    Excellent quick build Jim!. Handy tip about drilling before you cut! Very nice and just in time for summer.

      Just in time for this summer. Had the drum for three years now .... Kept promising the wife ..... Finally got round to it ... Cheers for watching George ! ( Still jealous of your old BBQ find that you cleaned up !! )

    Lot's of good tips here Jim, I needed this 35 years ago when I built mine, I cut the top half off so it filled up with stinking leaves and water over winter, It was hard to lift with the heavy unistrut base 🙄😁 Looks like you are ready for the summer 👍 😊

      Of course. Gotta use square nuts ........ Will get a coat of heat proof black when the paint burns off and it's done , that should last for ten years or so John.
