Has anyone read 'Explaining The Unexplained' by Eysenck and Sergant? He is a brave and controversial intellectual. If you haven't read it, you might find your materialistic world view - though not obliterated - will be somewhat changed.
@@jammydodger1277 as far as I understand, the under active nervous system in extroversion leads to them acting in a thrill seeking manner. However, in terms on neuroticism, their resting nervous system is under aroused when in mundane situations but due to their extroversion, they put themselves in threatening situations then individuals overreact in said situations due to their instability. Obviously it’s not a very scientific theory and in reality, makes little sense.
Hello, in your videos the AO1 you mention is that all you need for a 16 marker? When we learn it in school the AO1 is so much heavier and hard to understand such as linking to autonomic nervous system for different personality traits and your videos are definitely helping in understanding these concepts.
Ive found my teachers teach me more than I need to know and you need to streamline it to fit it into the timing of writing a 16 marker just pick the bits you are most confident on to be the focus of your essay :)

You said introverts have “chronically under-aroused nervous system” that’s wrong
what's the correct answer?
@@haze1119 introverts have an over aroused nervous system so they don't socialize in order to reduce their arousal
@@haze1119 its over-aroused nervous system for introverts
