thank you for the lessons, I use an old drum for parts. especially on the doors just like that. well you saw my video of my smokers cooking them ribs the other day, the build was all based on your videos... thank you!!!!!
Another fine video.Others should take lessons from you on making videos that will keep people watching. Thanks for you fabricating skills.Im gonna make myself a smoker this spring and now I feel a ton more confident. Thanks again.
great job, I amazing a single barrel, but I cut a over sized door out of another barrel and made the opening smaller, theres my over lap, and added strips on the inside, Thanks again
Allen been watching your channel for a while. You are amazing with that cutting torch! I just did a barrel. Try drilling 1/4 holes along the edges and blind weld it from the back of the door. Just fill in the holes. A little more time but not much clean up.
definitely helps cuz i make 55 gal upright smokers and everyone want a old fashion side ways grill and now i know what to do. thanks. do you do upright uds ugly drum smokers? Thanks Allen
Hey Allen Thanks for the video you don't know how much of a help that you are! Tell me though, I have seen you mount lock down clamps in a few of your videos do you have any recommendations as to the best style or brand? Thanks in advance!
Allen have you ever put a lifting option on the tops like a hood assist that's on a car hood I thought about this and I think it would work on opening the heavy ones what do you think ❤️ your new table tops
Hello Allen, I have noticed all your work on the grills you posted on UA-cam and really like your work! I am looking for a nice solid double barrel grill similar to the Dallas Cowboy pit. However, minus the Dallas Cowboys, but that exact pit. I wanted to inquire about your prices, and how I can purchase one from you if possible. Looking forward to hearing from you.
You`re the fuckin man. Love your vids. I'm into smoking and dehydrating different meats. I have a Weber kettle grill. Its nice and all but doesn't have nearly enough space for what I really want to do. I wish I knew how to weld.. I would kill for a barrel smoker with the off set fire box like the type you build. You make it look so easy. Anyway have an awesome fuckin day man!
when you weld, you use gas for the welding machine? english is not my main language so bare with me. i mean shielding/protection gas, like argon or is it just a welder with copperwire?
Why do not you use an extra barrel to make the frame of the door. That way you would have frames of the same shape as the door, decreasing the losses of heat and smoke
I called Home Depot and they didn't actually know what I was talking about when I said a tie-down strap can you give me more information on that if you can I would appreciate it if you could give me a number off of it that may help thank you have a blessed day

Do you use the same galvanized strapping for the smaller doors? (The door on the side to feed the fire)
Usually just the main doors on front
Have you ever thought about using a spot welder for the barrel pits?
Your work is amazing!!!! I was wondering how much?

how to get started with a business with Barrel grills and trying to put them on trailers just asking for your advice
Cut your doors over sized out of other barrels. Then they fit perfectly.
I am curious in the type of welder that you use in your grill builds.
