Just a quick note to say at 37, your videos have rekindled my childhood love of 40K - thanks for the obviously massive amounts of effort you put into these.
You ask me the emperor has the worst job in the imperium. He’s had to sit in that chair for 10,000 years as a rotting corpse while having his soul torn apart. Having to power the astronomicon and the astropaths all day everyday.
Having gone through this series, I can safely say. I would probably fall to heresy and the whispers of the dark, promise of better things, Being in one of these soul crushing jobs.
At least, in the current setting, Guilliman realized it already: how dare the Imperium demands faith of its citizens of it gives them nothing at best or give them destinies worst than death at worst (turning innocents into servitors, for instance). If only the annoying LARPing Imperium's apologists had this intellectual integrity...
Merry Christmas Luetin. Thank you for everything you’ve done for the community. For the in depth lore and information on the craziest narratives there is. Thanks for helping us forget the real world for a bit. Hope you find continued happiness and success and look forward to seeing and hearing your voice into the next year. The Emperor protects!
In the grim darkness of the far future there is only mandatory overtime. Merry Christmas Leutin, I'm on long term disability right now and your channel has helped keep me sane throughout the day and helped me sleep through the night for the last year. I love your approach to storytelling, you and our gentle servant Baldemort are the peak of a very dedicated lore community that I've come to cherish as much as the characters and places you speak of. Thank you!
Funnily enough last week one of my finals for one of my college courses was to make an adaptation of a short story and I decided to make it about a person living on a hive world slowly going insane. Got an A for my project, feels good
@Luetin09 I'd love to hear about what would happen if a genestealer cult infiltrated into one of the Navigator houses being able to hide away and breed underneath the house even smiling in glory as they lead a ship straight into the maw of fleet leviathan

As always, thank you for all your hard work bringing the 40k universe to the masses. My best wishes to you and your family this Christmas weekend. May the Emperor bless you this coming year.
I'm surprised Astropaths haven't been mentiond in this series yet. Your eyes are taken out and you are made to send messages that kill a little part of you every time you do it until you die. Like having your life sucked out of you every time you send a text.
As I understood it the eyes shrivel up from the use of their powers or something like that, not that they are taken out. If memory serves it was mentioned in Outcast Dead when there is an explanation of why Zulane has chosen to get bio-ocular implants. If nothing else I now have a reason to go and read one of my favorite stand alone books in the series. :)

As a Tacticus player, thank you for the code. I will say it's easy to get into, a year later of playing the grind to get what you want is never ending and the play to win hardly results in much that is useful. But it's 40K keeps me coming back.
Welcome to tacticus! I've been playing for a while and love it
Oh hell yeah! Excellent Christmas gift for all of us - makes my job seem to suck less lol.
Future horror video maybe about who has been stuck in the warp the longest.
In the grim Darkness of Christmas, there is only the jolly laughing God in your Chimney, to keep you fearful of his Elfs 🎅
The worst jobs in the imperium is one of my favorite ongoing series that you do.
We all have down time this christmas..... Listening from work in-between cleaning up one mess after another.
L: well maybe not all. Lol thanks for the grind breaker video
I feel for you, I used to have to work all over Xmas as well.
Merry Christmas! Thank you for everything you’ve done and continue to do to explore such a rich universe the source material of which is as obtuse as the Imperium itself.
