In addition to how well you prepared the dish, the recipe was shot and edited beautifully and the background music is soft and sweet💗
finally some vegan egg recipes that actually look like they’ll taste as golden as they look (i’m tired of tofu eggs haha) can’t wait to try this at breakfast
Awesome recipe, just commenting to boost your channel. I'm going to try this sometime and add kala namak, picked up some mung dal at an Indian market. Cheaper than using Just Egg!
Thank you so much. We hope you'll like it as much as we do. :)
How plain and easy is this ! Loving your recipes ❣️❣️❣️
Thank you, Sanjana. ❣️
Beautiful!
I'll definitely be trying this soon.
It cooks better in smaller batches
WOW ! I love you ! Thank you so much !!! :))
Looks great.
Suggestion: Can you try dishes with different kind of sauses and all, that'll be really fun to try
Thank you, that's a great idea. We'll def come up with some readymade sauces/condiments-based recipes. Thanks for watching! :)
Looks nice
What measurements of the beans to water ratio is being used please?
Is it doughy?
Not at all. It's actually very fluffy. 😊
Without nutritional yeast?
Hi Ketaki, sorry I didn't get you. :(
@@veganbell can we make this without nutritional yeast too?
Oh yes, absolutely! : )
@@veganbell will it like reduce the cheesy flavor or something?
You're right. It won't have the same cheesy 'oomph' as it does with the nutritional yeast, unfortunately. But that shouldn't mean it will taste bad or anything. We tried it without using the nooch and it tasted just fine. Just make sure you serve it alongside some form of side dishes - like we did here with the tangy roasted cherry tomatoes and sautéed green beans. :)
how much water did you add?
Hi, I used 300 ml. Around 1 + 1/4 cup.
But these mung beans are yellow
I can't find mung beans yellow. All I found is green flour of mung beans.
you have to ask for split beans aka daal ... ask for moong daal without skins
May I ask what song this is?
Hi, I'm so sorry. I tried searching it on my library but couldn't find. 😢
I used it from Artlist - if that helps.
Do You Ever Wonder, by Sleepaway Camp
It's too thick!
Sorry, it looks like a porridge. The best must be cooked in small portions. I have seen better recipes available then this one. Probably just a "copy cat"...😂😂😂
Hi, it doesn't look like porridge to me. And the texture is certainly not porridge-like. Its fluffy and soft.
Thanks for watching!
You are awesome and so is this recipe! Subscribed, excited to see more!
Thank you, Albert. :)
YESSS!!!
I have to go vegan and I LOVE eggs. Just egg is soo expensive. Thank you!
You're welcome. Thanks for watching! 😊
Looks so yummy 😋
Would this work if I bought mung bean starch?
Hi. I have never used mung bean starch so I can't say for sure. Sorry! :(
I love kitchardi… so this moong dal scramble looks delicious
If you blend it... do you really have to soak it? wouldn't it hydrate anyway while blending? is it possible to skip it making it much faster ?
Hi. Soaking helps when you're blending the dal - specially if you have a low-power blender. I've noticed that it also helps with the digestion. You don't need to soak mung dal for a long time - even 10-15 minutes is enough. Thanks for watching! :)
IMO--soaking helps to neutralize the bean flavor-since the batter is not pre cooked.
Great process video!!
Thank you, Annie. :)
this is not scramble ... it is locho ... non-surti locho
