These beauties have no idea how spoiled they are. So lucky! So loved! Thank you, Herd, for giving them the best life possible. Elephants are truly the 8th wonder of the world. Giraffes, maybe #9! ❤
Gosh, every time I watch one of these videos, especially when the herd is together, my breath is just taken away! Elephants are such majestic awesome creatures! I envy you being able to be among them every day! Thank you for taking such great care of them for all of us! 💕

😂 Remembering Khanyisa's first times in the water with the rest of the herd and how she completely submerged herself. Her joy was contagious. Now Phabeni seems equally at home in it. Long live HERD.
Water....the amazing elixir for life....watching those big, beautiful elephants in the water is a joy.....they love it so much...bouncing and immersing themselves in the water is always amazing. Little Khanyisa healing her wounds with the precious water. What a gift for us all. 🌊🌊 All of them lined up drinking is hypnotic.

This beautiful footage highlights how vital a stable water supply is for HERD and for the reserve. Intermittent power outages can threaten that supply, and solar is the best way to secure it for the long term. I will contribute, and I wish you great success with your solar campaign! All my best regards and thanks.
it would be worthwhile you looking at the wind powered windmills Australians used in the outback for so many years. They are a very simple mechanical device that requires little maintenance and will supply water as long as the wind blows. This is also very cost effective as they can pump large volumes of water if needed.
I'm pretty sure that aussiecaptsarcasm was gently pointing out that windmills are a cheaper option. However, as (s)he acknowledges, it requires a fairly consistent wind. Since the homestead is on top of a hill, this might be possible. @@missclaire4820
We often take for granted the importance of basics like water some of us have easy access to. Such a vital and important necessity to have consistent access to and yet you are grateful for what you have when you have it. Thank you for showing us how wonderful it can be for HERD and how important it is for all humans and animals to have consistent access to survive and thrive. solar is the only way for you to ensure that. Blessings will return to you for all you have provided. Much love and best wishes.
Little Khanyisa was such a beautiful baby, and now she's a beautiful big baby 😁 Water is Life. So special to see the other creatures in the video as well. Solar resources for the Herd and the Sanctuary is a great way to ensure everyone's survival in hard and depleted times and take some of the stress out of the care equation. A fantastic project!

We often take our clean water for granted, considering that in Africa there are many countries that still struggle with obtaining clean water to drink.
