Understanding Baton Pass is going to be very important for your effectiveness in fights going forward. I don't want to backseat, but a few pointers below on combat and baton passes if you're interested. Baton Passes are all about chaining together your opponent's weaknesses with your strengths, and its usually to your benefit to do it whenever you can to deny enemies as many turns as you can. When you pass, consider the known weaknesses of your opponents and who is able to exploit them. For example, Morgana was passing to Ryuji every time there was a Bicorn last alive bc it is vulnerable to Ryuji's electricity, and every time a flower guy was alive he'd pass it to Ann so she could hit it with fire. You also cannot Baton Pass to someone who you already passed to on that turn. Ideally you want to pass the baton across the whole party for the best benefits. You can also use items that deal damage to help: for example, you could knock down an enemy who's weak to fire as Ryuji by having him use a molotov cocktail, then baton pass to Ann to cook the enemy with her damage-boosted fire skills. Skills and guns usually do more damage than normal attacks, especially if you exploit a weakness. Normal attacking is usually a last resort, or something you do to weak enemies to conserve your SP points. Physical and gun attacks have the additional advantage of having a chance to be a Critical Hit which immediately knocks down the enemy, which is something to consider if you want to knock the enemy but don't know their weakness or can't hit it. For the guns, there is rarely a reason for you to stop shooting once you've started since you've already dedicated the turn. You get your ammo back every fight, so if you fire 4/8 of Joker's bullets, unless you need those bullets later in the same fight for some reason, you might as well fire the rest. Everyone's gun has a different balance of damage to ammo supply, and its important to note that Ann has a lot of bullets but cannot target a specific enemy.
Kawakami dissociating over a terrible life? Man, you really nailed it, but that comes up later, so put a pin in it. I do like the idea of Kawakami being so done with things that not every conversation, especially ones with Kamoshida, really registers.
First of all great video as always! When I saw this video I had to click immediately. Secondly, to continue a baton pass you have to hit a not-yet-downed enemy with a weakness. Hence why Morgana would pass to someone and then it'd end. That said, I fully respect the conserving SP hussle.
You know what's cool about Ann's persona is that Carmen is based on a character from an opera femme fatale first and the mask on Carmen supposed to represent Catwoman
There are so many good improvements in this version compared to the original one. For example, ammunition used to be limited on a per Palace visit. If you emptied your charger, tough luck, you're out until you leave the Palace and come back (loosing a day). Now with infinite ammo replenishing each fight, it makes MP management way easier.
I'm definitely enjoying this and I hope you keep it going! I'm autistic and add and the timer scared me at first too but it's honestly a lot less restrictive than it seems, it's less a deadline and more of a "the story has to move on by this date so please don't just sit around and not finish the objective" lol Like, you can totally get to the treasure WAYYYY before the end of the timer if you try lol Don't stress! You won't brick your game because you go on too many dates with ryuji ;p In all seriousness, thank you for continuing this! It's somehow a very cozy vibe? I'm really enjoying it and can't wait to see more!
So glad that you are loving this game Lucy! 😊 it always amazes me how great this first chapter of the game and I hope you have time to keep playing it, great work as always 🥰
@LucyusMaximus see if you can get through the palace in one go. Switching targets when they fall is a good way to trigger a hold up. There's also a guide to talk to shadows, since there are different ways to get them on your side. Also, take your time outside. Spend time with confidants, get part time jobs, get skills, read books, all that stuff. Also, you need to get three specific confidants to their highest rank before the year ends for the true ending. They're further in the game, so I won't spoil them. Hopefully, someone will point them out as you progress. Also, there's a romance options too with all the female confidants. And, if you work it, there's a cheaters ending where you romance ALL of them at the same time.
Ok, sooo two weeks to stop this monster and not get expelled. We can pull that off, right? 🫠

Appreciate the tips!
Lucy: "Thats inappropriate! Lol"
Also Lucy: -buys whip- "ah yes.... my old friend"

🤣🤣🤣
This game is so huge, its unreal how much it expands, like you are basically still in the tutorial. Persona is something else
Yeah it seems like it! Still surprised how long the tutorial is. Most games have a bit at the beginning then are like "Ok, figure it out!"

It's been fun so far!
Damn, i am hooked on this series now, part 5 when? :D
I'm hoping to get back to streaming it again soon!
@@LucyusMaximus Yay, thank you!
The gloves that everyone is wearing represents the Power Rangers (Super Sentai). Joker wears red, meaning he's the leader.
My inner child is happy with the Power Rangers reference 💥

Not sure if I'm missing something, but it seems like the in-game day when you talk to Takemi, 4/16, is missing between parts 3 and 4
I'm surprised you didn't go for agathion that's the story option
