Haven't played Lost Ark for 3 months. Regained tremendous amount of respect for myself and I'm enjoying all the free time to play so many different games. Still watch your videos because bald. Good stuff brother.
It's GW2, you can play the whole game with just gold gear. never have to worry about gear grind at all, your char literally stays the same from beginning to end. only thing you got to do is buy the x-pacs and you can choose which one to buy and play since they are all stand-alone campaigns
Gw2 isn't really p2w because unlike say Lost Ark, gold is not the primary source of progression beyond the midgame; plus most progression isn't mandatory to begin with. The monetization scheme is roughly equal to that of crystalline aura or buying a powerpass, and rarely anyone thinks of that is p2w. The vertical progression gear is so shallow (1 gear set for 10 years) means that you can do virtually any content day one without having to swipe more to win or keep up, if you ever did. I think having to swipe to keep up with the general populace because the game developers are deliberately keeping the newest high end stuff just slightly out of reach is a good definition of p2w. Granted you don't have to swipe in Lost Ark either, but it requires you to devote a lot of time if you don't. That being said,, a lot of the QoL features are very overpriced in Gw2, so they do a lot of making problems to sell them. Their inventory system is very bad; you start with very little splace, item stacks are small-- they stack only to 250 when the game's developed to need thousands of them while the game just showers you with junks from dozens of different content. You know at least Lost Ark has increased stack sizes and let you deposit items in their own storage. Also extra build and equipment templates are super expensive. (Granted skill setup slots are crazy expensive in Lost ark too-- 200 crystals for one?). Finally, there are skins that are only available via loot boxes which can be ignored, but I gotta call them out on that That being said, regardless of semantics, most of the above can be ignored, so I think Gw2 does fit the initial criteria of the video of being high up there for poor players (without having to spend a ton of time)
Classic WoW is extremely p2w nowdays if you care about parsing because of gdkp runs where you can buy full bis (used to not be like that till middle of wrath classic). Retail WoW is not really p2w if you don't care about top 5 mythic raiding. Lost ark is less p2w than classic wow ironically

It literally is though, I think the only thing I spent money on in 2 years was damn reskin tickets, and I was able to enjoy current content (not hard modes on release since akkan, but I mean that's literally fine) However even though it is doable, I am not saying the game is perfectly fine, they 100% need to make progression and raids easier.

After watching this idc how p2w (p2progress) Lost Ark is. How can people stand playing such shitty looking games such as most of the games shown here? Lost Ark feels good to play (the combat) and looks good in comparison to most of the games that I saw in this video.

Lost Ark ONLY if you play 1 or 2 months out of the year ONLY when they drop makoko pass then quit again.
