My Predator has suffered a dent on the external screen case. I've been advised to hammer it back flat as its causing backlight bleed on my screen. Do you think this will stop the backlight bleed?
It depends whether there is permanent damage to the LCD or not. It's always a good idea to bend back dents, it may crack the LCD from the back if it stays there.

my laptop is PH315-53 and i had back panel replaced by acer cause i damaged the back panel but the acer service center didn't had proper tape so they used some paper thin double table not i have gap between bezzle and the screen and looks very off what thickness of the tape is required for my laptop ?

My laptop is now dead too 🎉 thank you. Have to send it to acer repair to also replace the mainboard. You shoud show how to disconnect battery first.

Yes, probably safer too. It doesn't have to get super hot to let go of the glue.
They should disconnect the battery, if they don't disconnect it they will damage my laptop and burn the chipset, it already happened to me

Try super glue, plastic is usually very good with glue. Else you can try getting a replacement part on eBay.
