- Ephebopus murinus, The Skeleton Leg rehouse and care
The Skeleton Leg from South America Brazil, this striking terrestrial/fossorial spider is rather skittish and can be very defensive in attitude, a New World spider with an Old World presence, a must for any collection.

You are so peaceful when rehousing your spiders compared to other keepers!!!! I think it makes a world of difference!!! 😍😍😍
❤️❤️❤️❤️
To take the words out of your mouth Dave, "she is beautiful" love the skeleton look on her legs. Again so interesting. Great sound, great vision, thank you precious Mrs C.L.😘💓🌻💐
Aww she's a beauty, fast little lady too... I like that she's so defensive it shows a will for survival. I can't wait to see how the mating ritual goes when the time is right. 😆
What a beautiful tarantula! Damn they are so diverse!
To think a Tarantula that looks like skeleton is crazy!
She's a runner, rebel, and a stunner!
Dave, she is exquisite ! I was expecting a battle with her running around the table and you calmly using the catch cup and putting her in her new home. Thanks for a wonderful video as usual
I love my E. Murinus, she is the Queen in my collection! A must have for the collectors out there...
She's an absolutely stunning tarantula!!! 😍🕷
Such a striking spider! I will never be brave enough to get one, but do enjoy seeing them in videos. Thanks for sharing!😊
For the record, I have no problem with the audio on your videos. You provide such lovely homes for your spiders, I mean they're luxurious mate. I really appreciate that. There are some Tarantula channels where the spiders are lucky to have a polystyrene cup stuck in dirt to live in. Well done you! I love this spider 👍👍
She nearly got squished 😳😳😳 she is beautiful 🥰🥰🥰 thank you for another fab video Mr and Mrs Dave ❤️
Hey, I didn't have to wait long for a spider......awesome.💞🇨🇦
She is a quite the looker....nature is pretty cool 😎
would love to see a timelapse or something like that that show them webbing up their new homes!
I can't wait to see her new decorated Apartment. She's a bit of a Diva, I like her! 😋
Really great re-house video Dave & such a beautiful Spider to boot !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love this spider, i have two small juveniles. One a confirmed female according to the breeder The colors are stunning. When i first got in the hobby she was one of first i had on my must have list.
Man the sounds quality has improved so much
Skeleton leg is right! She is gorgeous!
Beautifully stunning spider! I had no idea that defensive spiders just freeze like that. It's almost like they're viewing and assessing the "threat" around them. Absolutely lovely video.
Love the skeleton look. Beautiful.
I love this channel; it’s like an alternate universe Michael Caine teaching us about spiders. The Skeleton Leg is my favorite T! I have a juvenile, one of my best feeders🕷🤘🏻💀🤘🏻🕷
These had been on my wish list for a while. Mines only a sling at the moment but it amazes me just how fast they are, you'd think they were an old world tarantula based on their behaviour and speed
Gorgeous spider! Loved her attitude and how she just froze! Another great and informative video!
She is absolutely beautiful!! I love her skeleton look!! Wow!!
Gorgeous spider
Gorgeous spider Dave, being so sensitive to it's environment, allows for a lightening fast responsiveness, especially in the event of an imminent house collapse or landslide. Fantastic footage and commentary as usual, you've definitely got the 'masters touch'! Cheers.
WELL SAID🕷️
She is a stunning spider.
another fine project PROFF at the early stages. what a beautiful colour spider and fine markings on the legs. some great information as we expect from the BEASTIE ROOM. great video camera lady. many thanks guys take care
Many thanks!
Beautiful spider and an easy she almost rehoused herself.
Easy to see why she's one of your favorites, Dave. She's gorgeous! What you do is so cool. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Dave and Camera Lady, hope you’re doing well today.
I’ll echo your words too, She is a stunning looking Spider 🕷🕷 love the skeleton markings on her legs.
Dave, I know you know what you’re doing, BUT man dear, my heart was beating 20 to the dozen 🤦♀️ I was thinking to myself “if she glimpses your fingers here she’s going take a lunge for you” Then the wood snaps… and…She’s in defence mode 🤦♀️ and you’re so laid back you’re horizontal 😂 lovely camera work from Camera Lady too. The footage of the tarantula was brilliant 🤩
THAT’S why your channel is the absolute best Dave.
Take care and stay safe 💕💙🕷xxx
Thank you 🙏 so much ❤️❤️❤️
Uh, I think I'll get an A. Seemanni and pretend it's an E. Murinus. Lol! Great transfer.
Such a cutie! Thank you both for yet another interesting and informative video! Have a great end of the week and weekend 😀! Susanne 👩🦳 and Trollet 🐱 🐾 ❤.
Cracking spider, great vid the breaking log was ooo moment lol
9:20: One marvellous species! 🙆♂️😀They are just great display spiders.
What’s so crazy to me, is that HER leg markings are literally almost exactly the same as the a Seemanni…. But totally different species! That’s incredible. Beautiful girl!!!! 🤍 thank you for another great informative video !
A very stunning spider! I think my favorite. Excellent video.
She is an absolute beautiful creature.
She's beautiful, what a looker 👍
I absolutely love this spider! I have two bitty slings, can’t wait till they get bigger.
Perfect timing! I was planning on finding one to take home on Sunday at our local reptile expo. We love our cyanognathus so much that we’ve been dying for another ephebopus species! Awesome video as always. She is gorgeous!
Another stunner right there :) I was expecting the threat display to last longer. Good thing she ran into the new enclosure and just froze. Looking forward to seeing the breeding of these beauties.
Stay safe and thanks for sharing :)
Now that’s a beautiful spider…
Gorgeous! One of my targets for my collection.
Brilliant video Dave, that was a nice smooth rehouse, there an absolutely stunning species of spider 🕷, and that's definitely another pairing to look forward to, thanks for another fantastic video Dave, and another splendid job by yourself and camera 📷 lady.
Many thanks! looking for a male for my adult female now 👍
You have the most beautiful spiders I've ever seen. The care you have for all of your animals is inspiring I love the channel it's my absolute favorite. Can't wait for the next one.
❤❤❤❤❤
I absolutely love the look of this spider. Truth is though, I am a new keeper and they terrify me a bit.
I'm gonna repeat this comment in every video until the problem with the audio is behind us so the lovely folks who hang out here can use this temporary fix and hear Dave properly:
For anyone who might need to get around this issue until the scheduled uploads have finished, here's how you do it on Windows: Go to Start and click on the Settings' gear, then Accessibility; once you're there, select Audio on the left menu and switch on Mono. Ta da! Once you've finished with Dave's video, you can switch it off again and go on with your stereophonic life as if nothing had happened
Stunning spider, abdomen reminded me a bit of the xenethis.
Really cool looking spider. Great stuff as always!!
Hi Dave and Camera Lady. Thank you again for a lovely video. I think this is one of my favorite spiders. They are so striking! Interesting about the hair flicking from the front instead of the back. There is alway more to learn isn’t there.
Take care!🙂
Love these beautiful guys. I remember thinking they were an OW species for a little while back in the day and was surprised to find out they weren't. They really can be quite fiesty at times but definitely worth it! ♡
Always love seeing your content, Dave!
You're a legend.
👍❤❤❤❤
She is sure a beauty.
She is a beautiful tarantula indeed. I do like skeleton leg tarantulas. I haven't got one yet, but it would be a future one to get. Seems very quick to tell you, they aren't happy being disturbed... But it's still beautiful. Cool rehousing.
What a lovley young lady you have there Dave! She's a absolute stunner! If I had my way ... I'd have one of each spider alive! But, we can't have everything we want can we! Excellent video as all ways! Good advice, beautiful spiders, what else can anyone ask for!! Keep up the great work!!!🥰
I love this spider, i have two small juveniles. One a confirmed female according to the breeder The colors are stunning
You're so brave (maybe it's just experience) rehousing them in a room like that with so many places to disappear. I rehoused my M.Balfouri the other day in the bath and it still ended up on the bathroom wall lol
It happens my friend ❤
I love the E.murinus. I've had my girl for a few years now and she's beautiful.
Another brilliant video, cheers Dave! I've had this T on my list for a long time. They're such awsome looking Tarantulas. Seem to be fairly simple to care for, will definitely have to look into buying one
I love Ephebopus. I have all four of them.
I love to see this species. They are awesome!!
She is quite striking. It's springtime in the Rockies. Been out in the garden. Seeing lots of locals in the area. Hope you and the Mrs are having fair weather. We could still get snow until July. Of course it won't stick.
…the audio isn’t full, but you warned us about that…
no worries, super love
This is one if not my favorite tarantula along with the white knee or pink knee
Sometimes I watch the videos on my Sony headphones bc my kids are sleeping etc. Just a heads up, it’s only playing in left ear again. O wait it corrected itself at around the 3/4 mark! O wait back to left Lmao 🤣 You can see I was writing during. Amazing video as usual! Always wanted a care sheet on these. Been contemplating if I should get one. Wow I didn’t know they were that defensive 😂 Thanks 🙏🏽
rip right headphone user
Always the best thought out and built encosures. Outstanding !
She is so beautiful 🥰😍 dave
Stunning little beauty!
We agree!
Beautiful spider! great video Dave atb.
wow she is absolutely beautiful looking forward to seeing some offspring
sound is amazing by the way 👍😊
Wow those markings on her are beautiful! Thanks Dave great video!
She is pretty. This is a video that you seemed a little uncertain on how to move her usually you know exactly how to go about it. But you still showed that you stay calm be gentle and love your spider it all works out well. Thanks again.
I couldn’t tell where she was at first 😂
That's a very pretty species.
Haven't seen them for sale in Thailand but if I do I'll definitely try to get one!
Brilliant love this species
Thanks for the video it's really helped on a bad day
❤❤❤
Thank you for the videos. I started watching u rehouse like 30 slings and said omg no way could I have a spider let alone 30 some running everywhere. I subscribed and after about a month I totally changed my tune. I just received a gbb and a b. hamorii. Thank you so much.
Awesome ❤
Funny you put this video up Dave I was thinking of getting one of these never had one yet but they are a STUNNING T a must have for any collection
Yes. One of my favourite speicies. I have a small adult female in a planted tank and she gas builded a turret of oakleafs and other leafs i added to soil. She has grew surprisingly slowly. I though they would grow pretty fast? Maybe just mine is little odd! Yes they can be very defenssive and quick uf desturbed. One time venom dropped from her fangs.
Great video, great camera work Camera Lady 🤩
What a scare, for a moment I thought you had crushed her when the wooden trunk broke. Beautiful tarantula on the other hand. Regards from Spain.
No its only a very thin piece of bark no danger to her ❤️👍
What a gorgeous girl she's deffo a stunner ...
What a beauty! 💕 Great video, thanks for uploading 😊
Great camera work
Absolutely beautiful spider but they're thin on the ground. I have a Ephebopus uatuman, just a sling but already got the emerald colour 💚
Very interesting about the urticating hairs, I didn't know that, every day is a school day watching your videos and I love it! 😍
Can't wait to see you pair these and put my name down for a baby 😂😂 🖤🕷️
wow, that is a defensive pose
Wow, a bit like the Aussie Funnel Web.They are scary lol.
The Northern Tree Dwelling Funnel Web is the most dangerous we have....and largest of the family too.
Morning Dave hope ya morning is going well wot an amazing vidoe and she's a beauty
Awesome video with some great info. I've been worried about my SAF weight as her abdomen always looks small. Now I can stop worrying! Lol. Ephebopus are one of my fav genus. There so gorgeous. 🥰
Handler: She’s very fast and very defensive. Oh, and we haven’t got a clue where she is…
* Proceeds to dance his finger 1” above her burrow several times lol
I can see much more than you guys on film 😂😂
Lovely video Dave
This is one of my favorite T's, a gorgeous little spider if you had asked me 20 years ago if I would spend the day watching Dave's little beasties about spiders I would have said you were nuts but here I sit I'm playing catch-up
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Amazing tarantula! Thank you for all the info, your knowledge is brilliant. Thank you both for all that you do. 💙
Thank you 🙏
I love your videos and always look forward to them. My favorite videos are the egg sac and egg/sling removals. Now you have ALMOST made me not so terrified of them lol. I still wouldn’t ever get a tarantula but I would consider getting one of those cute little fluffy jumping spiders with the little faces lol and they have literal puppy dog personalities which makes them even cuter! Unlike tarantulas that want to kill everything lol. Hope to see lots of those sac removals in the future with all your breeding projects you’ve mentioned before and I can’t wait to see the babies!!
Watch this here on UA-cam: "Precious, the sweetest tarantula in the world". Grammostola Rosea tarantulas are sweet-natured and fluffy, and they have NICE colors on their carapace (the "shield thing" on their back).
@@Ujuani68 are those the tarantulas people call “Rose hairs” if not the genius name? If so, yeah those are very pretty!
@@Tezz-4444 Yes. 😀👍
Another stunner Dave!!! So, very beautiful!!!! Great rehouse to btw. I don't see many T's in fact this is the first T I've seen give a threat posture in any of your videos that I can think of lol. Tyfs God bless you
Another fabulous video, I am catching up with the videos I missed, it is good to be back watching my two favourite UA-camrs! Love you both so much! 💐💐💐
Such gorgeous yellows am blacks
Rehoused my T. albopilosum 2 weeks ago, after being freaked out for 2 weeks. It went very well. No problem at all. So now I can relax for a long time before I have to rehouse "her" (I call her her but thats not confirmed yet) again.
Your videos are always so informative and I am impressed at how calmly you deal with your tarantulas.
