It's actually the only song I can recall from the entire movie. Most of the songs were too bland to be at all memorable, but this one was catchy.

but also, sadly true. the shortened isolation is absolute bologna. too much rest can be a bad thing (it helps to get up and move around sometimes) but then being forced to go back to full busy days when you aren’t ready is not good either
You mean too much rest is bad if you have Covid?
resting is absolutely necessary to recovery, yes. but getting up and walking can help, too, especially if it’s in the fresh air.
i suppose it can depend on the symptoms. but my mind was thinking particularly of having a bad cough, when it settles in your lungs. if you never get up and move around, it stays settled there. it could take several days to really feel better, but small improvements are better than none in my book.
on the flip side, being forced to go back to long days too soon where you can’t get any rest at all is not good, either

Not funny last year it was funny when I was sane now many people don't have friends(including me) Everyone is dying and my mum is beginning to make me doubt vaccines we don't know when if ever this is going to end I found out I am bi but my whole family homophobic you don't know if you are sick or not then there is climate change and I am simping on everyone because I crave social interaction besides my homophobic family just before Covid I was going on vacation Covid destroyed our lives but I guess it could be worse I could be starving to death its just I am past the point of laughing about it I just can`t any more I don't mean to undermine your opinion I just need to get this of my chest sorry.

…. If you were ever told there was a chance of this going away, you were lied to. There will be a descendant of the virus that will be with humans long past when we no longer notice it.
It wont go away, and we are all just going to need to decide how much risk we can individually tolerate. I hope one day it becomes more common knowledge that vitamin d is critical to preventing and fighting off viruses. Other topics are sensitive but that's such an easy and proven prevention method.

It's all fun and songs until you lay your soulmate to rest. My LH died on 10.10.21. But surprisingly this song blessed me. My daughter loves this movie and we're singing the Bruno song all around the house. Here's to hoping 2022 brings us more smiles and laughter then pain.

Holy shit, why is this so accurate? Also you have a good voice, nice job lol! Yeah, I'm confused too, I guess because it's "not as severe" we're not as worried or taking as many precautions? Also Covid fatigue sadly. I'm still being cautious and mostly wearing my mask in public (unless I'm eating) though I confess to not wearing one a few times... I definitely make sure to wear my mask when I'm working because I work a cash register and have to interact with a lotta people (fortunately there's also a glass pane in front of me so that helps too). So many people come into the place where I work without masks, including my coworkers. I've been vaxxed and I got the booster but sadly I did get Omicron shortly before I got the booster so that totally sucked and I was super careful not to spread it to the rest of my family, especially my aging parents whom I live with. Fortunately they both have all their vaccines so even if they did get it, it wouldn't be too bad but thankfully they didn't get it and for me it was just like having a bad cold I suppose. Still, best to be cautious and do your best not to get it! As they say, an "ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."

Very accurate. I'm still going to school, yet over half my friend group is sick or quarantined for exposure. We went from 10 people sitting at our table to three. And my classes are missing so many students, and even teachers, too.

2019, you only needed 3 ICU nurse, to take care of a 10-12 bed ward... now, they are expanding covid wards to cover several floors. And the intensive care unit has 20-30 people in it!
That is not just staff shortage, that's people making very bad health decisions, then someone else having to take care of them. And being told how to do their jobs by people with a UA-cam medical 'degree'!

In my area it is rising but bless their hearts I fell like opposite. I read so many denying it.. Vaccine issues.. The they die. It was sad.. Now 3 vaccines.. 3 of us still git omicron.. 3 to 4 days of a weird cold with myself being very tired.. Im done..Surely to God we are at least developing immunity.. But now they all wear mask and act like I did early on...
This was awesome, thank you for putting it together. When our family got COVID a couple of months ago (Delta I would assume), the kids were affected for roughly two days, my wife and I for about the same. I suppose at some point we are just going to accept that this virus, along with every other virus and influenza is here to stay and will just keep on evolving - life just has to go on regardless I suppose. Closing the school was very difficult for our kids, I hope that doesn't happen again. Thanks again for the humor relief, you guys have been fantastic through the whole thing.

In 2 years, I haven't so much as had a tickle in my throat until a few days ago. I was like, this might be it. I might finally have it. Got tested, but no not Covid. Strep test came back positive, though.
I think I had begun to forget over the last two years that other illnesses and viruses existed.

An RN friend & her family had natural immunity from the first covid version, then got double vaxxed, and still got omicron, with two of them hospitalized. She said it was like none of the protections had happened. And this was while practicing the preventive bubble lifestyle as best they could. This is nuts. Bright blessings, all.

In reply to this video and the other one where you were saying "What were we thinking, back when we used to go to work sick?" I just want to say that we used to not think that sickness equals death. We used to think it just meant putting up with some inconvenience, but we went to work and play because everyone believed that it's better to go to work (and even get sick from coworkers) and get that project done by the deadline, than to stay home and miss the big deal and have to lay poeple off. Sick just meant discomfort, not death. And now we're getting back to the same idea- society can't continue on long-term fearing death with every other thought. We are all ready to live again, with just a little bit of "come what may" because every factor of life has inherent risks.
I agree people really need to get back to this mentality....especially with all the info coming out from the cdc now!
So people should really think it´s more important get a project done... than health. I am loss at words.

My daughter’s school doesn’t even call anymore with covid cases LOL 😂
I'm a teacher, and my school just made that same decision. We were notifying the whole classroom when one kid was found positive, but it became literally an everyday thing, so we stopped! Ha!
My school district notifies EVERYONE (k-12) anytime a Covid case is identified in the district, and they say what school it’s from (middle and high one building, k another, 1&2 another and then 345 in one) so we’d get emails and it’s like “a child in the third grade has Covid” like great why do I, in the eleventh grade (siblings both in middle school) need to know about a seven year old
COVID has convinced me to live life to the fullest, regardless of all this COVID drama i know to just have fun with my kids, enjoy them and live to the fullest, because you never know when your last day will be.
