    Keep in mind folks he is comparing a 556 can to a 762 can. The huxwrx is impressive in the fact it can be used for nearly all your calibers, is full auto rated, has like 0 blowback and you can use any muzzle brake! I cannot wait to get mine.

    • @Stickyshoez
      @Stickyshoez 5 місяців тому +7

      The Velos is also full auto rated, has no noticeable blowback and is actually good at sound suppression. I've shot both. The Velos is better and now SilencerCo has a 7.62 version.

      They both are great cans. You can't go wrong with either one. I cert my ventum just a little over a week ago. My last can got approved at 4 1/2 months. I'm waiting on a AB Raptor 8 also. That can was cert on 12/06/23...Great video

    Nice, I have both of these cans in jail waiting for approval right now. Huxwrx will be getting an ASR adapter and my 5.56 and 30 cal cans will mostly run ASR. They sound the same to me, but I almost never shoot indoors. I think everything sounds awful in an indoor range.

      Titanium core with stainless tube is just stupid; it should be the opposite if anything.
      The core has to resist the most abrasion under high temp, and titanium is a terrible material for that.

    Great comparison. Can definitely see you squinting due to gas a bit more with the Velos compared to the Ventum, but the Ventum is 30 cal vs 5.56. Both look like great choices.

      @@claterpillar1Two entirely different things. You're describing flash which is from unburnt powder. Sparking is from titanium particles of the can combusting, and Ti cans will always spark because titanium is technically microeroding. A gun may have low flash, but high sparking

    The side by side comparison along with your input is really useful. Both are great cans. I'm still unsure how well titanium holds up over the long run but the manufacturers clearly have a lot of confidence in titanium for hard usage.

      The beauty is the core is removable. You can just replace the core when it wears out

    • @FDCNC
      @FDCNC 6 місяців тому

      @@7gerez The suppressor will function as a suppressor for 10k rounds if its not cleaned. After that period, its like a barrel extension. Just soak it in CLR for probably a few days and shoot out the gunk and it will be similar to new. The suppressor will only break if you throw it on a belt fed machinegun or mag after mag of full auto.

    Based 416 enjoyer. Does your 416 use Brownells clone parts? Whoever cerakoted it and such for you did a fantastic job assuming those aren't HK parts.
    I'm gonna buy my first suppressor soon and I think I'm just gonna get an RC2 for my first one. If I have the coin maybe I'll get an RC3 since I use the pronged flash hiders anyway and those make it have zero flash. Unfortunately you can't use the warcomps/muzzle brakes with the RC3--well, you can but it flashes some.

    I’d buy the Velos over the Ventum but only if I’m trying to keep the mounting options available. Given this, I’ve already bought two HUXWRX cans (5.56 QD & 7.62 flow ti) so I’m OK using their proprietary mount system as the cans are small and work really well. I’ve never seen the sparkler effect out of my 5.56 can but I hear that can go away once the can is covered in carbon. Not sure if this is true but I don’t see this during day time shooting at all.
