I only really knew Limmy from the bits he did on "Screen Wipe". This interview and finding out there is "Limmys Show" is right comedy treasure find. cheers
This is one of the best RHLSTPs ever. Limmy is genuinely funny and keeps on coming out with comedy all the way through and everyone is laughing. It isn't just an interview with the odd funny bit here and there. Richard is awesome too as he lets Limmy do his thing and when he does interject it is to riff with him and produces even more funny ideas. Brilliant.
Limmys autobiography is brilliant. Just finished listening to it on Spotify. He talks mostly about his experiences going through life feeling just fundamentally defective and out of place, which is probably a feeling most people have in common but few people are honest enough to share with anyone.
Love Limmy’s accent. It’s not just an accent, it’s more like a dialect. Because I’m really into this sort of thing I watched a YT video where a linguist explained all about the Glaswegian dialect, and he actually used Limmy’s Show as his example.
I know a lot of the Scottish Limmy fans here are criticising Rich, and there seems to be this idea going round that it is the English population in general that has a problem with Limmy, but it really is the scumbags at the BBC who are stupid enough not to realise the insane amount of talent he has. I only got introduced to him toward the end of last year and in no time at all he has become my favourite TV comedian of this decade, he was introduced to me by another English guy who thought I might like him, he couldn't have been more correct. Rich is telling the truth about the BBC here, and if you see this comment BBC, you are borderline insane for not giving Limmy his own show, if you dare give one more penny to Mrs Browns f*in Boys over Limmy then you absolutely deserve to have the license fee taken away altogether, no question.

Scottish people's identity revolves around genuinely hating the English. It makes them happy taking the victim stance and moaning about inclusion despite being like 7% of the population. Same way northerners have a victim complex and prejudice against southerners. It's quite real.
