Your content IS expanding and becoming more contextually layered and as a Dubliner living in semi-arid San Diego, I love the countryside vlogs, everything green and a huge river running through, gold content! Loved the part of balancing empathy with self-care! From an input standpoint, I would say that when people go to the VIP they still go for the show that everyone else sees, however, as a sensitive man elaborating on your safe space with "The Koel Gang" is a reasonable boundary. Everyone gets entertained by 'Joel', but you have a wise boundary to amplify vulnerability. I might rewatch the chaotic picnic to enjoy the green again! Thank you!

The scenery is amazing. I love the so traditional homes and streets. The history is fascinating. Interesting for me in my family dinner and supper were used interchangeably and were meals after 4 or 5 pm. The other two are breakfast and lunch. Maybe that’s Canadian with a bit of British influence. I also liked that you specified “university” which in Canada is very specific and not college, which is a different level of secondary education unlike the US where everything is “college” and too generic. As far as new equipment, I really do not have a problem with the quality of your videos, I rather have you spend on showing us new and different things in your area, like the family outing you filmed today. BTW, Don't forget, you have 82.5K friends subscribed to your channel. I am not sure what you can do as a benefit to your members. I joined just to support you. However some of the other channels I support have scheduled member live chats, member Zoom chats, which are fun, or special members only content, like if you and Keegan travel to some special area or want our opinion on the bathroom upgrades. So I’ve been watching you for 4?5? Years now. Where does the time go? And I have felt that over the last year or so there was less connection coming through in your videos, but I all relationships change and evolve as time passes. Selfishly I really miss the London vlogs because I really loved wandering about London with you. I’d rather be in London than anywhere else in the world. I quite enjoyed your wander about Leeds the other day, I’ve never been to Leeds so seeing a new place was nice too. I think it all comes down to make content that you’re pleased with, if you don’t like it that will be obvious to everyone.

I agree with some of your other viewers when they say that your life has changed so, yeah, a bit of your content will change to match your life and living style. You can’t apologize for those changes and you sure as heck shouldn’t. You are a real life person, not like a tv program that can alter its scripts to jumble up content as true entertainment. You are entertaining, don’t get me wrong, but I don’t watch strictly for entertainment, I watch to see what’s new in your life and how you and Ava are doing and hoping you are enjoying yourself. I find you to be very down to earth and that’s what I like about your content. It’s down to earth and real, just like you!😊😊
I love my Mini convertible, named Churchill, it's also black with blacked-out windows so it looks like a little Bentley or Charlie Chaplin wearing a bowler hat or a Darth Vader helmet LOL wouldn't give it up for the world and the black paint lets the black trim around the wheels, mirrors etc blend in much more nicely , and with the black convertible top up or down it still draws a lot of attention, where I live there are very few Mini Coopers, especially convertibles. But I am the same, very often still I have to stop my trip at the petrol station and explain what kind of car it is and show them how the top goes down and all of that stuff in a land where 95% of people drive pickups. I didn't buy it to get attention, but because I thought it was cool! I love the retro interior with all the big Chrome circle gauges etc. So many Minis, especially convertibles are red or yellow or some bright colour, but I'm like you I prefer the neat sinister look of all black, and combined with the small size of the car and all of the Chrome it just works :)

I love your content. The variety is what I really enjoy. Love your solo videos and the ones where you are with Keegan. I also like the family videos whether that is with the kids, your parents or even your friends. Yes the London videos are good but I also love to see other areas in England and the UK. You packed in a great day playing at the secret park, Ava being super cute with the ball, the Tayla and Fletch cam was perfectly funny and adarable (truly they both have such great personalities and are good looking, great kids, fantastic voices etc), and plant dad thing, plus a good moan, oh and the countryside and village are SO beautiful. I don't think your videos have changed much other than what it is exactly that you do activity wise. But you are still very active and busy. But that's life, we all go through changes and at different times. So I think some people may not feel that this stage of your life is as relatable to them anymore. But I don't feel that way. And while I'm not in the same stage as you, I still love hearing about your day, your life, your struggles, your joys, and relating in any way I can. Which is quite a bit actually haha I love you and your personality and your positivity and attitude. My discretionary income doesn't allow for me to join all the UA-cam channels I like. But I still like your content. I'm sad that you and Lia have gone separate ways, but I understand that too. I will continue to watch you both. About the equipment, I believe, if you feel it's time for an upgrade, you should do it. As you say, jobs are ever evolving. And even if you content does change right away, having the best equipment is still a good thing, the old stuff will break down eventually with wear and tear. I appreciate you saying you'll share a little more of your vulnerable self. But I didn't see you as changed. Re: being more vulnerable on this public part of the channel I think it makes complete sense that in the last year or so you've "put up walls". Your life has had a massive change, and in all aspects you've been more exposed: living with a partner full-time is different than being on vacation or doing long weekends; moving to an area you've never lived in and needing to establish new relationships with doctors, dentists, barbers, car mechanics, etc let alone making local friends; you've fully embraced being a public person who's gay which can attract more trolls; ending the J&L/TTB channel -- all of that "exposes" you more. It only makes sense that you'd hold back a bit (even if unconsciously) in the only domain where you have complete control. I'm an OG member on this channel and was a "Legend" on J&L and it doesn't bother me at all if you share more here going forward. My support as a member is not transactional, it's because I genuinely enjoy your content and it's my way of thanking you. NGL, I do enjoy a smaller group for Live Chats on the Members section 😊 but it's not the driving reason I joined.

Hey Joel, idk if you'll see this but I absolutely agree with that person saying the conection is a lot more distant. I've felt the same way too! But at the same time you deserve space to feel your feelings in private. And can I just say that the way you've delt with that person's comment is so genuine and humble. It really shows that you care about us and our feedback. You're seriously amazing and it makes me so happy to see good people on the internet

As far as new equipment, I really do not have a problem with the quality of your videos, I rather have you spend on showing us new and different things in your area, like the family outing you filmed today.

I am not sure what you can do as a benefit to your members. I joined just to support you. However some of the other channels I support have scheduled member live chats, member Zoom chats, which are fun, or special members only content, like if you and Keegan travel to some special area or want our opinion on the bathroom upgrades. Just some ideas...
So I’ve been watching you for 4?5? Years now. Where does the time go? And I have felt that over the last year or so there was less connection coming through in your videos, but I all relationships change and evolve as time passes. Selfishly I really miss the London vlogs because I really loved wandering about London with you. I’d rather be in London than anywhere else in the world. I quite enjoyed your wander about Leeds the other day, I’ve never been to Leeds so seeing a new place was nice too. I think it all comes down to make content that you’re pleased with, if you don’t like it that will be obvious to everyone.

I enjoy both, but recently it's mostly been the latter type. As someone on a fixed budget, I cannot join in financially anymore. There is no solution to this, but you asked. Keep being you. Loved the family day adventure. Beautiful area. I love it so much when you are walking and we get to see so much of the Yorkshire countryside. Gorgeous, although I think you better be sober driving a car on those narrow lanes. Joel, I've said it before ....but for me, just sharing your every day life is real and that is what you do. I love to hear about what you are reading, cooking, what's next on the schedule etc., etc. That's what you did in London and what you are doing now, so don't change anything as far as I'm concerned.
Another wonderful video, I enjoy hearing/seeing what you are doing and how your life is going. I’ve been watching your videos since you got Ava and I have enjoyed them all along. I agree with some of your other viewers when they say that your life has changed so, yeah, a bit of your content will change to match your life and living style. You can’t apologize for those changes and you sure as heck shouldn’t. You are a real life person, not like a tv program that can alter its scripts to jumble up content as true entertainment. You are entertaining, don’t get me wrong, but I don’t watch strictly for entertainment, I watch to see what’s new in your life and how you and Ava are doing and hoping you are enjoying yourself. I find you to be very down to earth and that’s what I like about your content. It’s down to earth and real, just like you!😊😊

I love my Mini convertible, named Churchill, it's also black with blacked-out windows so it looks like a little Bentley or Charlie Chaplin wearing a bowler hat or a Darth Vader helmet LOL wouldn't give it up for the world and the black paint lets the black trim around the wheels, mirrors etc blend in much more nicely , and with the black convertible top up or down it still draws a lot of attention, where I live there are very few Mini Coopers, especially convertibles.
But I am the same, very often still I have to stop my trip at the petrol station and explain what kind of car it is and show them how the top goes down and all of that stuff in a land where 95% of people drive pickups.
I didn't buy it to get attention, but because I thought it was cool!
I love the retro interior with all the big Chrome circle gauges etc.
So many Minis, especially convertibles are red or yellow or some bright colour, but I'm like you I prefer the neat sinister look of all black, and combined with the small size of the car and all of the Chrome it just works :)
... occasionally people will also want to race me also when they see the supercharged badge LOL

Growing is what we all strive for and sometimes that means changes we cannot predict. Occasionally, those changes make our lives richer and we should all embrace them.

I love your content. The variety is what I really enjoy. Love your solo videos and the ones where you are with Keegan. I also like the family videos whether that is with the kids, your parents or even your friends. Yes the London videos are good but I also love to see other areas in England and the UK. Trolls will be trolls but Joel needs to be Joel.
Joel, This was such a great video. You packed in a great day playing at the secret park, Ava being super cute with the ball, the Tayla and Fletch cam was perfectly funny and adarable (truly they both have such great personalities and are good looking, great kids, fantastic voices etc), and plant dad thing, plus a good moan, oh and the countryside and village are SO beautiful. I don't think your videos have changed much other than what it is exactly that you do activity wise. But you are still very active and busy. But that's life, we all go through changes and at different times. So I think some people may not feel that this stage of your life is as relatable to them anymore. But I don't feel that way. And while I'm not in the same stage as you, I still love hearing about your day, your life, your struggles, your joys, and relating in any way I can. Which is quite a bit actually haha
I love you and your personality and your positivity and attitude. And your videos are so calming and relaxing and funny. 😊 they really do make my day and I love feeling like I've made a friend.. even though we've never met.. haha (fellow introvert over here 🙋♀️)

It was fun to see you together with Keegan, Taylor and Fletcher. I do miss that you've "moved" some of your content over to "members only". My discretionary income doesn't allow for me to join all the UA-cam channels I like. But I still like your content. I'm sad that you and Lia have gone separate ways, but I understand that too. I will continue to watch you both. About the equipment, I believe, if you feel it's time for an upgrade, you should do it. As you say, jobs are ever evolving. And even if you content does change right away, having the best equipment is still a good thing, the old stuff will break down eventually with wear and tear. I appreciate you saying you'll share a little more of your vulnerable self. But I didn't see you as changed. You're still the same sensitive Joel, the one I started watching, I don't know how many years ago it's been, now. Some content creators don't do separate content but just release to members a day early. That would save on content creation, I suppose. But still I don't know if their popularity matches your. Re: being more vulnerable on this public part of the channel
I think it makes complete sense that in the last year or so you've "put up walls". Your life has had a massive change, and in all aspects you've been more exposed: living with a partner full-time is different than being on vacation or doing long weekends; moving to an area you've never lived in and needing to establish new relationships with doctors, dentists, barbers, car mechanics, etc let alone making local friends; you've fully embraced being a public person who's gay which can attract more trolls; ending the J&L/TTB channel -- all of that "exposes" you more. It only makes sense that you'd hold back a bit (even if unconsciously) in the only domain where you have complete control.
I'm an OG member on this channel and was a "Legend" on J&L and it doesn't bother me at all if you share more here going forward. My support as a member is not transactional, it's because I genuinely enjoy your content and it's my way of thanking you. NGL, I do enjoy a smaller group for Live Chats on the Members section 😊 but it's not the driving reason I joined.
I think I agree with the person that commented about only showing your vulnerability to your members - I think that it can help people deal with life seeing and hearing that someone like you is not as strong minded and together as you seem on your vlogs

Yeah, I mean, I don't join memberships. I pay for Premium YT and I watch every single one of your videos as soon as I can. I watch Keegan's channel and HHH. I was a longtime sub of you and Lia. I feel like a veteran Legend, honestly. When I hear you mention your videos for your members, I'm kind of bummed, but not like, more than a little twinge. Watching someone vlog their life is surreal enough, I would never expect your to change anything and am glad you make a little more money with your memberships.
