They could stop players from feeding if they stopped shoe horning more and more heroes to an endlessly growing pool of heroes instead of revamping the game all together. i can't remember the last 10 heroes they put out...
"seasons" last 2 months and no resets are ever employed to keep the upper escalation players keeping their top 500 players in the top 500 without even having to grind through the terrible experience of playing with lower ranked players to earn their rank.
a gm can literally stay afk and lose all of their placement matches...and still be placed among the top tier players who care about playing the game seriously enough to play with other players who work hard enough to earn their rank...
....but nooo....
...gawd forbid top tier players having to work through the dreggs to earn place among the best....
there should be absolutely ZERO reason for there not to be a hard reset on mmr for everyone every season....it makes the concept of "seasons" ridiculously devoid of all reason to "start a new season"

This is a big W. Raw and straight from Jake.
There's a sense that not long ago things like the teabag clip or the fact that his footage isn't on 4K native with all settings on ultra settings could risk this content being considered a marketing liability.
It does also seem like they recorded this before the live patch. Venture does 30 damage with Quick Melee and 40 over time now.

The changes aren’t too major, he only mentioned the melee, which now does 30 impact damage and 40 over time instead of the other way around

while you're burrowing, you can also see enemies health bars without having to damage them first, kinda like when widow's ultimate reveals enemies health bars along side their locations.
Tectonic shocks timer goes down slower when they are underground. Something to add to that last point jake made!

To play venture you have to truly understand how venture would play themselves. So what you need to do is take a generously sized piece of granite and start chewing.

I think it would be nice to have those "How to Play" Videos for every new hero going forward. Just getting some general tips and tricks is nice when you want to learn the new hero.
Venture is without a doubt my new main. I've always thought the DPS lacked something and having such a dynamic playstyle is exactly what.

This was actually too good. Far better than earlier streamer collabs. Hire Jake for this stuff imo. Let him cook for reworks etc too. In fact, make an official tutorial playlist just like this one for every hero and game modes etc...

Thank you for making this video! Although I use all of the things mentioned here, I see people in my team playing venture and my eyes and brain hurt so much 💀💀. Her kit is really simple but effective once you have a basic understanding of your abilities' limits and thats when you truly shine

1:50 - Tracer's recall has actually been stealth buffed to give her invulnerability during recall instead of being a vulnerability now.
I've noticed with landing sleeps and shots on Tracer's as they recall gives the hit but deals no damage or applies the cc anymore and just allows Tracer to recall freely.
I hope they do more like this for new hero's in the future and even the old ones for new players

This is great I hope you get other knowledgeable creators (or just Jake lol) to do these videos.
One small thing not mentioned. If you end your burrow coming out of a high ground you skip the emergence animation and can surprise enemies pretty well

amazing work jake. I'd recommend some very basic gameplay pointers and hints for new players for general and also specific roles like this video. most tanks have no idea what a tank's or dps's responsibilities are so everytime team loses, everyone's like "heals" in lower ranks.
