    Mostly I forgot some words when I am talking with someone and I’m so shy even to talk some foreigners when I met because I’m not sure that when I start to talk my grammar is not correct. I am a Philippines and majority of Filipinos in Thailand already bullying me because of my pronunciation I exactly good to teach inside the class with very clear voice however sometimes I’m out of confidence of what my fellow Filipino teachers put me down that o am not good in pronunciation. Thank you Ma’am and I try my self to learn more especially in pronunciation. God bless

    Hello. I have a question about Adele's song. In the lyrics of her song "Easy on me", says "In these waters" Water is an uncountable noun. Why does it become plural?

    • @Speakconfidentenglish
      @Speakconfidentenglish  Рік тому

      Interesting question. You're right. Water is an uncountable noun and in daily communication we don't use "waters."
      But in literature - for example, in poetry or in song lyrics - we might use 'waters' to signify water from a major storm or flood waters. You'll also hear 'troubled waters' in this way sometimes.
