Good morning Glad to wake up to another Quansheng video! I purchased a board from Ali and it came missing a component. The YG404Q. They said they would send a new one haven’t heard from them since. Got another on eBay that looks correct. Thanx for your hard work on this project!
i picked up the v1 and it just arrrived. While I was waiting v2.1 has come out. Should I just install v1? i was going to buy the v2.1 but then realised I'd end up spending more on these mod boards than the radio itself which is only 15 quid. what should I do?
@@codernov would it be possible to map all the connections to the preamp and add it on a diy board? You already measured all the components so people with v1 would only need a schematics to make an upgrade themself.
@@gl0sek It's an audio preamp using LM321 opamp. Yes. But hell no. One of those situations where you better off buying the board. Don't worry about the version. They already come out with another version, Koreans have video with that one. Version 1 is good, just use it. All you have to do, where audio exists, there are two resistors, short one of them for extra loudness.
@@gl0sek With CEC you won't get anything from new EEPROM. It don't supports it. Only fagci Reborn supports it at the moment. Reborn is kinda in alpha stage, but it is usable, plus we going to finish it soon.
They have version with upgraded EEPROM on ali. No sure about the Si. In Russia I offer on our local ads site avito services for modification. If I was in the U.S. I'd offer those services on eBay.
I'm sorry, I did find a modded K5 mobo on ali, if we look at pic display and everything with SI installed. I personally wouldn't buy it. But that's just me. Here is the link aliexpress.ru/item/1005006911464932.html
