You are amazing!
Nice Video! Forgive me for butting in, I would love your opinion. Have you considered - Riddleagan Smart Hands Remedy (should be on google have a look)? It is an awesome one off product for learning piano fast minus the normal expense. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my old buddy Taylor after a lifetime of fighting got excellent success with it.
Fantastic work! How can I get the link?
I'M GONNA STEAL ALL OF THESE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA tyvm
Every producer on here copying these
YESS!! I AM A CHORD THEFT 🔥🔥
Man you just put me in the mood to grind again... I've been playing the piano for 8 yrs without lessons and came quite far... But unfortunately lost the burning desire to come even further... Now I got time but somehow didnt manage to motivate myself... Seems like I needed something like that video... Thank you my man!
Dreamer! My favorite comment of the day - this means so much and reminds me of why I do this. I'm really glad this sparked your passion again - I totally understand how you feel. I'm following this up with a volume 2 series next
#dreamer, this probably happened to me too 2years ago thank to you when I was beginner..
And this video synthesize all I love..
You gave a second kick.
Thx for your givings.
Yes..I agree!..best video! Ive been searching for progressions to advance my very basic piano skills and this is by far the best. I'm inspired and looking forward to doing this tut
Wow, just opened a whole bunch of opportunities for me! Thanks so much!
I'm so pleased this one helps Seiph80. I have more progressions and licks on their way ;)
@@jazztutorial can't wait!
Pretty amazing we can turn on a computer or iPad and get this kind of instruction at home for free, great stuff, thank you much.
Hi Julian I just wanted to thank u for your excellent tutorials. I’m a long time classical/hard rock pianist and your teachings have really helped me to develop my jazz ear. I don’t naturally “hear” jazz when I play as I’ve been in the rock and classical venues for so long. You make it so easy and enjoyable! Fantastic work. Looking forward to your work. Thank you for fueling my desire to learn jazz. Peace to you.....
Much thanks! The richness in those voicings and transitions! Bless
You just started me on my grind! Thank you so much 🔥
I'm dedicating the next 60 days to studying this material. You've just unlocked so much for me, thank you!
I’ve used a lot of these chord progressions on guitar, particularly the Kenny Barron voicings. Thank you!
turquoise-ish cyan and red-blue are pleasing to the eye. Im loving it!
5:44 Now that’s some in depth chord/melody analysis going on in the top right corner. Great vid! 😄
Excellent job! I feel so grateful for finding this channel!
This is great! Learning progression 3 helps you learn how to transpose the ii-v-i to pretty much any scale you want. That's pretty genius!
You are amazing jazz teacher! 🎹🎹🎹so talented! All the best to you! And thank you for your hard work 🙏💐
THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR THISSSSS😭😭😭😭 THANK YOUUU❤️❤️❤️❤️
It's just awesome, thanks for the illustrative video and great variety of styles!
Hey Julian. I just want to thank you for inspiring me to return to the piano after not playing for 25 years. I've just purchased a digital keyboard ready to get back in the saddle, based purely on your videos. Your chord progressions from some hip hop, coupled with your love of songs like Reflekt's - Need to Feel Loved, gives me such a sense of affinity with your 'inner flow'. Please keep up the great work!
Curious what you bought? I'm in the market for a keyboard and can't decide. Peace ✌️
I'm a beginner in jazz piano and not yet able to play these chord progressions, but you help me a lot to exercise building up the chord structures theoretically by name and then verify them with your played notes...
Great...
Thanks very much... 🚀
Missed you Julian! Excellent video x
That Falling Deeper Diatonic progression is interesting
these are so useful! thank you so much for making the notation free :)
you are a MAD man thank you for providing this and making learning jazz a fun experience, earned yourself a subscriber!
What a wonderful gift! Thank u!
Excellent excellent tutorial. So much music in those chords. Your phrasing of the chords is different from mine!! Great lockdown melodies will spring from these progressions. Respect Julian!!!
I love your videos so much, you make it so simple to learn and also understand, thankyou so much I sound great only because of you!!
Keep em coming!!! This really helps me :")
So much knowledge in a single video, thank you!
So sweet!
This lesson is piceless and so life changing, thank you Sir

Hey julian, i have been watching your videos for a while, and i never had the chance to thank you for all your help, keep it going!
That means a lot Laquetemantiene - thank you so much! I'm really glad the videos and resources are helping you
THANK YOU JULIAN!
So much to learn!! Gonna master this and do them in all 12 keys over the next 6 months!
Wonderful video! All of the progressions were great, I think I really enjoyed 8 and 9 the most!
God bless you sir!!!...great job
Very helpful for my next lo-fi project ... Thanks a lot sir ... 💞
A pleasure to subscribe you as I watch your video as well . As musician producer, jazz lover pro guitarist and piano (not a super player on keys) I can assure that material like this transmits the energy needed to stay elevated or regain the desire to fly. In the midst of so much current excitement type "forget theory and play great music with just one click" what you do here in your channel is fresh air to breathe what music really means.
Thanks friend.
My new favorite vid!
I really loved this!!!
Nice, nice, NICE ! Many Thanks for this.
Thx Julian. Love these.
Hey Julian, this is awesome stuff for an "almost advanced player" like me who gets stuck in his ways pretty much all the time. It would be wonderful if you could pick some of the progressions and explain how they work in a theoretical way. BTW: I already bought all your books more than a year ago. Thanks again, I really appreciate this!
Verrry good thank you!!
Hi! Thank you for your work, very useful, inspiring and simply beautiful.
thank you , your channel is definetly worth subscribing!
I'll be subscribing to your premium because of this lesson! Fantastic stuff!
Thanks, Julian.
Incredible style thank you!
Progression three was exactly what I was looking for, mind if I steal it🙄
Beautiful….. a lot to learn ♥️
Like! Smooth and boss sound!!!!!🎹🎼
Wonderful. Thank you 🙏
Falling Deeper just takes to a different Melodic Mood :)
Thank you so much
imma sample all this!!
Wooow these are spicy! Great job on this video. I really feel the urge to play something myself now...
Thank you for this tutorial.
God, I've been waiting for this video my whole life!

thk you for all your tuto
Danke!
16 😍
All soooo beautiful ...
I'm not a jazz aficionado, but what I hear is (way beyond) Steely Dan plus Sting!
They're so good
Thanks Sir
The Soulful Progressions were my favorite.
Wena compadre! Yo tambien soy de Chile! Este tipo es asombroso
Thank you for these tasty chord progressions and for the free link. I like the voicings you use. They are the same ones I learned from the Jamey Abersold method. I like how the G7#5#9 is the same voicing for the Db7 (tritone sub).
Trank you very much!!!
Sweet! A novice but if I can learn even one of these I’ll be proud. Off to the keyboard I go!
this video is excellent
Def using some of these!
Great vid... The last progression reminded me of Bill Evan's - Time Remembered
Fantastic collection - thanks so much!
My pleasure Jim! I'm glad this one was useful
Excellent stuff as usual Julian. Thanks.
Thank you so much MrConcept! I'll be posting more like this next
Loving the new layout!
Thank you QG! This is how my upcoming lessons will look
great work! subscribing asap!
These are amazing. I do classical piano but watching these inspire me so much to start doing jazz piano too
That's great to hear Jack! Mostly you just add 7ths and 9ths to an otherwise diatonic progression, and add some 'side-slipping' here and there (moving a chord up or down in parallel)
HUGE !!!
SO DAMN GOOD !!!!!!!!!
Nice chords!
I really liked no. 11!
When them drums came in 🔥
Hola amigo!!! Saludos desde Buenos Aires Argentina!!!🇦🇷🎹👍👍👍
thanks
lol I remember when I started playing piano
"Cool! We're on C major, so I don't get to play the black keys and it's easier."
Much simpler times!
Unfortunately to get the sophisticated sounds, you have to do lots of modulation and complex things. But it's always worth it in my opinion
@@jazztutorial It absolutely is! I just think it's funny to look back and remember those days 😂
I really like your videos, I discovered them recently and as someone who is trying to learn how to play jazz I find them really helpful and encouraging, thanks
I remember about a year ago, the first time I started trying to memorize and play a rootless Cmin9. It was obvious that no human hand could ever form that shape and play those keys, and only those keys. The trick to learning to play jazz appears to be ignoring an endless stream of such obvious realities. Now I play every rootless min9 in every key, right up or down the octave. Hooray! I live in a world of baffling delusions!
Same haha!!
Same haha!!
no blabla, just sound chords. Awesome - al last.
God bless you
You are the best
Awsome! Could you please do a vid about how to play the accompaniment for singing?
Will you ever do a video on how you make beats? The beat in that R&B section is killer
Jules!! A couple sweet tings in this one!
Thank you so much SDB! I'm glad you liked some of these
