Would be illegal in the UK due to working at height regs - you would need scaffolding in the basement with boarding to bring up to floor level or fill it with inflatable fall cushions. Too much tape.
Just got diagnosed with covid-19 so I'm on quarantined and found your videos thank goodness You're amazing and your videos are so enjoyable thank you ❤️
I know the I joists are cheaper but I have gone to only using floor trusses. I am tired of plumbers, hvac and electricians ignoring the hole drilling charts :)
Love the real time & POV !! Love watching your videos you accomplished an amazing amount of work in a short time !!! . 🙋♀️❤️🥰 Aww loved hearing the Canadian Geese !!
Glad to see you back! Man, they put track houses so close together in Canada! I like how the code for the municipalities think that drywall will stop the spread of fire from house to house. They require that in the city of Chicago too. There is no way that if all of that wood and shingles went up in flames that the fire department could get there in time to stop the spread of fire with the houses so close together. Stay safe. Go Hawks!
Приветствую Товарищ!(rus) I haven't visited your Crazy Framer channel for a long time, so I'm glad that you have a lot of videos that I would love to watch! I
Reminds me of New Jersey with the blocking and straps. Interestingly, I’ve never had a house “blow away”, even the ones framed back in the 70’s before all the government regulations.
I had a random thought the otherday , I ain’t seen your videos for ages haha I was thinking maybe the bell notification wasn’t turned on because it’s happened in the past , then there it is , crazy framer notification haha 👌
Looks like Edmonton missed summer? Love watching Larry Hauns video’s amazing what a guy can do by himself! Packing these things in tighter every time, going have to walk around the block to get to the back yard😳.
It’s like this every where nowadays, you’re lucky to fit a wheelbarrow down the side of the house and if you have a water tank down the side then that completely blocks all access haha crazy isn’t it
Jumping on the I-joists feels a bit risky, especially if you don't remember which ones are connected or not yet ;) But nice to be back, I missed couple of your last season, I only remember then one that was very cold =)
I’m hoping to buy a new build in McConachie next year, would be awesome if you ended up building it. Would be especially awesome if I could get back on the tools!

Ha ha, I think I know who you are talking about. If it's the same guy, I was saying the same thing when he was wondering how he was going to stand that long wall! I almost pointed him towards CF's wall jack segments.
The Crazy Framer that’s good to hear! Editing itself is a full time job, I can relate with the too much to do, too little time. Glad you’re back and going at it! Did a read a new series, “Building a House REALLY FAST”? 😳
That was if I could get Joel and Greg and all the best framers around here to do this easy house I’m building this week. If the borders were open I’d ask you to help. It’s not that cold here in August.

This is my favorite channel by far on UA-cam!

Can’t believe how close these houses are.
Dude you have balls of steel walking these joists.
