Honestly bro, you could do tutorials on anything you wanna do on your car, or maybe play around with decks could be an idea, or maybe show how to do certain things to the engine to increase performance, or maybe different suspension to achieve different goals with how the car behaves on the road lr track🤷🏾♂️ also I just came from your insta live and you said you wanted to start a new project, what car are you thinking?
Stainless Steel Bearing Spacers I could not get it back thru the linkage it was almost like it was to thick to fit back in not sure if I’m doing something wrong I was able to put it together just without the spacers
Awesome vid, unfortunately on newer cars with rev hang there’s no point in lightning quick shifts if you have to wait a sec or two for the revs to drop, either way awesome vid !!!, I’m jealous, your 350 z is awesome
@@wingmangarage maybe what I meant to say if you want to have a smooth shift, you’ll have to wait for the revs to drop to the right rpm to not get a jerk, so I don’t see a reason to move the shifter quickly if I have to keep the clutch depressed for a second or so longer for the revs to drop, if you don’t care about smoothness then yeah you can shift a lot quicker with a shorter shifter
@@annley that’s weird. when i release my clutch, the gear engages and my rpm drops and it’s all a smooth transition no jerks. i don’t wait for anything. if i depress my clutch at 3k rpm, i shift and release the clutch quick enough that the rpm is still at 3k. all a smooth transition. you must be releasing your clutch to fast not giving it enough throttle
@@zachhuffman9336 he means there are a lot of newer cars that have a bad case of rev hang especially in higher rpms where if you clutch in after a pull the revs tend to hang there for a second before dropping down (tends to occur more in entry level manuals.) Every platform is gonna be different but sometimes the fix is to get the car tuned or even lighter flywheel. It has something to do with the way the oem tunes the drive by wire
You experience any rattle ? I have the same short shifter and it rattles like crazy(not the shifter itself I’ve been through so many trying to fix) but I’m sure it’s from the fork and bolt where the washer rattles in between them.
Besides a weighted shifter knob, you can get a longer one, actually increasing leverage and shortening the distance between your steering wheel and your shifter... How's that for a _short_ shift? 😉😜
Lot's of stuff in the works, what type of content do you want to see next?

Can you please tell me what type of weighted shift knob you have?

Not sure rev hang has anything to do with shifting quickly. It's more of a driver's aid than anything else.

I see you have an aftermarket double din I have an 07 350z and i need help finding a kit online
Same bro i need one for my 08
That shifter boot underneath the 350z that covers the linkage. Is a struggle to get back on
definitely
Where is the boot from?

yepp i get the rattling. just kinda tuned it out after years of driving haha. i’m sure there’s a solution, but it never bothered me enough to find it
question how much did it all cost u
hey man can you send a link to that shift knob then you man keep up the great content
in the description!
Let’s be honest, the only reason you own that car in that color is because as a kid you played Forza 2 and it’s nostalgic.
It was probably NFSU2 for me, and i literally bought the car for the wheels that came on it 😅
That’s the reason I even have mine as well nfsu2 z vs Evo

planning on that for my bimmer 👍🏾
