These beauties have no idea how spoiled they are. So lucky! So loved! Thank you, Herd, for giving them the best life possible. Elephants are truly the 8th wonder of the world. Giraffes, maybe #9! ❤

The elephants there are so fortunate. I've heard of elephants that have died due to drought in Africa. I can't imagine how they suffered.

Especially horrific when the truth of the matter is that there naturally exists free, safe, limitless energy., (vs. harmful "dirty" controlled electricit) and renewable clean, live PRIMARY water accessible from beneath Earth's mantle. both of which we are deprived of for the immeasurable profit of the few and the control of many. Drought, is intentional and by design.
We are limited to dirty secondary water that is then needs "cleaned" with toxic heavy metals, fluoride, pharnaceutical waste. and other 200+ contaminants. Water, sold in plastic-bottlles, made from Rockefeller petroleum-based, non-biodegradeable plastic, is contaminated with micro-plastics among other added contaminants unless glass-biottled spring water (sourced from primary water). I strongly urge everyone reading this to explore PRIMARY WATER and the book, The Invisible Rainbow, by Arthur Firstenberg.

😂 Remembering Khanyisa's first times in the water with the rest of the herd and how she completely submerged herself. Her joy was contagious.
Now Phabeni seems equally at home in it.
    Long live HERD.

Water....the amazing elixir for life....watching those big, beautiful elephants in the water is a joy.....they love it so much...bouncing and immersing themselves in the water is always amazing. Little Khanyisa healing her wounds with the precious water. What a gift for us all. 🌊🌊 All of them lined up drinking is hypnotic.

Khaynisa 🐘 is such a water baby. Right from the minute she arrived at HERD 🐘. So cute to see those flashbacks. It must be very hard to keep up with the demand of water for this elephant 🐘 family having load share electricity. Living in the United States where we take electricity and water for granted. For Those of you who live in S Africa 🌍 I can see how this effects you greatly. I certainly understand why you want to go solar. I will be donating to this project. I hope I can donate monthly to you at HERD. I will be going out and looking into this today. Have a wonderful day Jabulani HERD 🐘.❤️🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘❤️

Intermittent power outages can threaten that supply, and solar is the best way to secure it for the long term. I will contribute, and I wish you great success with your solar campaign! All my best regards and thanks.

it would be worthwhile you looking at the wind powered windmills Australians used in the outback for so many years. They are a very simple mechanical device that requires little maintenance and will supply water as long as the wind blows. This is also very cost effective as they can pump large volumes of water if needed.

I'm pretty sure that aussiecaptsarcasm was gently pointing out that windmills are a cheaper option. However, as (s)he acknowledges, it requires a fairly consistent wind. Since the homestead is on top of a hill, this might be possible. @@missclaire4820

We often take for granted the importance of basics like water some of us have easy access to. Such a vital and important necessity to have consistent access to and yet you are grateful for what you have when you have it. Thank you for showing us how wonderful it can be for HERD and how important it is for all humans and animals to have consistent access to survive and thrive. solar is the only way for you to ensure that. Blessings will return to you for all you have provided. Much love and best wishes.

As a Native American we respect mother Earth resources. On the Lakota reservation There was demonstrations that became violent against the people including children and horses. The Lakota people were protecting their water from a pipeline being brought in that was going to bring an oil. And yes they did and yes there has been problems with pipes breaking and contaminating the water. Be a water keeper whether it's the ocean a lake or river. My favorite thing to do is to stand in the rain and bless it and thank the creator for the gift of water. There is a Japanese Doctor by the name of Doctor emoto who did wonderful work with water and crystals. Look it up he's no longer with us but his books are still available. It's called messages from the water. Love for all things is how we move forward and make a difference!

We often take our clean water for granted, considering that in Africa there are many countries that still struggle with obtaining clean water to drink. In this day and age, it's unconscionable and unjust. We must do what we can to insure that clean water is made available to every nation in Africa. This must be a priority. And when we have done so, we can then rejoice. Even for our HERD water is so important. For every living thing...

We'll help with water. Life not possible without water and climate threatens water resources everywhere. Any amount would help no doubt. Love this video, so clear, tranquil for elles and hippo and giraffe friends.
