Thanks for the support, Brent! I just uploaded a raw episode for Day 7 on my @QuasiRAW channel. It's a composited 2-hr timeline from my helmet camera (unedited)... that should be ready for viewing in 4K later today. I'm still editing the "production" video for the main channel, so that'll take another week to finish. There were a LOT of great roads to ride (or watch and "virtual ride") on Day 7, but I wasn't having a good time by the end of the day... too many sketchy roads and close calls with cagers. I was getting Cannonballed out. The raw video shows the emotional ups and downs of Cannonball. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
It's hard to find any bad roads in western Arkansas or southern Missouri... they're all good. The Ozark Mountains offer some truly spectacular scenery and motorcycle roads! 😉👍 --QM
Doug and I were chatting about those long, open stretches of road earlier in the ride. I mentioned that I'd love to play "East Bound and Down" or "I've Been Everywhere, Man" to some of that footage, but UA-cam would strike it for copyright infringement. 😉👍 --QM
How are you doing, I hope you're having a fast recovery and doing better. I'll be riding again this year, didn't ride a motorcycle since my crash in October 2022. Finally in better shape and ready to get back on two wheels. Buying a new Grom soon, can't wait ☺️ Can't wait to see you back on a bike, take care 🙏

Late spring or early fall are the best times to ride there. Summertime can get pretty steamy. Late fall is beautiful to see the trees changing, but it can get windy and chilly without much warning: ua-cam.com/video/nbGb5DqH88w/v-deo.htmlsi=ndy5q1kTlxUh5aaU . Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

@@jasontomica8938Howdy, Jason! I've been inundated with family emergencies and other issues for the past several weeks. I hope to get back into my editing queue for the Cannonball videos soon. I published the remaining "raw" episodes on my @QuasiRAW channel for viewers that wanted to see the early versions and to have some closure for the journey. Howdy, and thanks for watching! I tried several different windscreens on my PCX's, and this National Cycle screen worked the best for my touring needs: National Cycle N50002 : amzn.to/49CnWRS (fits 2015-2018 PCX150) National Cycle N50005 : amzn.to/3TedRVj (fits 2019-2022 PCX150/160, but verify fitment before ordering!) The height of my screen is a bit too short and creates some turbulence at my helmet, so I added a cheap deflector at the top to manage airflow (and noise) for the Cannonball trip: amzn.to/49wPHev . That cheap spoiler worked reasonably well, but the mounts weren't very tight and loosened up several times through the trip. The adjustable side pivots developed some slack that couldn't be tightened, so it rattled for the last several days of the trip. Higher quality spoilers/deflectors are available (such as the MRA X-creen), but they often cost as much or more than the windshield itself! 🤣👍 --QM
No, we didn't have any larger scooters following along with us in 2023... at least not for any significant distance. There were several full-sized street and ADV bikes that followed with us, including at least one rider ( #117 BattleBornRider ) who had to swap his Kawasaki Z125 after it failed (continued the Cannonball route on his Yamaha T7). I haven't decided yet whether I'll be competing for points or just riding as a spectator in 2025. If I decide to ride as a spectator, then I might ride my SilverWing 600 and focus more on videography. If that happens, I'll DEFINITELY skip the gravel and off-road sections... I wouldn't want to wrangle that 530-lb pig on slippery surfaces! Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
No, most of the ADV150's were wearing the factory rubber, which has a light dual-purpose tread (90% street, 10% dirt). A few riders upgraded to Michelin City Grip tires, and those are NOT good off-road... that's what I ran on my PCX150. 😉👍 --QM
The telemetry data for the heads-up display is recorded by my GoPro Hero11 camera (and my Garmin Zumo GPS when I'm riding with it). Creating the overlays is a lot of extra work, but I think the end results are worth the effort. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
