Chris...Hope you are well....after posting the video 2 years ago? I got my 1st XJ6 25 years ago when I was your age! I have two now (1983 and 1985 XJ6VP). JB WELD is great stuff, but I would suggest using POR15 rust paint which puts a ceramic seal over metal or rust. After curing, I use a fiberglass cloth over my holes painting it with another coat of POR15 which dries rock hard. My last step is putting one or two coats of fiberglass resin. Mine is as I left it 25 yesrs ago! Key is to use the POR to stop the rust! This is not a criticism, but another method! Take care! Great you are a young guy into older Jags!
