In this part 2 of 3 series video, Dr. Berg talks further about magnesium and calcium. Magnesium is involved in relaxation whereas calcium is involved with contraction, cellular signaling and cellular reproduction and goes beyond just making bone.
When you have low magnesium, you are going to have high in calcium and when you have high in calcium, you are going to have magnesium deficiency. But when you are low in magnesium, you will have low in potassium because they work together, and low potassium causes low magnesium. Insulin resistance causes low in magnesium, high in calcium and low in potassium.
You have 10,000x concentrated calcium outside the cell than inside the cell. In order for the calcium to get transported, you must have what is called voltage-gated calcium channel, it is an opening of the cell that allows the calcium to go in and out. Calcium is also needed to produce insulin in the pancreas. Too much calcium inside the cell could develop a condition called intracellular hypercalcinosis.
Other issues from too much calcium inside the cell:
    • High blood pressure
    • Anxiety / bipolar
    • Migraines
    • Myofascial trigger points
    • Inflammation
    • Diabetes
    • Neurodegeneration
    • Degenerative Joint Disease

I find this fascinating, as a farmer about 10 years ago I found out about the Albrecht system of soil nutrition, its main point is calcium magnesium balancing based on the cation exchange capacity of the soil. Optimum seems to be around 68% calcium to 12% mg. I wonder is it the same for humans? Anyways we have solved alot of animal health problems by spreading mg sulphate on the soil. That means its in the plants that our animals eat and is more efficient than supplements.

AWESOME information! My 24-year old daughter is on two types of high blood pressure medicine which I think is a direct result of a whole buttload of vaccinations that she had to take, all at one time to become a paramedic, so I'm working to correct that naturally! Myself, however, at 64 + years don't take any medications whatsoever! I love your natural approach and explanations to solving our health issues! Keep up the great work!

Wow, this explains a lot. I started healthy Keto and my asthma and migraines went away. Now it appears to me I had high calcium and was magnesium deficient. I regularly eat greens and cruciferous veggies and red meats and butter. I also take epsom salt baths. I feel so much better. I also had myofascial trigger points and would occasionally take a muscle relaxer when things got too painful. All that is G O N E! Thanks for helping me jump off the poison train and get back to eating how we were meant to. It’s been 15 months. I feel great. Am I perfect? No but I’m definitely not going back to that horrible eating lifestyle. That junk doesn’t even appeal to me anymore

WOW! What an informative video! By the way, I was just becoming aware over the past week about the effect of gigahertz electromagnetic waves on, precisely, the voltage gated calcium channels. I had always been an EMF skeptic, but new evidence has switched me around. There's been a lot more research than I was aware of on EMF on our biology, a lot of statistical evidence as well as mechanism of action research. Strong waves, as suffered when we keep our cell phones against the body (against the head when talking or in a pocket when not in use), cause temporary openings and closings of nearby cells' calcium channels, and calcium gets to leak into the cells. What I took away from all I read is a) keep the phone off, or in airplane mode, at night, or when not expecting need of it; b) carry the phone in a briefcase or bag; never against the body; c) put it in speakerphone mode when talking, always; never hold it against the ear; and d) supplement with nicotinamide riboside to increase NAD and mitigate the damage.

All the toxins from the mold and the candida occupied the kidneys 24/7 so they dont have time to filter the minerals properly, so u get wacked levels of everything. I had the symptoms for 20 years and when took cholestyramine for one month all of the symptoms disappeared. Cholestyramine is a prescription medication but activated charcoal will also work but it will take longer. • @kimberlyv1661

I was taking a calcium channel blocker but it made me feel worse, too tired. I've had low potassium and vit D deficiency (verified) so I'm almost 100% sure I've had low magnesium along with that. I felt heaviness and tingling in my blood and tissues for a long time. I've always felt the tingling was due to too much calcium in my blood. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis at age 45 but no-one could tell me why or how long I've had it. My dr at the time (an endo) tried bisphosphonates but I couldn't tolerate it orally. I stopped going to that endo because she kept putting me on 3-4 month follow-up visits having done nothing to help me and listing menopause as her main diagnosis on my chart. I'm 51 now and during an emergency room visit 3 months ago, they found portal vein thrombosis. I had taken omega 3s and vit K7 a few times before that but not consistently. I think it was doing what it was supposed to do but because of years of calcium build up and low vit D with low magnesium, my blood was getting stuck in my veins as the calcium was being pulled out of the tissues and cells. Why? In my opinion, because I didn't have enough magnesium to help convert and raise my vitD which are synergistic and necessary to get the calcium into the bones where it's supposed to go. Not once has anyone checked my magnesium levels even with the low potassium, vitamin D deficiency and osteoporosis being blatantly noticeable yet my calcium levels were always on the high side of normal except for one time. That should've been a red flag. I've also had a history of kidney stones and constipation. More proof of too much calcium in the blood. It's a shame we have to be our own detectives and do our own research and investigating to figure out what's wrong unless you're fortunate to find a great doctor. I really want to go to medical school just to change the thinking and how things are done.
