- E505 - Something that I still can not believe. I was humbled by Mr Sean from the west coast. he sent me a MASSIVE donation of C= and PC things. more than i could have ever imagined. I did at least pay for the shipping .Yet I still feel unworthy of such a gesture. I promise to be the best custodian I can during the time i have.
Please do not get angry with me for receiving something so nice. IF you know me you know how much i truly care for the Amiga ,both yours and my own.
For 11 years i have fixed and repaired things for free. mainly on my own $ with now the help from a few others via patreon. yet I still do not feel worthy of this. nor any gifts... SO a great thank you Sean and a great thank you to everyone from the bottom of my heart. I hope you enjoy this as much as i do every single day. C.E. - Наука та технологія
It just baffles me that people would get upset that things like this are donated to someone like you Chris. One day they will realize it is just payment for all the long hours and free repairs you have put in!
Ahmen! 👍🏻
Not sure how anyone could get mad at you for accepting donations, particularly given the amount of Amigas you rescue at the expense of your own (and money in many cases). People think I'm a bit mad watching videos of a guy solder old computers, while I'm eating dinner, but the Amiga holds a special place in my heart. Keep up the good work Chris!
Never ceases to amaze me, how much people donate to you, so humbling to see that “virtual” friends give so much so willingly. We all know they could scalp many of us on eBay to get some good money for the items but choose not to. True love there.
Loved that "It's just a fan card - really cool" LOL
You keep the Commodore Amiga Spirit Alive! 👍🏻 Best Man! ✌🏻
Yes thanks to Mr Shaun I look forward to all the videos Dr Chris can entertain us with Amigas are FANTASTIC
Sean hooked a brother up! What a great donation! I have little doubt that you will make some great videos with these items and we will all get to enjoy them. Thank you Sean!
Wow, some cool donations there =O Incredible!!!
Not at all mad at you, Chris, jealous is a word that is closer to the target ;)
The more donations you get, the easier it will be for you to help US!
I really like the sincere humbleness. You stated you don't deserve it. But if anyone deserves it, it's you. Thanks for all your efforts in the Amiga community.
I as well believe in one of the greatest multitasking media machines of its time Chris. Your passionate is enlightening.
Great stuff! No better place to send them than to the Amiga guru.
That was brilliant. Consider my heart warmed!
You have by far the best Amiga channel on youtube, I find myself sitting here with zero jealously. Enjoy :)
That's awesome Chris. You provide a lot of information and entertainment to all of us Amiga fans and you DO deserve the donations and Sean is a wonderful person to find it in his heart to donate these things. I am sure those donations will be well taken care of and will help fuel more awesome videos in the future. That said, thank you BOTH!
You do alot for the Amiga community. You deserve it thanks for sharing.
You love the amiga... but the people are what make it awesome. :) You'll appreciate it all. Really nice.
I think it's amazing that the guy have all of this to you! You are the perfect man to watch over it all! You are entertaining and informative plus you are a good person! I take my hat off to you sir
That's a helluva haul. Sean is a generous fellow indeed and I think you'll be a fine steward for that collection.
Cool, cap rot 😃. That is a big haul for a deserving person.
Great Haul Dr Chris. I’m after one of those Elbox MK1 cases for my A4KD. As we say here in the U.K. “Jammy!”. Long live Dr Chris! Cheers 🍻
I'm not even jealous at what was donated. I find the responsibility of taking care of it daunting!
Like hell, man. Is it a curse? 😊
No one would and should get mad. We love the Amiga, we love seeing your passion and your care of them and whether it be a donation or subscription to your channel we thank you for being humble, informative, honest and funny. Yes you Chris 🖖
Still a lot of very nice people out there, keep up the good work Chris.
Wow, Christmas and your birthday rolled up into one. They came to you because you need to resurrect them, as usual. It's nice to live in Amiga land, where life is fun and games.
Only Dr. Chris makes it possible! Plus, it will be repaired!
I gladly donated what i could for you, when you repaired my VR Amiga 3000.
and as always it is greatly appreciated. your donations come up in a 3000 video soon!
wow! such an amazing donation!! you give so much to the Amiga community and I can't think of anyone that deserves it more
Well deserved!
nah i think if you are going to get mad because you got a donation people need to go to another channel chris. mate the work that you do for other people is amazing and you fully deserve all this stuff
Such a great video and shows there's some good people in this world. Keep up the AMAZING work Chris, thank you for your love of the Amiga!
You deserve any donation you are given, you donate your time and use your own coin to fix machines for free.
No you can never have to many amigas, i have a decent collection but sadly lacking a 3000 and a 4000, one day if i get rich, they are sadly out of my price range.
Keep up the great work, i have learned a lot from your channel and have every single one of my amigas working 100%.
Donation of the century.
What a dope haul man. Good for you dude. Debating to 3D print an Amiga 500 or 1200 and slam a PC or SBC in it for Amiga stuff.
You're pure awesome and deserve our support after giving so much of your time and effort helping others, thanks again for all you've done and continue to do for the Amiga community. 🤘
Damn, you got some nice gifts. My friend would die for an E/Box 4000. I think I have four A1200s in the E/Box, and an A4000 in a Micronik Tower. I also got some great things from a friend from Ireland, an A1200, an A500 and a WarpedVision for my turbo Warp1260 (best turbo for A1200, together with BlizardPPC).
BTW: I live 15 km from Elbox's headquarters, I recently visited them. Greetings from Poland.
I used that GVP HD8+ on my A500. 😊
Hey dare, Sometimes yes sometimes, excellence has to be rewarded, and this is an appropriate example. Maybe you might think there are lots of professional digital electronic experts out there covering that last 4 decades, from then right up until now. Nope, they are dead, retired, or somehow gone. Oh, yeah, keep all the entertaining humor coming, it's so you! The future is exciting and the past is a gold mine.
It couldn't have gone to a better home. I've been working on my Mediator 4000D PPC build and it's pretty weird putting a Voodoo card in an Amiga but it is pure nerd mana. Grats!
Hi Chris, I hope and wish that you may grow very old and provide as many amigas as possible with a new life and of course that you continue to make content. Another very nice, beautiful video. Chris thanks. I hope to continue learning from you for a long time and to be able to watch your videos.
Hi, everyone! First off, love your channel! I'm relatively new to the world of Amiga. I grew up with an Apple //c until I got my first PC in '94. I had friends with C64's and A500's. Never had an Amiga, but always wanted one. The Amiga scene is awesome!!! Looking for an A1200 maybe local in the Portland area to refurbish. Let me know if y'all got one to sell! 😀
Awesome donations! And better to have it end up with you as an Amiga custodian, than any of those just looking to earn some fast cash on eBay. I very recently became a patreon, just because I enjoy seeing you save Amigas, and provide free repairs.
Yeah, it drives me crazy when people will post A2000's with the clearly leaked and never removed battery going A2000 in great condition.
Lucky Duck LOL
Christmas came early this year.
I have that Elbox case with an A1200 in it. I think they called it the mediator case. The riser to add the pci slots are so expensive though.
We all know that all this stuff has gone to a good home Chris so don't lose any sleep over none supportive comments.
Try and pop into more of the Terrible Fire live streams. Nice to see you there.
Keep up the excellent work. 👍🏻
I had a 1200 in a Elbox case back in the day, was fully kitted out with a mediator and so on. We just called them power towers then.
Wait. People get mad you get donations? With all the help you give this community. I dont get that! I am an Amiga fan, since I was a teenager. I currently do not have one but Im always impressed how much you love them and want to keep them going. Ya I dont get that!
There are those that do

I think you highlighted what I'd think of as "PC" cards (Matrox, Soundblaster, etc.). Are there some which are of use for Amigas?
Not agp but some
Pci for the mediator. Coming soon
Amithlon. Was my first thought. To be fair I think that when ever I see old Pc’s or Pc cards.
Where did you get that puzzle box screensaver ?
Its xscreensaver for linux. The actual saver is called lament. Its the hellraiser cube
Where do you keep it all?
In the indianna jones archive
Chris can I buy the A500 from you when you’ve fixed it up?
Do you have any plans with that Power Tower?
its a upcoming video series on its revival
@@ChrisEdwardsRestoration nice, looking forward to see it
Very mad for not sharing one with me! Or at least an A4000D full chipset package for me to put my brand new A4000D mobo together :P
Well, more like jealous than mad... :P
Nice gifts to the right hand
But this A500 HD is by far the most ugly i remember... who decided to put that strange button on top?
i guess the owner,
Not enough Amigas until you get SN 000001.
Funny that you say this, because I think Commodore made a mistake with the serial numbers and there are quite some serial number 1 amiga's here in the Netherlands. They pop up on the local eBay site every now and they, so they are not as special as you would think.
Anyone unloading a Amiga 4000 for cheap let me know.
Please share Mona's phone-number - just in case... 🤣 Just kidding! Share her mail too! 🤣😇
You really deserve this donation! Good, that it found the right one! I just donated my second Amiga 1000 to Matze (the guy who made the BFG9060), and he was really happy!
