Been there before with a cattle trailer, way heavier than you can imagine on wet ground. The driver of the tractor that went on fire had his wits about him, diesel and hot hydraulic oil is nearly impossible to put out when it goes. You where right to turn back with the tractor.
Flooding is heart breaking for everyone but it brings huge hazdship to farmers trying to feed cattle, lost crops, loss of grazing and fodder.
Everyone is safe and well with time everything else can be repaired

Cattle are safe, nobody's hurt, those are the main things, we used to haul most of the slurry out from dairy cows every day, used to make for some interesting ploughing come spring, saw an old boy I worked with many years ago, drive a county threw a river and water came up over bonnet, not so many electronics in those days though, chin up jo, things will get better

With how common flooding has become over the last 10 to 15 years you would think the epa would try and start dredging the rivers and ditches again. Since water companies were privatised and the epa took over flooding seems to be worse

@@MayorofDipshittery-lq7if I think the 90s was the beginning of the end for ditches and waterways being kept clear. I have been lucky and in the 70s/80s they redid the ditches near me and made them about double the size 6ft deep 10ft wide. But the local commons took control of ditches where I live and when blockages are reported they fix them, might take a month before it done but it gets done before it damages houses, gardens and roads
