Totally skipped the part about a giant gorilla starting a cult to create a Man version of Akatosh to separate from the Mer version that was so effective it broke time itself.
The Marukhati didn't just break time, they succeeded in breaking the original Aedra (Aka) into several shards and lesser dragon deities who encapsulated only part of the original Aedra's themes. I forgot how many pieces Aka was broken into, it was either 7 or 9, but named shards include the main shard Akatosh, Alduin (this is what is meant by him being Akatosh's child,) Auri-El, Ruptga, and possibly Alkosh.
Might be a bit much to ask, but I would love to see videos about nearly every single thing in the Elder Scrolls! I never realized the lore was so massive!
CrazyGamerDragon64 If he does, I hope he doesn't spend the whole video talking about how great "Talos" was. Tiber Septim was a Breton named "Hjalti Early-Beard" and he was a bit of an ass.
I just realized the statue of talos meaning. The Akaviri aka Tsaesci snake men era was ended and replaced by the septum Empire, which is represented by talos (tiber septum) killing a snake (the tsaesci dynasty)
The Akaviri Potentate was gone for 500-600 years before Tiber Septim was born. A few warlords and minor dynasties (including one Reachman dynasty that ruled Cyrodiil, High Rock, and almost half of Skyrim) had taken the title of Emperor since then, but none possessed the dragon blood More likely Talos killing the serpent is an allusion to Ysmir Wulfharth (the Atmoran king who is 1/3 of Talos and who most Nord myth about Tiber Septim is actually about) overcoming Orkey (a weird amalgamation of Arkay and Malacath, generally represented by a snake) when he mastered the shout to restore the lost years to the de-aged Nords. It's complicated, but Talos is actually 3 men (the Breton Hjalti Early-Beard, the Imperial Zurin Arctus, and the Atmoran Ash-King Wulfharth) who comprised 3 figures of legend ("Tiber Septim"=Hjalti and Zurin, "Ysmir"/"General Talos Stormcrown"=Hjalti and Wulfharth, and "The Underking"=Zurin and Wulfharth) and who became inextricably linked as a result
Its a shame that the imperial city isn't as big in oblivion as it is in the thumbnail. In fact, it's so stupid that they couldn't show the more fantastical elements of cyrodiil as they were described in older games.
It's stupid laziness. How Cyrodil was described in TES3 sounded like the perfect successor to the alien looking Vvardenfell but instead we got a nice, cheerful generic medieval looking place which is ok but nothing special at all.
Lilmothiit, you were close though, that's a hard one to remember to spell lol. They would be cool to have as a playable race, I always want more beast races in games. Not sure if it's still around, but a few years ago there was a playable fox race mod for Skyrim that I use to have.

Good video, but you made little mistake regarding Mede dynasty's rise to power. After Martin's death the Empire was ruled by High Chancellor Ocato, who was looking for a new emperor. Ocato was assassinated in 4E 10 and a warlord by a name of Thules the Gibbering became the emperor for 7 years. Titus Mede I challenged him for that role and managed to take Imperial City with few thousand men in 4E 17 and thus started the Mede dynasty. I know this video is old but i just discovered it know.

I like the clear concise delivery in your videos but if I may say one thing -- sometimes you're almost too broad and too generic especially when concerning important places, people, and time periods. The Akaviri Potentates, Culhecain, Morihaus and details about the Cyrodiilic emperors such as the Tiber and the Walking Ways, Shezzarines, Numidium, and of course the deeper ties to Akatosh. All of these things and more are super important to who and what the Imperials and their empire. If anything, you mostly summarized the rise and fall of The Empire. What about the Cryo-nords? With ESO we know now more about the Ayleids after they were displaced.
This is occasionally a complaint that comes up, and it's certainly a fair one.
