  • Our slow, long-term travel lifestyle takes continuous planning. Once we think we have everything set up, something happens to change our plans. But as events outside our control keep shifting, we update our plans to keep us visiting new places. This video is all about how we lay out our year with long-term travel, stay flexible, and keep a balance with our other goals.

Our plans can change quite quickly too. Being flexible is very important when being a traveller :)

Great idea! 1) Don't miss the stunning sight of Iguazu Falls and its spectacular trails. You can stay overnight and even step into Brazil. 2) We enjoyed the 2.5 hour ferry from Buenos Aires to the quaint town of Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay. Have dinner, stay overnight, and then take a 2-hour bus to Montevideo. You can fly or take a direct ferry back. 3) Buenos Aires is called the Paris of South America for a reason. It has amazing architecture, beautiful parks, fine cafes, and fun things to see and do.

Thank you! I really like your idea of taking a ferry to a Colonia del Sacramento instead of going straight to Montevideo.

Can you please share how you did your housing booking. With blue market I am assuming that you didn't use Airbnb. Thanks!
