Purchased the CSL Load Cell pedal but they were too stiff for my liking so I added a spring that I got from my TLCM pedal. Its a simple and cheap/free mod because I already had the spare spring.

All these UA-cam videos are great and interesting. The one thing they don’t do is inform you what their products are like to live with over a period of time.
If you wish to have a happy and content life please take my advise and look at the FANATEC’s own Forum in regards to all the issues they have and their terrible customer service.
I have one word to the question should you purchase FANATEC products? DONT.
I would have had the same amount of problems with a real race car..
On a lighter note Im very grateful FANATEC do not build motor vehicles
I use a fanatec with multiple wheels and have never had an issue. I’ve been on the forums and i wouldn’t expect anything less from forums. Misery loves company but if you can tell me of another product that has DD that can compare to fanatecs podium on the ps5 I’ll gladly listen. I’d get a simcube if I didn’t need an external hub to connect. I’m sure their support sucks but my wife and I just went through a nightmare with lowes customer support and I work for a company that is also having issues. Nobody wants to work and fanatec blew up because of gt7 and the dd pro as well as the csl dd, both being affordable. All this during probably the worst time in our countries history. If people would go to work instead of leeching off of those who actually contribute to society, we might be better off. I for one am happy I do not own a business of any kind which depends on employees. Most businesses have a huge backlog and nobody to fulfill it. Fanatec is just one of a countless number. Not defending them in a sense that how they handle it is right. I’m saying that god forbid something in your daily driver goes. Getting parts for anything right now is a complete nightmare. Plus I can go on those forums and see the same ten people in multiple threads making it look way worse than what it is. Forums have been this way since they were created. Btw, I love my simcube on my pc but prefer the ps5 if I play gt7. Good luck to you and hopefully nothing else goes wrong with an appliance or your car. We are finding out the hard way that we have devolved as a species.
Bro you are steering way way too much. The only time i ever get close to turning my wheel 180 degrees is for hairpins. You know that gross vibrating feeling you’re getting in turns? That’s understeer and past that you are scrubbing the wheels and losing speed, that’s the only reason you are making some of these turns. Go into the turns slower. Slow in fast out. You can feel when you are at optimal grip with the dd pro.
Thanks bro, I have to work on that. I feel as if I am not racing when I go too slow into turns but that's where my problem is indeed.

Cool, let me know how you like it. Careful when you are taking it off and replacing with the spring because they are some small washers that fall out.
I did the same thing to my CSL pedals took the red spring from my thurstmaster TCLM and put them on the CSL pedals works good ur the first vid I've seen on this. how did u hard mount ur CSL to ur plate just the 2 holes?
Just the two holes,works ok.I just purchased some shock rubber bushings from Autozone and will try that out to see if it's better,will post video either tonight or tomorrow. Thanks
@@GsimRacing I did the red spring a bit different I put it on bottom feels good. Shock bushings sounds like a good idea..I subbed n will be watching thanks ✌✌
I have been trying to find springs that fit and does not cost a ton. The load cell does loosen up decently from the stiffness right out of the box, but I would prefer there to be some initial movement with light force in the pedal to help with trail braking into the corners. Especially in F1 games, where I use understeery steups so I rely on trail braking to turn the car.
But with a quick search I did not find a place to buy the spring set separately. Do you happen to know where to get started with that?
Sorry my friend, I see TLCM replacement springs online but may be best to just get the CSL mod because of the prices. I used the spare from my old one. I think the T300 may use the same size spring but not sure.
Get die springs( can be found on Amazon) the dimensions are outer diameter :20, length: 25mm
Those will fit perfectly, get blue(leightload) or red springs(medium load)
Now that I have been using the CSL pedals for a few weeks I think I may consider getting the V3s, not sure how big of a difference it would make but I am curious.
did you get them? One guy was sending the v3s back because he didn't like the peddles, I asked him why are you using socks on the pedals 🤦♂ (he didn't use shoes like wrestling or proper racing shoes)? Just hold onto the pedals just in case for some other reasons.

@@samuellp1146 thank you, I try but still not fast enough. I will get the handbrake but to try drifting.The Rally games are hard but I enjoyed the last two on GT7.
Wondering if I can get the spring without paddle? F-gt really un comfortable for long periods playing
I think it's on ebay but you might be better off getting the CSL brake mod based on the price.

Just ordered the LC pedal -- and 3DRap spring mods -- but wanted to comment on the placement of your ButtKicker Gamer2 on your F-GT rig! That's a great idea putting it by the pedals! I'm going to try that tonight!!!
