I was wondering if perhaps you could answer this question: I have a 60 inch round glass dining table with wood trim framing the glass. The table has 4 curved legs. ( Glass insert is removable). Could the table be successfully cut in half to make two smaller half tables? I know that another leg would have to be added to the back of each half for support. Right now the table is too big for my dining room. Thanks!
wow like in a tee shirt with no hard hat, I was running that same style cutter one time and my hard hat got knocked off my head as well as my safety glasses when the sheet broke as it was being pulled down... and i had to punch the piece away so that it wasn't worse than that... sometimes the glass comes with defects you don't even see...
wrong video for sale; in this video you destroy a full piece of glass for nothing; if is work properly keep it for you ;) you can easily make smaller sheets from not a full glass .
1) Why would you do a trim cut. It is a waste of glass. 2) You need some Kevlar arm protectors. 3) This appears to be a belt driven cutter. Not as good as Rack and Pinion since belts stretch over time.
hahahahah, You have to waste full sheet of glass to cut just a small piece?
I was thinking the same thing
Geralmente nesse caso o cliente paga pela chapa, muitas vezes leva só o pedacinho e o dono da empresa revende.
Sheets of glass are incredibly inexpensive.

Hi Mrs Seashore. This machine can cut any shape you wish. You may need tempered glass for a table top. Take care..
Yes as lo,g as your table top is not tempered.
are u working glass
I do the same where's his ppe no wrist guards very dangerous without ppe
good video 📹. But why waste glass.
Do you not wear wrist guards when working on glass and but of a waste cutting that sheet then it all going in the cullet bin :/
how come the glass doesn't break when they drop it like that on that table?
Air under it catches it, it lands flat so no impact
The sheet is none airo-dynamic so it build a cushion of air as it travels. Only time it break is if the sheet is vented/cracked in some way.
Couldn't you have videoed a production batch?! Seems like a crazy waste of glass!
How come the glass slab dosent break when i fell down?
Airdisplacement under the glass, the glass bassicly slows down because of the air under it.
Ive had glass falling down from about 1 meter on the floor without any scratch
@@reneruscheweyh6408 Depends on how it falls, if if fails flat and the air under the glass is slowing it down it will be fine.
I worked in the trade for years.. yea the glass gets recycled but still a waste ..

trim cut is to eliminate the chance of the glass not being square. this practice is quite common
Actually it just ensures any edge defects are removed, if the table is any use it will always cut square.
Belts have steel bands so stretching is
minimal
Let me call osha with video proof of no protection!! Lol
That's crazy man
पूरा तो कांच तोड़ कर फेंक डाला😂😂😂
Wasteman you’re fired.
wenn ich sehe wie der bricht wird mir schlecht
No cuffs, no apron, throwing glass, none existent health & safety.
всё в помойку!

Jaja ... y así se vota una lamina de vidrio por pedazos.
