      Mine recently came back after I stopped taking the supplements after I was clear. Let’s face it - we don’t want to be on these things FOREVER! What I have learned is that the biggest cause of my inflammation are grains (corn, wheat, rice). Especially corn! Sharing this with you should you find that helpful, too. I’ll be coming out with more content on it, too. In the meantime, nice to have a way to keep the scalp together with supplements 😎. Thank you again!

    Hi! How long did you take these supplements 3x daily before you experienced any relief? I’m currently suffering through a flare up (I have psoriasis from head to toe) and noticing the psoriatic arthritis symptoms too. Thanks for sharing!

    • @RundownwithRachel
      @RundownwithRachel  9 місяців тому +11

      Girl I am so incredibly sorry you are going through that. It didn’t take long for me to get relief. If you are looking at doing anything/everything reducing sugar, alcohol and gluten - those are the big culprits for me - it’s makes the WORLD of a difference when I eliminate them. Because even after this video, over time, my scalp psoriasis came back. Also, goat kefir on an empty stomach is said to do wonders. I read a book after making this video called The Skin Solution and it really helped makes sense of psoriasis. In short, overgrowth of bad bacteria has our bodies attacking itself - hence autoimmune. By restoring the good gut bacteria with things like goat kefir it makes all the difference. Anyhow, these supplements definitely worked for me, but plain goat kefir (which you can find at the grocery store is also a great option). All that to say, I’ve learned that as much as these things help, when I have a poor diet it’s only a matter of time until it returns.

      Girl. I’m so sorry you are dealing with that. For immediately relief, do what you can to assess your diet. I have two or three places on my scalp. That’s very crusty and it’s been like that for years and nothing has helped. I assumed it was psoriasis. I didn’t know if it’s seborrheic dermatitis but it’s white crusty and just won’t come off. I had been scratching again which I know is the worst thing I can do so no shampoo will help this. Is that correct is all from the inside? Years ago, went to dermatologist, but they did nothing to help me. I just got fed up with all of that and quit I have never gotten help from a dermatologist. Is mostly in three places in the crown of my scalp. I do have dry scalp and my hair is not dry. It’s just my scalp but those three places have been there and there’s nothing that will help it.

    I never knew this existed! Also, I had to google WAP to DAP meaning. Hmmmm, stay away from Accutane! I'm glad you're learning to fix the root causes of leaky gut and the psoriasis. One of my nephews was allergic to nightshades and it was quite a "to do" to avoid them. His allergy was so bad that he couldn't eat hot dogs, mustard, etc because foods that have "spices" usually contain paprika - which is a pepper. That's out..... He couldn't eat a ton of things. But, he outgrew it. All that to say....good thing you're not actually allergic! :) Let us know after you're finished with all those supplements and the candida is cleared up how you feel. @@Rehmansyed665 it’s so hard to say if what worked for me will work for you, but I have had an easier time keeping my scalp clear with the supplements over diet. If memory serves me right, it took a week or two for me to notice a big reduction in inflammation!

      You are right there is no cure.
      Because it came back after 6 months. However, they did clear my psoriasis. I have found the long term approach really is diet - going no grain - no dairy works best for me, but it is difficult.
