      Question:
      Which BASE documents are used?
      *The THOUSANDS from Antioch

      *the few from Alexandria cult?

      The Textus Receptus (documents from Antioch) is THE FAITH once received - as the brethren were first called Christians at Antioch & Stephen contended for the Faith against the Alexandrians thousands of years ago
      Today we must do so as well.

    I am a catalan jew. I think that probably the Mathew Shem Tov in Hebrew could be a translation or compared witha a Catalan NT, a dialect of occitan, done by some catalan Waldensian arround the XII century, the oldest NT in a native language. There are 4 copies, 1 in Lyon, 1 in Barcelona, 1 in Aziz and 1 in Paris. The Waldenses were christians who lived in Catalonia and Occitania, kept the Shabbath for what were known as enshabatats, and had good links with the jewish comunity en Girona and Barcelona. This Bible, at least the OT, was directly translated from hebrew, not from latin or greek.

    Hey Lady! You in the video... Christine Darg. The word is pronounced... karaH-ITE. NOT... kara-RITE. *1* 'R'... NOT 2.
    ALSO... Nehemia's NAME is pronounced.. ne-HEM-ia. NOT... ne-HOHM-ia.
    AT LEAST, I've NEVER heard HIM pronounce it as 'ne-HOHM-ia' over the last 8 years I've been listening to him. And during that time...
    ALSO... during that time I've NEVER heard HIM pronounce 'Karaite' as... 'kara-RITE'... either. And it *IS* spelled... 'karite'... WITH ONE 'R'.
    Sorry I'm so 'WORD-PICKY'. But I cannot help it when I hear certain words MISPRONOUNCED that badly.

    Because the law of Moses at that time was still in effect and their authority was still accepted. Paul clearly states that it was made obsolete.

      And that's exactly why Paul was an apostate and a false Apostle , he spoke in clear opposition to Yeshua and The Law and Prophets

    • @rickfisk
      @rickfisk Рік тому

      @koreyoneal2623 Jesus said he came to fulfill the law. In fulfilling it, he made it obsolete. Paul wasn't the only one who said this. James and Peter and everyone at the Jerusalem council agreed that the new covenant was in effect, including the Gentiles, and provided a new way to enter into the kingdom that was common now to everyone. There was no apostasy but for those who clung to the old law. Finally, God destroyed the physical temple and those who rejected the Messiah, making it literally impossible to keep the old law and obtain justification under it. It can't be kept. There is no such thing as a Torah keeper. Such persons do not exist.

      @@rickfisk Yeshua's brother James The Just made the final decision in Acts 15 . Most people stop at verse 20 , when we read verses 20 and 21 together , what we come up with is James saying that new converts should start with four basic requirements as not to overwhelm them and when they attend Sabbath each week they'll learn the rest of The Law of Moses and what applies to foreigners/sojourners/gentiles .
      Acts 15:19-21 KJV
      19)Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God:
      20)But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
      21)For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day"
      Fulfill doesn't mean to "do away with" , especially when He just got done saying that He didn't come to abolish The Law or The Prophets . Is there anything in here that sounds like The Law was decreased or done away with ??? :
      Matthew 5:17-22 KJV
      17)"THINK NOT THAT I AM COME TO DESTROY THE LAW , OR THE PROPHETS: I AM NOT COME TO DESTROY , BUT TO FULFILL.
      18)For verily I say unto you, Till HEAVEN AND EARTH PASS , ONE JOT OR ONE TITTLE SHALL IN NO WISE PASS FROM THE LAW, TILL ALL BE FULFILLED .
      19)Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
      20)For I say unto you, That EXCEPT YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS SHALL EXCEED THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF THE SCRIBES AND PHARISEES, YE SHALL IN NO CASE ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.
      21)Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
      22)But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire."
      I could have capitalized all of the verse in actuality and I could have copied and pasted more , you should read beyond where I left off , basically Yeshua said that you can "enter Heaven maimed or hell whole"

      Just read it yourself. It is there and the Hebrew is equal to the Greek (or English).
      I see your problem since strangely enough in the Acts nobody EVER follows this direct command.
      Therefore we can conclude that even this is not the original version.
      Yet it clarifies a few things.
      You should also check out the old Aramaic version.
      You will learn there are some rare places where the Greek (and English) is clearly wrong.
      In case you don't want or can't learn Aramaic, Greek, ''''''''hebrew (Latin, Arabic, etc)
      there are English translations available where these undisputable errors have corrected.
      Although, the cases are so rare that they are easier to read and memorise than, say, Lamentations.

      The phrase indicates authority and character, not words to be said. We baptize by God's authority, and in the name of any is in the name of God because God is one.

    I can understand why you would find it extremely difficult to abandon the law, even with your admiration of Jesus. But the law was made primarily for Jesus. To be perfectl in the flesh and thus destroy the false accusation (devil) in eden and defeat death. (The penalty of this devil) and inherit life and be the promised seed of Abraham to sit on the throne of David and establish God's kingdom on earth. The law IS Jesus! It perfectly describes him. He didn't destroy it, he accomplished it, it's purpose fulfilled.

      +smokeybirdman, So does this mean if I do something that you and I are supposed to do for ourselves, that I fulfill it for both of us? And you never have to do it yourself? If I take a shower does that suffice for both of us? So you don't need to take a shower because I did it for you, you are clean because I am clean! (The world would save a lot of energy heating water that way). What if I build a house and live in it then you don't need a house because I am fulfilling that for you. Yes Jesus fulfilled the Law and showed us what we should be able to do IN HIM. and through him, but still impossible to not sin without HIM but he showed us that it is POSSIBLE TO DO WITH HIM. Otherwise Jesus told a lot of people to go and sin no more without there being anyway for them to do what he told them. That would make Jesus completely insincere or a liar.

    • @smokeybirdman
      @smokeybirdman 8 років тому

      +MyShepherdLeadsMe your reasoning is poor and unreasonable. just ask yourself why you die, according to the law. Perhaps you'll answer your silly question.

    • @MyShepherdLeadsMe
      @MyShepherdLeadsMe 8 років тому

      I die because Adam sinned and through one man Sin entered the world.Jesus died for our sins, does not mean that we are to just continue to sin because of Grace. And we still have a fallen world but Jesus did not come to abolish the law. He came to abolish the additional oral laws that we were never meant to adhere to that the Rabi added on top of the law/ teaching. The word has been mistranslated. But to say that God fulfill the Law so therefore no more are we supposed to do what any of says is ludicrous. Our laws used to include all of the 10 commandments for example. Do not murder, Do not steal. God's Law was about keeping us safe, morally and spiritually, the same as our Country has laws that are about keeping us safe. We are all safer when we all follow God's morals and spiiritual guidance, HE made us HE Knows best for us
      .

    Nehemiah. In Matthew 23:23, Yeshua says to the Pharisee that he should've continued tithing in that rather tedious manner w/out neglecting deeper social issues. He never criticizes that Pharisee for his tithing habits (Oral Tradition) in the first place. - So while Jesus does indeed say "Karaite" things and was probably sympathetic, 23:23 is a validation that the Greek 23:1-3 is correct. I'm sorry, but a big chunk of your advocacy of Shem Tov Hebrew Matthew is invalid.

      Always look at the point of the conversations.
      It was not for you or your claims, but answer to the problem at hand.
      I'm fully aware that you do not want to see.
      To the others I say:
      Look at the context. It's not about the details in tithing at all,
      but about them forgetting the great commands to love other people.

    Also, Nehemiah. In the Gospels, Jesus seems to heal with a word or heal by a touch. He doesn't do "either or" all the time. Can you explain why? - I can. Its b/c he does not want to offend the local religious leaders and or Pharisees and their customs by healing in the "wrong way." So again, while Yeshua was sympathetic to the Karaite cause, to divorce him from the Oral Law is a mistake on your part.

    • @smokeybirdman
      @smokeybirdman 10 років тому +1

      Nonsense. He detested the Talmudic Jews, and wasn't shy to let them know., with their MAN MADE laws. Oral law, more like Chinese whispers

    • @pekkle007
      @pekkle007 10 років тому

      When Jesus talked to the Pharisee who tithed seeds in a rather tedious manner that was unnecessary, He didn't ridicule that Pharisee for that and actually affirmed his actions. He tells him he should keep doing that without neglecting social issues. If Jesus had an agenda against the Talmud, don't you think he would've said something like, "Why do u feel the need to tithe like that? The Torah doesn't command u to do this. So stop." - But notice that Jesus says the opposite.

    • @pekkle007
      @pekkle007 10 років тому

If Many Jews of His day, on ressurection will see Avraham, Issac and Yacov in the kingdom but they will be cast out where there will be weeping and nashing of teeth...Did Jesus do this because He loves, or detests them?

    • @pekkle007
      @pekkle007 10 років тому

      There is a 3rd way to look at this. Jesus is neither condemning or affirming in that passage. He is simply stating the future of those who reject Him. It is not religious commentary, but rather a prediction.

    Yeshua is the proper name, from language to language will never change from Yeshua to jesus, example. Toyota, Honda, Obama, and Trump their names will never change through all the world. Acts 4:12 Only the name of Yeshua can save mankinds. A man can't server two masters at the same time. If you say and teach Yeshua and jesus to us, which is the true name from the father, and who is the true Mashiach?

      What is the name of the King of the bottomless pit brother? I would argue that his name is "Destroyer" or maybe even "Apollo" in English, but in Hebrew it's Abaddon and in Greek it's Apollyon. It seems that our Father disagrees that a proper name is the same from language to language. While I agree that His name is Yeshua in Hebrew, I would argue that our Father differs names based on the language that you are using. which in this case we are communicating in English, so his name is Jesus. I guess you could also argue that His name in English is also Joshua, or even a more strict translation of Yeshua in English would be, "Salvation", for He shall save His people.

      because he was from NAZARATH ---Matthew 2:23
      And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.
      It has nothing to do with what type of Jew he was or what he believed . It was just his geographic location.
