Bought an used 2019 SEL with 32k miles. Noticed tranny was slipping gears. Dealer replaced torque converter, valve body and new fluid at 38k miles under warranty. It shifts perfectly now. The ride is amazing and quiet, seats are incredibly comfortable. Best Ford SUV in my opinion.

Yep love my 2011 SEL that packs a Port and polished flow tested intake, Magna flow exhaust and 3.7 Duratec running 18 inch tires Plenty of off the line torque making it faster than a regular sport.

Our 2020 Titanium has been going strong. It has right about the same miles. We have not had to have anything replaced under warranty. I've been doing oil changes at 5k and haven't noticed any gas intrusion but I haven't had it tested.

Love this informative review mactfordedge. I check your vids because its very similar to my 2019 fusion se awd 2.0 ecoboost. Luckily I got adaptive cruise control and push button start on a lower end model. I have no issues so far, brakes even fine after 47k miles. I have not run an oil test, because the shop does the changes, but I do smell gas when smelling the oil dipstick. Since I can't change my own I shoot for 5k miles, hoping gas levels aren't extreme....idk

There is a Ford Service Bulletin on that EGR problem warning to not mistake the symptoms for anything internal and more serious.

At 84K on my 2019 2.0 EB, nothing but oil changes every 5K and tires

I am not a big fan of the 2.0 ecoboost although my parents have a ‘16 that has been trouble free so far. 🤞🏻 I absolutely love my gen 2 (‘15 3.5 sel awd) and I believe it is superior to the gen 1.5 due to the improved cargo room and suspension upgrades. I am replacing shocks/struts @ 162,000 miles only because I’m putting new tires on and feel that it’s only a matter of time. however, it still drives like new and there are no visible leaks from the shocks or struts. Everything is tight.

I love my 2017 ford edge 2.0 eco boost titanium has 169,000 miles haven’t had any serious issues just brakes and oil changes, but I am having the water sloshing noise and can’t find the A/C drain hose to see if it’s clogged?

Go to MACT Ford Edge Facebook group. I just posted where it is located and where to find the hose/opening end.

Do you think the naturally aspirated 3.5 is a better engine?

Did I miss an episode where you fixed the auto-stop feature? What did you do? Please.

What am I going to do when the wet belt driving the oil pump in my 2.7 breaks. No oil pressure, no engine bearings. Catastrophe!

The same thing I will do with my 3.5 TT Ecoboost. Install a new engine in the Explorer sport.

@@MACTFordEdge Ain’t gonna happen. I’ll park the piece of 💩 and abandon it. I won’t pour money into it, as much as I like it.
