and those are the portions I used.
Can heavy cream replaced by milk ?
No
No it cannot be replaced with milk as the fat content is not high enough
