Let us never forget when Sly mentioned to Tennessee that he could hear his friend talking to him in his head, Tennessee mentioned he also has voices in his head, usually telling him to blow stuff up. I LOVE this raccoon ya'll. I'm so happy Go West Young Raccoon made number 1 on this list. It's my fave too, and Tennessee is my absolutely fave ancestor as well.

Personally the moment when Murray got "benched" I saw it as him feeling his usefulness to the gang was waning and that the the only time he felt useful in that episode was coaching Bob to end up having the guy he just coached take over hurt his pride. I also personally didn't care too much for them making it be between those two when in Sly 3 Bentley had modified Sly's cane to scale walls of ice exactly like those but made him unable to in this one just felt like they were limiting him more to make room for the ancestors.
The way the ancestors abilities were utilized in some parts did give rise to questions, like how come Sly couldn't use his canes to climb? Yeah I can agree on that part.

Or, maybe because it’s Japan and anything Japanese is an automatic win without reason. Note: I think Japanese games or games set in feudal Japan is overrated!
Thinking on it, Tennessee's the ONLY ancestor that doesn't get the "is annoying/confusing to a Cooper Gang member" treatment like the others got. Which probably helped a LOT in giving him some characterization since they didn't seem as intent to make running gags out of him (especially compared to Salim).
This is the best conversation for me, out of the whole game. 12:35 This is one of the times, we actually see Carmelite flirting back with Sly, and Bobs face expression at the end shows he was just figuring this out. 🤣
Go west going raccoon was definitely my favourite out of all the episodes! Tennessee is awesome since he was first seen back in sly 2 and you learn the ride side from him after beating Muggshot right? But really it was just so funny that way Carmelita just gets thrown into the mix! The way she did that comic book narration scene! Pure genius! Lol

Although I can’t help to feel they overdid it a bit in 4. Sanzaru definitely played with the idea a bit too much. Like episodes 1 and 5 have 3, 2, 3 and 4 have 4 each but 2 of them are done by Carmelita. They could’ve cut back a little bit right?
Okay I’m not up to your number 4 ranking yet, but I can tell you put a lot of thought and effort into each one. The pacing never feels like it’s dragging out and not overextending the point. Great work Vivi! Great work indeed!
I’m actually one of the people who didn’t skip to 2:25 and there definitely wasn’t a bad episode at all out of the main 5. All were vastly unique, diverse and different, but the third one in the stage one is that only one that feels like weird and out of place. That’s probably my least favourite of them all but that’s just my opinion anyway.

@@ethantidlund6388 because all they were was a series of moments rehashed from the og trilogy. Its just okay, but it doesnt expand on the gameplay any further than making the map sizes unmanageable.
Silenced Carnage The game doesn’t completely rehash missions in fact a lot of the missions are all there own with only some similarities. The train mission in sly 4 is only comparable to the train mission in Sly 2 in the fact that they both take place on a train. IMO they are both fun missions in different ways. Sly 2’s train mission for it RC chopper sections and Sly 4’s train mission for its verity and boss fight.
Solid ranking- I agree, I don't dislike ANY of these episodes and can never decide my favourite. Also, I'm shocked that a lot of people didn't see the Penelope reveal coming. They specifically bring Penelope up at the beginning of the episode and the villain is called the BLACK KNIGHT. One of the loading screen hints reminds us that Penelope once disguised herself as the BLACK BARON. I was pretty sure it was going to happen as soon as I saw the name of the enemy for that episode.
One thing I would like to point out is that Clock-Werk appears several times in this game. You just have to know we're to spot him. *For example:* he appears on the left side of the screen at 5:55.
1. Go West Young Raccoon - When people diss this game I always point out this episode. I consider this episode to easily be in the same league as Sly 2 and Sly 3’s best episodes. Pretty much every mission was amazing and Sly’s ancestor easily became a favorite character of mine for the franchise. This episode definitively has my favorite open world of the game. 2. Of Mice and Mechs - I actually really liked the Penelope plot twist and enjoyed the open world immensely. The suit was very fun to use. I actually remember trying to snipe enemies from a distance just cause I thought it would be fun (and it was). This was an open world I enjoyed wandering around in and is my second favorite open world. 3. Turning Japanese - A strong opening for the game. The open world was fun but not one I would go back to with much frequency. 4. Thieves - This level was fun to play through and had my third favorite open world to run around in. 5. Clan of the Cave Raccoon - Honestly this is easily the least favorite of the levels. I really did not like this open world. It was a chore to run around for the clue bottles. This is also the most boring of the ancestors in my opinion.
Good rankings and here's my honest answer about all the villains in Sly Cooper 4 Thieves in Time. All the villains: El Jefe, Toothpick, The Grizz, Penelope, Miss Decibel and Le Paradox are absolute monsters.
She should have been turned into an antiheroine or something like that. Maybe she and the gang could have had some differences or even a small conflict on how to handle a situation, but turning her into a maniac villain didn't make sense in my opinion.
You know I kind of had a feeling you’d put of mice and mechs as number 1, but then again I can’t say I’m surprised. The whole Penelope betrayal is still so weird, even to this day. After the character we see her as in sly 3 originally.
Who is your favourite playable character in the sly series overall? I gotta say I loved playing as panda king in sly 3. Using the fireworks was so awesome!!

Sly Cooper 4 is a great game, but I had a few issues with the game, not in terms of art direction and dialogue aside from the gameplay mechanics, it’s the actions. In Go Young West Raccoon, we know that Carmelita misunderstood about the time travel situation and Sly was about to tell her that he had nothing to do with Le Paradox and Bentley sort of didn’t support Sly when Carmelita tells him to save the talk for later. I mean yes, Bentley needs to know how Carmelita ended up in the Old West and one thing he should’ve done is comfort Sly because he should be looking out for his friends including Sly. In Of Mice and Mechs, when Bentley was absent because of Penelope betraying the Gang, we know that Carmelita took over the chalk board talk and didn’t even let Sly talk and Galleth supported Carmelita and Murray didn’t do anything but watch the conversation, plus he should’ve supported Sly during the chalkboard talk for the mission. But until the end of 40 Thieves, we did know that Carmelita changed her attitude over Sly when she was captured and she was about to apologize to Sly for treating him rudely and telling him how she feels. The episodes I like in Sly 4 is the Japanese Episode, Prehistoric Episode, and Arabia Episode. What I like about Sly 4 is the new Art direction, how the environments are rendered, the new upgrades, and the dialogues & voice acting. What I don’t like in Sly 4 is the gameplay mechanics, some of the bad actions from the gang, playing as Murray but not Sly and Bentley when you’re fighting bad guys, and most of all, the ending.
You’ve got a very good point about Penelope and how she used to be that black baron in sly 3. I think if the original developers at sucker punch had made sly 4 they definitely could’ve done a lot more with her betrayal. Do you agree too Vivi?
The First Time was... Operation Moon Crush in Sly 3 (Operaatio Kuuntuho in Finnish) when Murray dressed into Moon Spirit or something? The reason why i write Episode names and missions in Finnish? Because I'm Finnish.
So yeah; just like with the other chapters in the other games, I'm pretty much going to be ranking all these based on the hub world design, atmosphere, story, villain and jobs that are in these. I was debating on whether or not to include the Paris one but there's so little in that one that I honestly won't even bother. So from worst to best(all posted in the reply I made to this one because it was too much to fit into one comment);
Clan Of The Cave Raccoon - The overworld here is pretty gigantic ... which is one issue with this chapter, it's too big to the point where it takes up a lot more time then needed when going from point A to point B and this is especially an issue when you consider the jobs that are tackled here. We get a recon job at the start which is fine and all, then a job where you're busting out Caveman Cooper, a brand new ancestor that was never at all brought up at all in any of the previous games unlike the other four in this game, and I guess this was their way of adding to the overall lore of the series though it is unfortunate that his jobs only ever mainly include climbing ice walls which make no sense, like why not get Sly onto that shit? We've seen him do this before in the 2nd game so I think it would've made more sense getting him do this. Though there's not really much done with him outside of that which is pretty disappointing. We do get an workout montage job with him but I've never really enjoyed that one, most of the mini games there are pretty repetitive and boring and the SIXAXIS one is easily the worst one there. Other jobs include tailing ol' Grizzle B around the hub as well as chasing penguins around the hub, both of which best represent a lot of the issues this hub design suffers from. And as for Grizz himself, he's not really much of a villain that makes me care enough about this hub and the same also applies to Murray's arc where he starts feeling immediately worthless as soon as he fails ONE job and gets replaced by the guy that he just trained ... uh, I'm sorry but was this really not the whole point of training him in the first place?? We also get the Sabretooth costume here which let's you pounce across large distance which is cool I suppose but we also get the ability to crawl around undetected, even in front of guards which would've been super cool if there were jobs based around this but we never get the chance for that which makes me wonder if this design was even intentional. Overall a chapter that has very little to enjoy for me. Go West Young Raccoon - Not as massive of an overworld as Clan Of The Cave Raccoon but it kind of suffers from a different issue, that being how compacted it all feels, like it feels like a whole massive western town smashed into a smaller town which doesn't leave me as interested as I was hoping. We get the Jailbird costume which doesn't make a whole lot of sense, like it gives you the ability to roll around on the ball as well as toss it at any weak structures but it's weird that you'd need a costume for that, as for the ability itself, eh, not really something I'm interested in. We also get Tennessee's Gameplay which involves shooting as well as his crack shot ability which is the dead eye move from Red Dead, a nice change to the normal Sly Gameplay but gun combat with him is too easy for my liking, especially with that special ability that lets you take down enemies in one shot each which doesn't have much of a limit, kind of breaking combat in general. As for the jobs; not many I can consider memorable. We have Bentley doing recon instead of Sly in this chapter since he's been arrested which is something I do like, the fact that the jobs can affect what characters you can play as in the hubs which is present in a few other chapters as well, but back on the jobs, we get the tapper one where you serve sarsaparilla and sneak past enemies in a bar, it's an alright one, we get to chase the coach as Tennessee to save Carmelita, that one was pretty thrilling I will admit. We also get to play as Carmelita in this chapter, more times then any other in the game so we get some fun action with her in the rescue mission for the gang, a tedious target contest as well as escorting Bentley in the heist which is probably the most we'll ever get of her at all. And as for Toothpick, a villain that's really not threatening and is overall pretty annoying all things consider. Overall a chapter that's not really bad but not really a whole lot for me to find enjoyment out of. Forty Thieves - This hub world is pretty good, nice visuals, atmosphere and you get to ride a carpet around as all characters across a small part of the hub which is nice(except for Murray though for whatever reason). We get Salim who's whole stick is being cranky which I do like because he's pretty much just desperate to retire, kind of like Sly was after the 3rd game, I just wished they did more with that idea and have him and Sly interact more about that. As for his Gameplay though, he has the ability to ascend or descend vertically on pipes, ropes, ladders and such at high speed which is an amazing ability on it's own but it's pretty pointless to even have that when the costume you get in this exact chapter, the Thief costume gives you the ability to slow down time which creates the exact same effect for when you're climbing yourself, I'd have probably removed the costume's ability in this one just because with it in the game and chapter, Salim's ability feels more like an afterthought. As for jobs; some good ones here that were enjoyable like searching for Salim with the binocuucom's upgrade that Bentley gave it, playing as Salim in his jobs were also enjoyable despite the fact that you can just replace him with Sly now that he can slow time down, though there are some jobs that can drag the experience down like with the one where you're using the turret twice as Murray, piloting the chopper as Bentley which is worse then how it was handled in the previous two games, the heist where you're playing as Carmelita in a QTE involving SIXAXIS again. And as for the villain in this chapter, not irritating as Toothpick but somewhat uninspired and doesn't look or feel like an intimidating threat either. So overall; this chapter has it's issues but a little more to enjoy for me here. Of Mice And Mechs(originally named Holy Grail Robin) - This chapter I actually enjoyed quite a lot despite a few of the issues here. Hub world is separated into different sections kind of like the previous two games which was fantastic to see again and the atmosphere was spot on too. After doing an decent fetch quest, you get the Archer costume which is a really great costume and how these costumes should all be handled since you still have most of the same moves as normal minus a few and the extra ability to launch arrows to create more tightropes to walk across, you also get special blue arrows that you can just launch at enemies for the fun of it ... just not in this specific chapter though for whatever reason. But yeah, overall an extension to Sly's moveset which is more then can be said for Sir Galleth who has the catapult crash technique that's essentially the hook spring manoeuvre from past games but Galleth's sections, you get a few barriers to crash through and can evidently go higher which is all untrue since Sly can do all that himself with his move, just not in this specific chapter because they decided to nerf it for the sake of making Galleth look special which is really lame to think about. But those issues aside; the jobs themselves are pretty interesting, any section where you play as Sly is great because of the aforementioned Archer costume, Galleth get's his fair share of sections as well and despite what I brought up earlier, I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy his jobs where you're climbing, especially with how timing plays into those instances. You also get more hacking here then in other stages and they're all pretty good (except for Spark Runner which you need the SIXAXIS for again), you get Murray for one job which kind of sucks that we didn't get more of his Gameplay, same goes for Bentley too and they're both pretty great sections that use their respective Gameplay styles well. Oh yeah and Carmelita gets her own against a boss, easily the best Carmelita section in the whole game. And even though Penelope being the villain herself here still doesn't mash up well with her pre-established character in the 3rd game, she's still a better villain then the actual main villain of the game himself which is probably the best thing I can say about her here. But yeah, a lot to enjoy in this chapter for me, was close to being my favourite if not for the issues brought up as well as what my favourite chapter in the game does. Turning Japanese - Hub world; pretty great atmosphere as well as visuals. You get the samurai costume which feels like a better version of the disguises of the 3rd game since you don't need passwords to get past every guard in the vicinity and you get to withstand flames whilst wearing it and deflect fireballs, so yeah, this costume whilst limiting in moveset is great. As for Rioichi, you get the leaping dragon technique which the chapter makes great use of most of the time in the jobs you play as him in which is also great. As for the jobs themselves; recon is good, rescuing was good too, breaking in to the restaurant and geisha house were both good too(though I could do without the QTE here as well but I'm more lenient on it here since no SIXAXIS), playing as Murray in the fishing caves was also nice for atmosphere (although once again, SIXAXIS), and I especially enjoyed using the RC Car in Bentley's only job here, since the disguise feature adds more depth to it that I can't really complain about. And as for the heist itself; I like that you need to apply significant rotational torque to the machine wheels to achieve maximum velocity to yield positive results just like in the 1st chapter of the 1st game, that was a nice call back to that game. And as for the villain; well whilst he doesn't have a whole lot of personality involved, he felt more serious for me to take a villain then any of the other ones in the game so yeah. Overall a chapter with very little for me to really complain about, at least when compared to the other chapters, hence it being my favourite in the whole game.

Lots of things you brought are things I would also bring up in a ''review'' planned for later, like how certain moves could've been used by Sly alone and just for the sake of ancestors they ignore that fact. Bob's episode could've been replaced by Henriette let's say, yeah I felt Bob could've been scrapped altogether. The ice climbing could've been Sly's thing as he's done it before. The thief costume I also agree. The problem of Sly 4, well one of them is how they utilized the ancestors.

This game should’ve been more ambitious than what it was already was! We should’ve gotten 10 episodes, 10 ancestors but drag out the villain arcs by two episodes each similar to sly 2 band of thieves. Oh what could’ve been don’t you agree Vivi?!!
Is this through final ever video you’ll ever do on sly cooper overall? It really felt like it was in a lot of ways! You really know to end things with a bang am I right? Never stop doing what you do Vivi cause you’re the best at it!
Okay VIVI really solid list overall. I had a feeling this was going to be long and ambitious since all the other sly cooper ranking episodes weren’t as involving. But this is just so unique in how it handles the ancestors and their different gameplay styles. You could almost do a seperate video for that one it’s own because that’s how much there is to discuss. Each environment definitely felt different and not one being too similar to the other. If a proper 5th gene sequel was made I would love for 5 more ancestors to be tackled, include slytunkahemen who was supposedly dropped from this game apparently right? Overall this game did start the downfall of the sly cooper series in a sense since there was a lot more potential and ambition behind it. But personally I feel as though if another game in the series were to get made learn from the mistakes of this one. PS. I just find it to be a really funny coincidence you put number 5 forty thieves, which is episode 5 funny enough. Lol
A standalone video on ancestors is something I've been thinking about! Like go more in-depth in the capabilities and all that. There's some criticism I left out for this exact reason.
My favorite thing about Sly 4, was using Ratchet's Omiwrench, and getting bolts. That and how Sly 4 had nods to the past 3 games, as well as References to 3 other games.
I love sir galleth Cooper. He’s my favourite out of all the ancestors. He’s voiced by the prince of Persia himself, Yuri Lowenthal! If that’s not awesome I don’t know what is!
You honestly do bring up a very good with Murray in clan of the cave raccoon. He really felt so different in that game compared to 3 after the whole clockwork incident with Bentley in sly 2. He was trying to go back to the way he was before all that. But you gotta admit it’s pretty funny the way you start that mission and he’s trying to climb the walls and Bentley says “Murray I’m sure you could do it but the problem is we just don’t have time. Get bob over here so we can get started already.” Made for some great comedy. Also a coincidence how he fights the boss of that level am I right? Grizz...
When I replayed this recently, I was using my USB controller that doesn't support SixAxis, so I had to swap controllers every time it was required. My dualshocks have bad batteries and worn charging ports
I just had a thought about one of your videos you posted. What if Sly is the True creator of the Thievious Raccoonus, and told Slytunkhamen to not mention him + to give himself credit for him to by the creator. Same for the other Ancestors what if Sly or Bentley told them to not mention the gang.
Vivi I am so close to getting the first 3 sly cooper games back on ps2. The PS3 HD trilogy just don’t do anything for me anymore. I mean they’re not bad but feel rushed out and really only used to promote thieves in time. You get what I mean at all?
I love each of the unique costumes sly got in each episode. My favourite one being the jailbreak prison costume from go west young raccoon. Because it doesn’t fit that overall theme of that level. What do you think overall?
I really hope one day they make a remastered port of this game and the others for PS4/PS5. If anything, just to fix the load times. The PS5 makes faster load times for some if not most PS4 games, so to have it do the same for this game would be nice.
I Episode 2 was my favorite too. Tennessee brought something new to the table with the option to beat the guards with your cane or have a gun fight with them or sit back and use the trick shot to pluck them off. You can get a special combo with Tennessee when preformed properly Tennessee will shoot a powerful shot at the enemy which will instantly kill them. Toothpick was a funny boss with him waving a gun around with the safety off. When got into his giant form it reminded me of the incredible hulk, it's a shame he didn't use his gun in his boss fight. Out of all the bosses in this game Toothpick was the only one that died which was pretty dark. The ending to episode 2 is a reference to Back to the Future 3, In the movie the bridge wasn't finished and in Sly 4 the bridge was out. I think the Cooper gang met an younger version of Tennessee, in the mission when he gets his cane back he said that he used to have two shooting irons and he downgraded to one which is a rifle in the cinematic cutscenes it's a revolver with a wooden handle. In his wanted poster he has a revolver with a golden handle, this is him years later down the line after becoming a legend. His younger self is still trying to make a name for himself by choosing which gun suits him better and slowly gaining outlaw cred and he has toothpick in his mouth. Years later he takes up smoking and grows a mustache and ditches his rifle (revolver) for his signature revolver. The cigars he smokes are expensive which makes sense after all of his robberies he likes to treat himself.
Episdoe 2 is my favorite for the same reason it's your favorite. Sir Galleth is my favorite Ancestor but Tennessee Kid is my favorite to play as (and a close 2nd favorite thx to this game). Gothic and Snow themes are my peanut butter and jelly to my sandwich but the Classic Old West in the desert is just as nice to be in. And like you, I love that crack shot mechanic too. It's pretty much Red Dead Redemption's Dead Eye mechanic that it took inspiration from, and Red Dead Redemption is one of my all time favorite series. This episode, despite its flaws, is pretty much the perfect world to explore in Sly 4. Easily in my top 5 of my all time favorite Sly Cooper maps. As for least favorite... Probably Ancient Arabia cuz I didn't care for the Ancestor and the frames were not nice in that level. But boy was it beautiful. And I'm in the same boat. I didn't mind Penelope's betrayal, but it did kind of feel forced to me. Sure we had a factor that she could betray them given her persona as the Black Baron, but there was never any lead up to a betrayal. I feel her betrayal was there out of pure shock value. To catch us off-guard. I don't like things done purely out of shock value.

My personal ranking: 1. Turning Japanese (Beautiful enviroment and interesting story. El Jefe is such a cool villain) 2. Go West, Young Raccoon (Also a fun episode, but I found the Tennessee cane retrieval mission a bit unnessesarily long until you even get the cane. Why is Bentley even disguised? He wilm be busted either way if he is spotted. Toothpick is a great villain.) 3. 40 Thieves (I love the episode design and soundtrack. It is so calming. You can tell that the story begins to become pretty serious as Le Paradox's plot unfolds. Salim, however is a bit uninteresting at times. Mainly because he did not get much screen time, like the other ancestors. Miss Decibel is a boring villain. So boring, that I rank her my second least-favorite villain of both Sly 4 and the series) 4. Of Mice and Mechs (Interesting enviroment and cool gameplay, especially the one where you destroy the shops as Murray, Sly and Galleth. Speaking of Galleth, I found him pretty hilarious in general. The story is alright for the most part, but the Penelope plot twist kills it for me) 5. Clan of the Cave Raccoon (I just cannot stand this episode in many respects. It is my least favorite episode of both Sly 4 and the series. Why? Because the level is tedious to navigate through and the appearance of dinosaurs in 10.000 BC is completely historically inaccurate. They were long extinct by then. I find The Grizz to be my least-favorite villain of both Sly 4 and the series, because his personality seems so unserious, especially when he all of a sudden mentions just wanting to skate, before the boss fight. Murray even lampshades it. Bob is cool enough though, as is his training mission) Well, that is it for the Sly Cooper Episodes Ranked Series..... for now ;)
@@mr.lollypop9752 maybe but until then Sly 3 ending is the real ending to the Sly franchise. There didn’t need to be a Sly 4 as Sly 3 ending involved the gang going their separate ways and living their life dreams and Sly and Carmelita being in a relationship and living happily ever after
I agree with this list expect for the top. I'd put episode 1 1st cuz the level design and missions were my favorite and cuz of Rioichi. I love Japan and ninjas so this was a joy to me the most.
My ranking would be this: 5. Episode 3 - the characters feel very weird here, and the majority of the missions were forgettable, but the landscape is great, and I LOVE the music here. 4. Episode 5 - great level with great music, and the mechanics are pretty awesome too. Missions are, again, forgettable. 3. Episode 1 - Nothing wrong with it, it's a cool starter to the game. Riochi is awesome. 2. Episode 4 - I'm heavily biased with this episode since it's the most nostalgic one for me. I used to play on it quite a lot back in the summer of 2014, which was some of the best times of my life. 1. Episode 2 - literally everything Vivi said, plus the music is amazing.
I really enjoyed this game it was everything I was expecting of course I'm still mad that we may never get sly 5 which should end the series altogether
The world of Sly Cooper overall is full of charming characters, witty dialogue, memorable comic book style narrations. I think it would make a great tv show! Why is it taking forever to come out?!!! Lol
I kinda want a game about either Tennessee Kid Cooper or Rioichi Cooper since they were so fun to play as I even wished that we would get Cooper mode in Ghost of Tsushima that would switch Jin Sakai into Rioichi Cooper I liked Tennessee Kid Cooper because of his attitude and because his Crackshot is so similar to Dead Eye from Red Dead Revolver

But Vivi what do you think of the way time travel works in sly 4. You need to have an artefact from that piece of time in order to travel back to that era. It’s honestly really interesting but a bit gimmicky compared to other media. Although definitely not as complicated as kingdom hearts am I right? Lol
Just thought of this but Gta 5 came out in 2013 as well as sly 4. Why hasnt a 6th come out yet? Maybe vecause they were waiting for the ps5 to release and to get to everyone. Maybe thats the same reason for sly 5 not being released yet.
If I had my ranked list from most to least is 1,2,5,4,3. To me the first two were solid for the most part but both the story as well as the ancestors started to become more... the word I'd use is slippery for how my personal cons started to outweigh my pros to this game as a whole. I'd say them all but it's been awhile since I've played the game and would only replay it again if I wanted to 100% it since the Clockwork Eye (which I got last out of the 5 safes) doesn't show the location of the mask collectables as well with the bottles.
Which female villain do you like more out of mz Ruby and contessa? The only two villains in each the fiendish 5 and the klaww gang. Personally for me it’s contessa. She’s awesome I think! I’m usually not a fan of spiders but she makes them look great! I love her hypnosis ability and the fact that she was a secret member of the klaww gang working for Interpol was mind blowing! Not that mz Ruby isn’t cool but he boss rhythm minigame! Ughhhh!!!
This is a hard one to rank since I love almost everything about this game (except for some aspects which could’ve been better) but I did manage to come up with something. 5. Clan of the Cave Raccoon, what really brings this episode down for me is the getting stronger mission I absolutely hated the mini game with the egg as it’s one of the most frustrating segments in the entire game if it weren’t for the fact that it relied so much on motion controls it wouldn’t have been so bad and this episode probably would be higher on the list. 4. Of Mice and Mechs, I actually like this level a lot I’m kind of a sucker for medieval levels and Sir Galeth is one of my favorite ancestors with Yuri Lowenthals over the top performance and the Penelope twist was an interesting one (though I think it could’ve been handled a lot better) and even though I don’t necessarily mind the archery mini game my only issue with it is that THE OWL NEVER SHUTS UP!!!! I had to turn off the sound just so I could get through it, so that’s really the only thing that brings the episode down for me and why I put it at No.4, if it weren’t for the annoying owl this probably would’ve been No.2 on my list 3. Turning Japanese, honestly I thought this episode was just ok there really isn’t too much about it that stands out as memorable though I do love Sly’s jab at Rajan during the El Jefe boss fight. Other then that this episode is just meh 2. 40 Thieves, what I love about this episode is basically the exploration aspect finding secret passageways and hideouts it feels very immersive and there’s just so much to do here, and to be honest I actually found Salim funny with his little quips on the things he didn’t quite understand he’s kind of like the clueless grandfather in a way, and I thought the suit power was cool. 1. Go West Young Raccoon, this was my favorite episode everything from the missions to the boss fight with Toothpick was just so much fun. Tennessee is a blast to play as and i love Sly’s quips in this episode, this is by far the best episode in the game and that’s why it’s No.1 on my list as well.
My ranking is: 5. Turning Japanese - Most confusing map in all of Sly Cooper history. Decent missions. 4. 40 Thieves - OK map. OK missions. 3. Clan of the Cave Raccoon - Fun map, especially with the catapult, geysers and gliding. OK Missions. 2. Of Mice and Mechs - OK map. Super Fun missions. 1. Go West Young Raccoon - Best map, especially with rail slides, and Super Fun missions.

Let us never forget when Sly mentioned to Tennessee that he could hear his friend talking to him in his head, Tennessee mentioned he also has voices in his head, usually telling him to blow stuff up. I LOVE this raccoon ya'll. I'm so happy Go West Young Raccoon made number 1 on this list. It's my fave too, and Tennessee is my absolutely fave ancestor as well.

Personally the moment when Murray got "benched" I saw it as him feeling his usefulness to the gang was waning and that the the only time he felt useful in that episode was coaching Bob to end up having the guy he just coached take over hurt his pride. I also personally didn't care too much for them making it be between those two when in Sly 3 Bentley had modified Sly's cane to scale walls of ice exactly like those but made him unable to in this one just felt like they were limiting him more to make room for the ancestors.
The way the ancestors abilities were utilized in some parts did give rise to questions, like how come Sly couldn't use his canes to climb? Yeah I can agree on that part.

Thinking on it, Tennessee's the ONLY ancestor that doesn't get the "is annoying/confusing to a Cooper Gang member" treatment like the others got. Which probably helped a LOT in giving him some characterization since they didn't seem as intent to make running gags out of him (especially compared to Salim).

Tennessee is awesome since he was first seen back in sly 2 and you learn the ride side from him after beating Muggshot right? The longer they are the better! The shorter ones are kind of annoying and frustrating with no real depth to them.
Although I can’t help to feel they overdid it a bit in 4. Sanzaru definitely played with the idea a bit too much. Like episodes 1 and 5 have 3, 2, 3 and 4 have 4 each but 2 of them are done by Carmelita. They could’ve cut back a little bit right?

I’m actually one of the people who didn’t skip to 2:25 and there definitely wasn’t a bad episode at all out of the main 5. All were vastly unique, diverse and different, but the third one in the stage one is that only one that feels like weird and out of place. That’s probably my least favourite of them all but that’s just my opinion anyway.

Silenced Carnage The game doesn’t completely rehash missions in fact a lot of the missions are all there own with only some similarities. The train mission in sly 4 is only comparable to the train mission in Sly 2 in the fact that they both take place on a train. IMO they are both fun missions in different ways. Sly 2’s train mission for it RC chopper sections and Sly 4’s train mission for its verity and boss fight.

Solid ranking- I agree, I don't dislike ANY of these episodes and can never decide my favourite.
Also, I'm shocked that a lot of people didn't see the Penelope reveal coming. They specifically bring Penelope up at the beginning of the episode and the villain is called the BLACK KNIGHT. One of the loading screen hints reminds us that Penelope once disguised herself as the BLACK BARON. I was pretty sure it was going to happen as soon as I saw the name of the enemy for that episode.

1. Go West Young Raccoon - When people diss this game I always point out this episode. I consider this episode to easily be in the same league as Sly 2 and Sly 3’s best episodes. Pretty much every mission was amazing and Sly’s ancestor easily became a favorite character of mine for the franchise. This episode definitively has my favorite open world of the game.
2. Of Mice and Mechs - I actually really liked the Penelope plot twist and enjoyed the open world immensely. The suit was very fun to use. I actually remember trying to snipe enemies from a distance just cause I thought it would be fun (and it was). This was an open world I enjoyed wandering around in and is my second favorite open world.
3. Turning Japanese - A strong opening for the game. The open world was fun but not one I would go back to with much frequency.
4. Thieves - This level was fun to play through and had my third favorite open world to run around in.
5. Clan of the Cave Raccoon - Honestly this is easily the least favorite of the levels. I really did not like this open world. It was a chore to run around for the clue bottles. This is also the most boring of the ancestors in my opinion.

Good rankings and here's my honest answer about all the villains in Sly Cooper 4 Thieves in Time. All the villains: El Jefe, Toothpick, The Grizz, Penelope, Miss Decibel and Le Paradox are absolute monsters.
I knew Penelope had a bit of a dark side but I never expected her to go full on super villain.
She should have been turned into an antiheroine or something like that. Maybe she and the gang could have had some differences or even a small conflict on how to handle a situation, but turning her into a maniac villain didn't make sense in my opinion.
I don't know much about the Sly Cooper or the Jak & Daxter series but hey, it's a VTNVIVI Video

You know I kind of had a feeling you’d put of mice and mechs as number 1, but then again I can’t say I’m surprised. The whole Penelope betrayal is still so weird, even to this day. After the character we see her as in sly 3 originally.
Bentley overcoming that was my personal favorite, as he grew more.

Sly Cooper 4 is a great game, but I had a few issues with the game, not in terms of art direction and dialogue aside from the gameplay mechanics, it’s the actions.
In Go Young West Raccoon, we know that Carmelita misunderstood about the time travel situation and Sly was about to tell her that he had nothing to do with Le Paradox and Bentley sort of didn’t support Sly when Carmelita tells him to save the talk for later. I mean yes, Bentley needs to know how Carmelita ended up in the Old West and one thing he should’ve done is comfort Sly because he should be looking out for his friends including Sly.
In Of Mice and Mechs, when Bentley was absent because of Penelope betraying the Gang, we know that Carmelita took over the chalk board talk and didn’t even let Sly talk and Galleth supported Carmelita and Murray didn’t do anything but watch the conversation, plus he should’ve supported Sly during the chalkboard talk for the mission.
But until the end of 40 Thieves, we did know that Carmelita changed her attitude over Sly when she was captured and she was about to apologize to Sly for treating him rudely and telling him how she feels.
The episodes I like in Sly 4 is the Japanese Episode, Prehistoric Episode, and Arabia Episode.
What I like about Sly 4 is the new Art direction, how the environments are rendered, the new upgrades, and the dialogues & voice acting. What I don’t like in Sly 4 is the gameplay mechanics, some of the bad actions from the gang, playing as Murray but not Sly and Bentley when you’re fighting bad guys, and most of all, the ending.

You’ve got a very good point about Penelope and how she used to be that black baron in sly 3. I think if the original developers at sucker punch had made sly 4 they definitely could’ve done a lot more with her betrayal. Do you agree too Vivi?

The First Time was... Operation Moon Crush in Sly 3 (Operaatio Kuuntuho in Finnish) when Murray dressed into Moon Spirit or something? The reason why i write Episode names and missions in Finnish? Because I'm Finnish.
So yeah; just like with the other chapters in the other games, I'm pretty much going to be ranking all these based on the hub world design, atmosphere, story, villain and jobs that are in these. I was debating on whether or not to include the Paris one but there's so little in that one that I honestly won't even bother. So from worst to best(all posted in the reply I made to this one because it was too much to fit into one comment);
Clan Of The Cave Raccoon - The overworld here is pretty gigantic ... which is one issue with this chapter, it's too big to the point where it takes up a lot more time then needed when going from point A to point B and this is especially an issue when you consider the jobs that are tackled here. We get a recon job at the start which is fine and all, then a job where you're busting out Caveman Cooper, a brand new ancestor that was never at all brought up at all in any of the previous games unlike the other four in this game, and I guess this was their way of adding to the overall lore of the series though it is unfortunate that his jobs only ever mainly include climbing ice walls which make no sense, like why not get Sly onto that shit? We've seen him do this before in the 2nd game so I think it would've made more sense getting him do this. Though there's not really much done with him outside of that which is pretty disappointing. We do get an workout montage job with him but I've never really enjoyed that one, most of the mini games there are pretty repetitive and boring and the SIXAXIS one is easily the worst one there. Other jobs include tailing ol' Grizzle B around the hub as well as chasing penguins around the hub, both of which best represent a lot of the issues this hub design suffers from. And as for Grizz himself, he's not really much of a villain that makes me care enough about this hub and the same also applies to Murray's arc where he starts feeling immediately worthless as soon as he fails ONE job and gets replaced by the guy that he just trained ... uh, I'm sorry but was this really not the whole point of training him in the first place?? We also get the Sabretooth costume here which let's you pounce across large distance which is cool I suppose but we also get the ability to crawl around undetected, even in front of guards which would've been super cool if there were jobs based around this but we never get the chance for that which makes me wonder if this design was even intentional. Overall a chapter that has very little to enjoy for me.
Go West Young Raccoon - Not as massive of an overworld as Clan Of The Cave Raccoon but it kind of suffers from a different issue, that being how compacted it all feels, like it feels like a whole massive western town smashed into a smaller town which doesn't leave me as interested as I was hoping. We get the Jailbird costume which doesn't make a whole lot of sense, like it gives you the ability to roll around on the ball as well as toss it at any weak structures but it's weird that you'd need a costume for that, as for the ability itself, eh, not really something I'm interested in. We also get Tennessee's Gameplay which involves shooting as well as his crack shot ability which is the dead eye move from Red Dead, a nice change to the normal Sly Gameplay but gun combat with him is too easy for my liking, especially with that special ability that lets you take down enemies in one shot each which doesn't have much of a limit, kind of breaking combat in general. As for the jobs; not many I can consider memorable. We have Bentley doing recon instead of Sly in this chapter since he's been arrested which is something I do like, the fact that the jobs can affect what characters you can play as in the hubs which is present in a few other chapters as well, but back on the jobs, we get the tapper one where you serve sarsaparilla and sneak past enemies in a bar, it's an alright one, we get to chase the coach as Tennessee to save Carmelita, that one was pretty thrilling I will admit. We also get to play as Carmelita in this chapter, more times then any other in the game so we get some fun action with her in the rescue mission for the gang, a tedious target contest as well as escorting Bentley in the heist which is probably the most we'll ever get of her at all. And as for Toothpick, a villain that's really not threatening and is overall pretty annoying all things consider. Overall a chapter that's not really bad but not really a whole lot for me to find enjoyment out of.
Forty Thieves - This hub world is pretty good, nice visuals, atmosphere and you get to ride a carpet around as all characters across a small part of the hub which is nice(except for Murray though for whatever reason). We get Salim who's whole stick is being cranky which I do like because he's pretty much just desperate to retire, kind of like Sly was after the 3rd game, I just wished they did more with that idea and have him and Sly interact more about that. As for his Gameplay though, he has the ability to ascend or descend vertically on pipes, ropes, ladders and such at high speed which is an amazing ability on it's own but it's pretty pointless to even have that when the costume you get in this exact chapter, the Thief costume gives you the ability to slow down time which creates the exact same effect for when you're climbing yourself, I'd have probably removed the costume's ability in this one just because with it in the game and chapter, Salim's ability feels more like an afterthought. As for jobs; some good ones here that were enjoyable like searching for Salim with the binocuucom's upgrade that Bentley gave it, playing as Salim in his jobs were also enjoyable despite the fact that you can just replace him with Sly now that he can slow time down, though there are some jobs that can drag the experience down like with the one where you're using the turret twice as Murray, piloting the chopper as Bentley which is worse then how it was handled in the previous two games, the heist where you're playing as Carmelita in a QTE involving SIXAXIS again. And as for the villain in this chapter, not irritating as Toothpick but somewhat uninspired and doesn't look or feel like an intimidating threat either. So overall; this chapter has it's issues but a little more to enjoy for me here.
Of Mice And Mechs(originally named Holy Grail Robin) - This chapter I actually enjoyed quite a lot despite a few of the issues here. Hub world is separated into different sections kind of like the previous two games which was fantastic to see again and the atmosphere was spot on too. After doing an decent fetch quest, you get the Archer costume which is a really great costume and how these costumes should all be handled since you still have most of the same moves as normal minus a few and the extra ability to launch arrows to create more tightropes to walk across, you also get special blue arrows that you can just launch at enemies for the fun of it ... just not in this specific chapter though for whatever reason. But yeah, overall an extension to Sly's moveset which is more then can be said for Sir Galleth who has the catapult crash technique that's essentially the hook spring manoeuvre from past games but Galleth's sections, you get a few barriers to crash through and can evidently go higher which is all untrue since Sly can do all that himself with his move, just not in this specific chapter because they decided to nerf it for the sake of making Galleth look special which is really lame to think about. But those issues aside; the jobs themselves are pretty interesting, any section where you play as Sly is great because of the aforementioned Archer costume, Galleth get's his fair share of sections as well and despite what I brought up earlier, I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy his jobs where you're climbing, especially with how timing plays into those instances. You also get more hacking here then in other stages and they're all pretty good (except for Spark Runner which you need the SIXAXIS for again), you get Murray for one job which kind of sucks that we didn't get more of his Gameplay, same goes for Bentley too and they're both pretty great sections that use their respective Gameplay styles well. Oh yeah and Carmelita gets her own against a boss, easily the best Carmelita section in the whole game. And even though Penelope being the villain herself here still doesn't mash up well with her pre-established character in the 3rd game, she's still a better villain then the actual main villain of the game himself which is probably the best thing I can say about her here. But yeah, a lot to enjoy in this chapter for me, was close to being my favourite if not for the issues brought up as well as what my favourite chapter in the game does.
Turning Japanese - Hub world; pretty great atmosphere as well as visuals. You get the samurai costume which feels like a better version of the disguises of the 3rd game since you don't need passwords to get past every guard in the vicinity and you get to withstand flames whilst wearing it and deflect fireballs, so yeah, this costume whilst limiting in moveset is great. As for Rioichi, you get the leaping dragon technique which the chapter makes great use of most of the time in the jobs you play as him in which is also great. As for the jobs themselves; recon is good, rescuing was good too, breaking in to the restaurant and geisha house were both good too(though I could do without the QTE here as well but I'm more lenient on it here since no SIXAXIS), playing as Murray in the fishing caves was also nice for atmosphere (although once again, SIXAXIS), and I especially enjoyed using the RC Car in Bentley's only job here, since the disguise feature adds more depth to it that I can't really complain about. And as for the heist itself; I like that you need to apply significant rotational torque to the machine wheels to achieve maximum velocity to yield positive results just like in the 1st chapter of the 1st game, that was a nice call back to that game. And as for the villain; well whilst he doesn't have a whole lot of personality involved, he felt more serious for me to take a villain then any of the other ones in the game so yeah. Overall a chapter with very little for me to really complain about, at least when compared to the other chapters, hence it being my favourite in the whole game.

Lots of things you brought are things I would also bring up in a ''review'' planned for later, like how certain moves could've been used by Sly alone and just for the sake of ancestors they ignore that fact. Bob's episode could've been replaced by Henriette let's say, yeah I felt Bob could've been scrapped altogether. The ice climbing could've been Sly's thing as he's done it before. The thief costume I also agree. The problem of Sly 4, well one of them is how they utilized the ancestors.

This game should’ve been more ambitious than what it was already was! We should’ve gotten 10 episodes, 10 ancestors but drag out the villain arcs by two episodes each similar to sly 2 band of thieves. Oh what could’ve been don’t you agree Vivi?!!

Okay VIVI really solid list overall. I had a feeling this was going to be long and ambitious since all the other sly cooper ranking episodes weren’t as involving. But this is just so unique in how it handles the ancestors and their different gameplay styles. You could almost do a seperate video for that one it’s own because that’s how much there is to discuss. Each environment definitely felt different and not one being too similar to the other. If a proper 5th gene sequel was made I would love for 5 more ancestors to be tackled, include slytunkahemen who was supposedly dropped from this game apparently right? Overall this game did start the downfall of the sly cooper series in a sense since there was a lot more potential and ambition behind it. But personally I feel as though if another game in the series were to get made learn from the mistakes of this one. PS. I just find it to be a really funny coincidence you put number 5 forty thieves, which is episode 5 funny enough. Lol
A standalone video on ancestors is something I've been thinking about! Like go more in-depth in the capabilities and all that. There's some criticism I left out for this exact reason.

You honestly do bring up a very good with Murray in clan of the cave raccoon. He really felt so different in that game compared to 3 after the whole clockwork incident with Bentley in sly 2. He was trying to go back to the way he was before all that. But you gotta admit it’s pretty funny the way you start that mission and he’s trying to climb the walls and Bentley says “Murray I’m sure you could do it but the problem is we just don’t have time. Get bob over here so we can get started already.” Made for some great comedy. Also a coincidence how he fights the boss of that level am I right? Grizz...
Why did Murray even attempt to climb? Why didn't Sly just use his canes???

When I replayed this recently, I was using my USB controller that doesn't support SixAxis, so I had to swap controllers every time it was required. My dualshocks have bad batteries and worn charging ports

Vivi I am so close to getting the first 3 sly cooper games back on ps2. The PS3 HD trilogy just don’t do anything for me anymore. I mean they’re not bad but feel rushed out and really only used to promote thieves in time. You get what I mean at all?

I really hope one day they make a remastered port of this game and the others for PS4/PS5. If anything, just to fix the load times. The PS5 makes faster load times for some if not most PS4 games, so to have it do the same for this game would be nice.

I Episode 2 was my favorite too. Tennessee brought something new to the table with the option to beat the guards with your cane or have a gun fight with them or sit back and use the trick shot to pluck them off.
You can get a special combo with Tennessee when preformed properly Tennessee will shoot a powerful shot at the enemy which will instantly kill them. Toothpick was a funny boss with him waving a gun around with the safety off. When got into his giant form it reminded me of the incredible hulk, it's a shame he didn't use his gun in his boss fight. Out of all the bosses in this game Toothpick was the only one that died which was pretty dark. The ending to episode 2 is a reference to Back to the Future 3, In the movie the bridge wasn't finished and in Sly 4 the bridge was out.
I think the Cooper gang met an younger version of Tennessee, in the mission when he gets his cane back he said that he used to have two shooting irons and he downgraded to one which is a rifle in the cinematic cutscenes it's a revolver with a wooden handle. In his wanted poster he has a revolver with a golden handle, this is him years later down the line after becoming a legend. His younger self is still trying to make a name for himself by choosing which gun suits him better and slowly gaining outlaw cred and he has toothpick in his mouth. Years later he takes up smoking and grows a mustache and ditches his rifle (revolver) for his signature revolver. The cigars he smokes are expensive which makes sense after all of his robberies he likes to treat himself.
Episdoe 2 is my favorite for the same reason it's your favorite. Sir Galleth is my favorite Ancestor but Tennessee Kid is my favorite to play as (and a close 2nd favorite thx to this game). Gothic and Snow themes are my peanut butter and jelly to my sandwich but the Classic Old West in the desert is just as nice to be in. And like you, I love that crack shot mechanic too. It's pretty much Red Dead Redemption's Dead Eye mechanic that it took inspiration from, and Red Dead Redemption is one of my all time favorite series. This episode, despite its flaws, is pretty much the perfect world to explore in Sly 4. Easily in my top 5 of my all time favorite Sly Cooper maps.
As for least favorite... Probably Ancient Arabia cuz I didn't care for the Ancestor and the frames were not nice in that level. But boy was it beautiful.
And I'm in the same boat. I didn't mind Penelope's betrayal, but it did kind of feel forced to me. Sure we had a factor that she could betray them given her persona as the Black Baron, but there was never any lead up to a betrayal. I feel her betrayal was there out of pure shock value. To catch us off-guard. I don't like things done purely out of shock value.

1. Turning Japanese (Beautiful enviroment and interesting story. El Jefe is such a cool villain)
2. Go West, Young Raccoon (Also a fun episode, but I found the Tennessee cane retrieval mission a bit unnessesarily long until you even get the cane. Why is Bentley even disguised? He wilm be busted either way if he is spotted. Toothpick is a great villain.)
3. 40 Thieves (I love the episode design and soundtrack. It is so calming. You can tell that the story begins to become pretty serious as Le Paradox's plot unfolds. Salim, however is a bit uninteresting at times. Mainly because he did not get much screen time, like the other ancestors. Miss Decibel is a boring villain. So boring, that I rank her my second least-favorite villain of both Sly 4 and the series)
4. Of Mice and Mechs (Interesting enviroment and cool gameplay, especially the one where you destroy the shops as Murray, Sly and Galleth. Speaking of Galleth, I found him pretty hilarious in general. The story is alright for the most part, but the Penelope plot twist kills it for me)
5. Clan of the Cave Raccoon (I just cannot stand this episode in many respects. It is my least favorite episode of both Sly 4 and the series. Why? Because the level is tedious to navigate through and the appearance of dinosaurs in 10.000 BC is completely historically inaccurate. They were long extinct by then. I find The Grizz to be my least-favorite villain of both Sly 4 and the series, because his personality seems so unserious, especially when he all of a sudden mentions just wanting to skate, before the boss fight. Murray even lampshades it. Bob is cool enough though, as is his training mission)

I agree with this list expect for the top. I'd put episode 1 1st cuz the level design and missions were my favorite and cuz of Rioichi. I love Japan and ninjas so this was a joy to me the most.

5. Episode 3 - the characters feel very weird here, and the majority of the missions were forgettable, but the landscape is great, and I LOVE the music here.
4. Episode 5 - great level with great music, and the mechanics are pretty awesome too. Missions are, again, forgettable.
3. Episode 1 - Nothing wrong with it, it's a cool starter to the game. Riochi is awesome.
2. Episode 4 - I'm heavily biased with this episode since it's the most nostalgic one for me. I used to play on it quite a lot back in the summer of 2014, which was some of the best times of my life.
1. Episode 2 - literally everything Vivi said, plus the music is amazing.

Just thought of this but Gta 5 came out in 2013 as well as sly 4. Why hasnt a 6th come out yet? Maybe vecause they were waiting for the ps5 to release and to get to everyone. Maybe thats the same reason for sly 5 not being released yet.
If I had my ranked list from most to least is 1,2,5,4,3. To me the first two were solid for the most part but both the story as well as the ancestors started to become more... the word I'd use is slippery for how my personal cons started to outweigh my pros to this game as a whole. I'd say them all but it's been awhile since I've played the game and would only replay it again if I wanted to 100% it since the Clockwork Eye (which I got last out of the 5 safes) doesn't show the location of the mask collectables as well with the bottles.

Which female villain do you like more out of mz Ruby and contessa? The only two villains in each the fiendish 5 and the klaww gang. Personally for me it’s contessa. She’s awesome I think! I’m usually not a fan of spiders but she makes them look great! I love her hypnosis ability and the fact that she was a secret member of the klaww gang working for Interpol was mind blowing! Not that mz Ruby isn’t cool but he boss rhythm minigame! Ughhhh!!!

This is a hard one to rank since I love almost everything about this game (except for some aspects which could’ve been better) but I did manage to come up with something.
5. Clan of the Cave Raccoon, what really brings this episode down for me is the getting stronger mission I absolutely hated the mini game with the egg as it’s one of the most frustrating segments in the entire game if it weren’t for the fact that it relied so much on motion controls it wouldn’t have been so bad and this episode probably would be higher on the list.
4. Of Mice and Mechs, I actually like this level a lot I’m kind of a sucker for medieval levels and Sir Galeth is one of my favorite ancestors with Yuri Lowenthals over the top performance and the Penelope twist was an interesting one (though I think it could’ve been handled a lot better) and even though I don’t necessarily mind the archery mini game my only issue with it is that THE OWL NEVER SHUTS UP!!!! I had to turn off the sound just so I could get through it, so that’s really the only thing that brings the episode down for me and why I put it at No.4, if it weren’t for the annoying owl this probably would’ve been No.2 on my list
3. Turning Japanese, honestly I thought this episode was just ok there really isn’t too much about it that stands out as memorable though I do love Sly’s jab at Rajan during the El Jefe boss fight. Other then that this episode is just meh
2. 40 Thieves, what I love about this episode is basically the exploration aspect finding secret passageways and hideouts it feels very immersive and there’s just so much to do here, and to be honest I actually found Salim funny with his little quips on the things he didn’t quite understand he’s kind of like the clueless grandfather in a way, and I thought the suit power was cool.
1. Go West Young Raccoon, this was my favorite episode everything from the missions to the boss fight with Toothpick was just so much fun. Tennessee is a blast to play as and i love Sly’s quips in this episode, this is by far the best episode in the game and that’s why it’s No.1 on my list as well.
