Cheers mate, architecture yes, costs no. So many variables to the cost like location, covid, timing, materials etc, I didnt want to mislead people

Hey up pal, thanks. 100% film everything before it starts that was my mistake but I diidint have a channel then so wasn't as switched on.
My builders from round my way mate but he doesn't want any acknowledgement or work from this. He is happy doing his thing haha
Great job, currently doing a garage renovation myself and looking to put in a 4 meter bifold which requires a 4.5 meter beam above. where did you get your door from if you don’t mind me asking

Awesome project and love the vaulted ceiling. How long did the first extension take? I am getting ready to start a substantial one story in about a month.

It took about 14-16 weeks with mainly 1 builder and Christmas in between mate. Hope this helps and good luck

Good point well made mate, I should have covered that area TBH. We clad it the same but used off cuts as we had a lot left over from the extension and nobody sees that part of the wall (if that makes any sense mate).
Looking at getting a similar size extension - underfloor heating sounds. Any reason you chose water rather than electric? Thanks
Hi pal thanks its awesome having a house extension but a lot of work. I looked into it and felt it was better. TBH I would go back and use radiators pal. Under floor soudns great but a lot of negatives that dont suit us i.e. time to warm up, time to cool down if too hot, cost, flooring
@@koifishjohnny thanks some good pointers. I’ve put air con upstairs so just deciding which is best - might stick with the rads 👍🏻

That waste pipe idea is awful. No amount of soundproofing will stop the sound. Plus, you get a leak and the place is ruined
