We had a couple of ex British Rail articulated trailers when I was on the Farm. To reverse them safely into the barn we attached them to the front of the Tractors - much easier.
Good stuff joe, congrats on end of harvest 👏, and as I said yesterday about the blower pipe on the combine I asked the contractor and he did say that it’s soul purpose was just to keep the dust of the windscreen, the pleasures of modern kit!
Great video joe if that straw looks ok that’s been on fire mower it off abit lower and bale it up! Or get the little sh*ts to come back and burn it off again 😂😂😂 hopefully c u at tractor pulling on sat night
That burnt stubble will plough under, its no longer than Maize stubble, just need to set skimmers turned into mould board a little. Dont let Ben stack bales tommorow while you are away.
I love those trailers like big bertha. In my opinion they are more manouverable trough small gateways and tight yards. I have no problems backing those trailers. We use shorter ones than you. Shorter is a bit harder as they react quicker. Also drove an HGV combination with a dolly trailer.
@joe seels why do you always strap your bales with the ratchet strap on the o/s. would it not be safer to have the ratchet on the n/s just in case anything happened on the road you would not be stood in the middle off the road sorting the strap out, hope you have some good fun at the tractor pull with Olie aNd no doubt mr tom Pemberton.
Run the topper over that wheat field Joe
Re the grass still growing, In Texas, late winter/spring time, when the conditions are correct, they burn the grass, to make it grow better
Set fire to it again Ha 🔥 Ha.

The burnt field. Perhaps silage mow then bale it 🤔
