Frizzlife MP99 under sink water filter installation guide

Here is how to install the Frizzlife MP99 filtration system
Step 1: Mount the bracket at least 4 inches lower
Step 2: Mount the bracket
Step 3: Mount the filter system
Step 4: Shut off water supply and connect the valve
Step 5: Connect the filter system
Step 6: Connect the faucet
Step 7: Flush the water and use

After several attempts and multiple times viewing the video, we finally got it off and replaced it with a new filter. It wasn’t easy but shutting off the waterline and bleeding waterlineseemed to help release the pressure. The main thing is to remove the filter container CLOCKWISE but then the actual filter, you turn COUNTER CLOCKWISE with the special wrench. Putting new one back on was much easier. Definitely could tell the filter did it’s job.

For those who find it hard to replace the filter as its hard to grip the housing. What I did was lay it flat on a chair and placed my knee on it, not with my full weight, just to keep it in place (or you could use your other hand instead of knee) then make sure the tool is perpendicular to the floor so all you do is push down on the tool and it will come off.

This is the kind of installation I want to do, but with an MK99 instead of MP99. I can hook up the inlet hose that came with it to a 3/8" tee at the shutoff, but what kind of adapter will I need to connect the outlet side to my 1/4" spigot?

Get into weight lifting, that’ll do it.

@@kyokobaba9269 Yeah. Turn off the water to the filter and bleed the system. if you don't do this, it creates a vacuum and you will need explosives to get it off.

I havnt changed my filter for a year as the container is impossible to open. broke 2 wrenches trying and gave up. IMPOSSIBLE

Did you empty as much water out as possible before trying? Also. Holding the canister with my legs and turning with both hands with the wrench helps me.

Can MP99 be used as MK99, I.e without faucet

Be aware that remove the blue clip first.
