This video is so good I learned so much. Also I use a diffuser sometimes to give my hair more volume. I will turn my head upside down and diffuse my hair going towards the floor and then flip it back up. The amount of volume I get is crazy!!!

I feel like with my short fine hair I have to do a wash n go every day bc once I sleep on it the curls go flat

@Mania Roxy Wow she must have medium density hair ! I have fine, thin hair, low density hair with 3-4 different textures. I do not have as much hair on my head like her😕 I don’t do wash n go...it’s a wash and no for me. when I used the yarn and rubber band to “stretch” my hair, it came out F L A T🤦🏾♀️

I have fine hair too I use to do a wash n go daily until I started to use a hooded dryer and use silk scrunches to band it up in like 6 sections then use a silk cap when I wake up I take the scrunchies out shake and fluff

I’m 18 in college and I am so self conscious because all the beautiful black girl doing their wash and go’s. Their hair is so beautiful and thick. Then there’s me with like a handful of hair. It’s so curly just thin. My friend literally said to me yesterday. “You don’t have thick hair it’s just long” which made me feel so crappy.
Aww I’m sorry you feel that way. Don’t worry about what people think, your hair is beautiful! Use my tips and don’t use heavy gels for your wash and go.
I have to say the one style I have not been able to achieve is a wash and go. I love Alikay Naturals products esp the creme brulee. I have not tried the gel or twisting butter from Alikay Naturals. I will give your tips a try. I am nervous 😬

Very helpful video! How do you wrap your hair at night?
I either do 3-4 small pineapples with a satin scrunchie or I put my hair in a pineapple using my silk scarf, no scrunchie because it will make a dent.
AmbitionWrites do you have to lightly spritz with water or some other product to get the bounce back each morning?
Luxury Hair House you can if you want but I’ve stopped doing that. I just let it fall or stretch my hair. I have a video on how I stretch my wash n go. When I put water on it it would shrink my hair and it wouldn’t get bigger as days go on

What type of hair yours ?
I have 3c and 4a type hair
How do you stop it shrinking up so much while drying. I let mine dry in a bun otherwise it would shrink 2 my ears. My hairs past waist length now but it shrinks to neck length.
It’s impossible to stop the shrinkage unfortunately. But you can stretch it with heat (which I don’t do) or like you said doing it in a bun. I’ve tried everything and the shrinkage remains 🤦🏾♀️
That’s my same dilemma. My hair is to my waist and when it dries it’s to my ears lol
