HI, I followed your video and did the modification on a Quansheng UV-K5 (8). I had problems connecting the pad of the SI4732 V.2 board with resistor (the bridge with the shortest wire). I destroyed the board pad and I attached the wire with some solder to the board without the pad. The radio seems to work but I can't switch from dual frequency to single frequency and therefore I don't see the various options. By pressing the 0 button the word "wait" appears on the video but the radio stops and you have to turn it off and on again. Do you have some advice? Thank you Graziano - Italy
You soldered the coaxial cable for the second antenna to the output of the transistor instead of the input. So you loose sensitivity. Solder the inner lead of the coax where the little white cap was to the left of the black bigger part, the transistor. And the braid to the gnd area below the display. Thanks for the video!!!
In the actual test, the reception rate was better where I played. Since personal opinions differ, we recommend that you make your own judgment as to what is best.
I sure wish this was in English. This is the mod I'm looking to do. I have the tan chip and this is the first video I've seen that does the tan chip mod.

I ordered this board with individual parts from Aliexpress. Unfortunately, there were no instructions on how to assemble the board. The components are numbered but where do they belong on the board? Does anyone know?
@@illerd17 thank you. I don’t use my computer to watch u tube. So the extension will not work. I have researched this over the years and the person that uploads the video needs to enable “auto translation” when it’s uploaded. But thanks for your input!!!

Ооо... Этот вариант интереснее.. Купил предыдущий вариант.. наsi4732.. получил сильный фон без антенны 9 баллов на нижних диапазонах короткие волны.. от 3 МГц до 18 МГц.. от синтезатора частоты.. Все проверил сто раз.. ошибок нет.. кто скажет что не так?
