I'm actually impressed he made it that far on those regular all seasons.
Bad tread is worse than any all season; Ive seen tons on this channel alone learn that the hard way.
I even know personally LOL
I agree with you, everyone shitting on the guy, but look at what the real truck had to drive-through just to reach him. Somehow he made it through all of that.
"But my Cherokee is trail rated. There's no way I can get stuck. Especially with these mall crawler tires."
I was about to say, that ain’t a Jeep! Lol
Stellantis, Fancy FIAT.
And probably no lockers. At least it was and open dif 4x4. They come in a front wheel drive. I will never own a 4x4 without lockers again.
Marketing suckered another one
This is why you don't take cars 4wheelin , that car that's stuck is made for soccer moms to drive on damp roads!
I am impressed he made it that far on car tires.
First thing i thought of too when I saw him stuck there
It was dry when he when out, he stated that the rain made the mud that stopped him
I'm impressed he made it this far in life.
He said "A monsoon came out of no where" lol
You can almost hear her thinking " well bless your ❤ " as they say...😅
florida 4x4 is so much different than anywhere else, those clear cut mud patches are crazy.
Im hooked. Think Ive watched every video on your page since I saw the first one haha. Who knew my fav teenage past time could be turned into a job as well as profitable content creator
Love the videos! Hoping that you will leave more of the trail ride in or out in the video, that's almost as much fun as the rescue itself
We bought 2 new GoPros so we can add them to the videos
Most of our videos are recorded on a broke. iPhone
Good stuff guys. The engine note on the recovery truck is music to my ears. Although as cool as good as my old early series Land Rover with a rare 1600cc Rolls Royce petrol engine! And bless the forest folks for putting in the quagmire side cretur fence. Will put them up in the UK to stop great crested newts from straying into danger and getting squished. I once found a pair living in a Magners cider tin.
Well, I watched one of your videos 6 days ago so I came to your channel, started with the oldest one and now I have watched them all up to date! I have subscribed. It gets MUDDY down there in Florida!!.
I love how you have your recovery jeep setup
finely got you on UA-cam.. Looking forward to seeing the differences in you're new winches.. Thanks for the vids... Jeff F
He did a really good job to get a car with street tires back that far.
I was dry when they drove in, then it started raining (that's what the drive says).
I believe him, when I sold real estate it was not uncommon for buyers to follow the process from clearing to completion! And I can tell you from experience that Florida ground will lure you way back in the sticks dry ( except sugar sand ) and then be completely impassable when wet! I drove a full time 4x4 Durango with BFG km2 ats and unless it was deep and soupy I was fine! I also know how to wheel and this was a 2004 Durango without all the Nannie’s that the new ones have that lock you from turning off traction control without it coming back on when you don’t want it! I also had a winch and a rule, if I didn’t have anything to winch from I wasn’t attempting something where I knew I might need the winch!
Those lights makes sense because of all the traffic you know. 😂😂😂😂😂
Love the channel, can’t believe what people think their vehicles can do lol. Glad they keep doing it, more work for you!
You would be surprised. We had somebody in our group with a Trail Hawk at Rausch Creek, PA. We all were in a bunch of Power Wagons, Gladiator, LJ and XJ. The Trail Hawk lifted a lot of wheel, but followed us through some seriously rocky terrain. Eventually, one of the tires was the failure point on a shaley uphill on the climb out. But, gave me some respect. Not all Cherokees are equipped the same though.
I watch a lot of these off road recovery videos on UA-cam and it makes me shake my head in bewilderment where the brains of most of these halfwits are that get stuck. This video is the perfect example.
Halfwit is only partly to blame, it's the advertising industry bigging up a mall crawler, to the feckwits who believe what bullshite they read, rather than doing a bit of research. Just found this channel, we have the same clueless clown's here in the UK, only difference is, here due to cheapness, they think what is effectively a racing slick, Will spin it's way out, if you apply enough gas haha
I swear I saw a video of a guy off-roading a camro
I really enjoy your show it’s entertaining and educational thanks for doing so many episodes and for the stuff about rigging and honest reviews of products and product safety ! I would like to know more about ur jeep especially why you can drive through these mud patches that no one else can, I realize driving skills and experience is probably half of it but what about ur tires, lift gearing etc ? Thanks !
user-ue5ef9cz9662, he has said in other videos that he upgraded the jeep for these recoveries
We have close to 10k in the drive train alone we are putting together a video of the build but we stay so busy I’m way behind on the videos
Yes, you had to make some mods to your rig BUT put a throttle happy "driver" behind the wheel and it's still gonna get stuck. You still gotta know how to use the equipment properly......eh that would be a cool video.....in your "spare" time lol
First off love your knowledge. Second love your setup. Got me to subscribe!!!
Nice work as always, wheeling in Colorado I've never had a chance to drive in mud like you show in your videos. It's a totally different world, very cool.
South Alabama and Georgia is even worse! That red clay dries on your frame like concrete and is slick as bull snot to drive on.
yes it is, in the army i got a deuce and a half stuck on a flat spot on wet red clay one time@@RealJeep
Yep totally different and would require much different recovery tools and different builds and different tires
@@RealJeepFlorida has bad clay also from Ocala north we have red Clay you can get in trouble with, and from Tampa to Ocala we have blue and grey clay. In forty years of driving four wheel drive vehicles I was stuck once in blue clay for eleven hours before they could get to me.
Well, it wasn’t “really” a stuck Jeep…it is a Jeep…but it’s not a Jeep😂
can you give a rundown on your Jeep set up I E axle ratio tire size you still running the Rubicon axles ? tuner ? We really enjoy your videos I did rescue and recovery for many years too thanks
“What was he thinking?” should be the name for this channel. Every video I’ve watched has elicited the same question from me. I have a Land Rover and an FJ60 and there is nothing down any of these “trails” I’d bother with visiting.
Good thing you activated your emergency lights with all that traffic going by.
Honestly if your doing recovery work your supposed to have them on weither there's 100 people around you or your buy yourself way out in east bum f**K.
love his "off-road" tires 🤣
New to your channel, enjoying these videos immensely. I have a 2019 Cherokee Latitude Plus and a old Cummins dually both 4x4 and live down in Citrus County, and I’m telling ya, I’m even afraid to go in my backyard with my big dually to get my utility trailer because I might get stuck with the highway tires I have on it. So yeah what the hell are these guys thinking…or smoking 😂or drinking 😎 or both 🤔. Anyway keep em coming Matt👍
Almost 49K subs, time to step up your game 😉 I'm in Bartow this week, maybe I'll go out and get stuck at River Ranch.
I'll bet it is very wet out there right now. My favorite place to go.
Watching these videos seems quite therapeutic!😁
I’m impressed it made it as far as it did.
Thats crayzy, he must be a very confident fellow,
Awesome videos!!!
Love your videos
How does that thing get around so well? It barely slips a tire. Fun videos to watch!
Like the light bar
I don't think anything more than "It's a Jeep" crossed his mind 😂
Now this is snowrunner/mudrunner/spintires irl!
LOL, love the street tires on that grocery getter! lol
Man, you can't go down in there on those tires, Dude: Hold my Beer.
I bought a pair of those recovering hooks, now for the first time seeing someone using it!!!
Worked in central Africa for 30 yrs. That road practically looks paved
That's a bad ass jeep.
It's like a tank.
That looks like a really fun trail to drive
You ROCK!
Can we get an overview video on your truck, options you ordered it with and mods . Obviously you have a great performer of a rig
What exhaust system mods do you have on the JT?
Love the remote free spool.
Me too
im impressed the car didn't rip apart when you tugged on any part of it.
what version and specs for your jeep pull rig?
Just ran across your channel. I love it! Sometime maybe you could show your rigging up close , like to see the fundamentals behind it Thanks
We can implement that into them
That new winch is doing the job
That’s pretty good to make it that far, with that Jeep, and those tires.
Great video
Baby's first four wheel drive goes a muddin. What were they thinking.
What kind and what color lights on your light bar please?
Love your videos dude. Waiting on your build video!
Trying to put it together but work won’t stop long enough
wow did it make it far before it stopped!
I thought he came in the other way 😂
FUDGE I HAVE SEEN TRAILS BUT THIS...... RESPECT GUYS.SHALOM
What is the name of the strap used to hook the vehicle?
"What was he thinking" I think he was thinking he would have some fun....and it looks like he did case closed.
Is that the pentastar 3.6 in your gladiator? What ever exhaust you have on it sounds really good. I normally dont like the sound of a v6, but yours sounds really good. I have one of those 3.6 and a 4.2 i6 id be interested in putting that muffler on you have.
The Flowmaster extreme cat back system
(Rock crawler) one
What lightbar is that and where did u get it???
We've had above average rain in Florida this winter.
I know a lot of people hate on your windshield thing, and honestly I usually do to because they are street queens. With what you do with your rig, that shit makes your truck look so tough! I absolutely love it haha!
Lololol....I'm not even gonna ask what the driver was thinking BUT did anyone notice how easy the grocery getter came out because Matt wasnt spinning the tires with the throttle pinned? Spinning the tires gets you stuck EVERY time!! Another great job guys 🤙
Have you ever watched a mud bog video or been to a mud bog? The only chance you have is romping through with as much tire speed and it can get lol
@@oneounceslugAPEX yes. I've been to them and have done that sorta stuff BUT......when yer boggin, yet typically doin it with other people which means help/winches. Furthermore, yer either testing the limits of yer low budget rig or you have a properly set up rig for such fun. These morons on the other hand feel they need to mash the go pedal in a vehicle that is at least 70% street 30% off road but hey....dont mind me,just watch the video....the proof is right there. Stay safe and if yer feelin the need to rev your engine in a mud big with yer street vehicle call Matt....he'll getcha out
@@hitekredneck109 yer sensitive lol.
@@oneounceslugAPEX lol....how so? You get triggered or somethin?
We are also in Florida what areas are you working around ? great videos keep them up
By any chance you have a video on the build of that jeep and all your equipment. Y'all do some wicked recoveries.
We are putting one together
@@OffRoadRecoveryLLC awesome
Not every jeep is created equal
The rains been helpin you
Like some have commented here already “ It’s a JEEP , and it’s Trail Rated “. We once found a family of 5 ( with a small baby strapped inside) trying to navigate a Gnarly bad trail up the worst section of an old mining road the WRONG WAY that most people go just because one slip or wrong move sends you over the 300-400 foot cliff side , and this GUY driving said straight up “ We are low on fuel and I googled quickest / shortest route to nearest gas station & it showed this was it, besides WE have a Jeep. We gave him some gas & turned his Stupid ass around before he caused serious injury or death to himself or his family . Be real people , and stay outta these scenarios.
The guy at the dealership told him “ with this jeep you can go anywhere “ and he believed it
Lol..that's not a Jeep! That's a "Cheep"! Are those street radials?? I love people!
That "mmmhmm". Looking at what you drove in through honestly, he managed to find the worst damn mud pit in the whole place.
👇It's so sad how the woods are disappearing all because of these stupid Developers
I lived in Florida from 1969 to 2015 when I couldn't stand it anymore and bailed. Florida has been lost to greedy developers and people who don't give a rip about the real Florida.
@@RealJeep 😤😥
Looks like my driveway during spring thaw
Rain has a way of changing off road conditions rather quickly..
Old kings area , headed towards jax ranch club?
Mall crawler out there LOL
i love that rear winch bumper...do they happen to make those for the JKU?
Must be mounted in the spare tire hole. with a welded cross member. and a remote control Warn.
Man I wish my Comanche looked this tough.
If that 3.6 gives up like mine did he can’t say it wasn’t a good one… he’s pretty mean to that jeep and it just keeps coming back for more..
What kind of tires do you run on your Jeep seems like that thing will go through anything
What size engine in that Gladiator?
You must be from Macclenny, Fl😁
how do you have your winches wiredin and what amp alternator are you running
400amp high output alternator
And we are doing a winch install video now
If I can get enough time to finish it that is
Didnt the front have a tow hook insert?
The trail is interstate 10, 20, 30, 40 etc!
Do a video on what you got done to your Jeep
My guess is the companies he called don't have a truck made for that. That is very soft water soaked land there.
I ran a class C wrecker in central Florida for a few years. There was not and probably still isn't an "Off road wrecker service" in central Florida. One reason, it's paved over from coast to coast.
That looks to be the makings of a highway.. I can’t believe anyone would
put Moms Soccer wagon in that spot!!!
Glad you got those lights going with all that traffic around you
Well we were in traffic going onto the place
And then it’s a development app technically trespassing the lights let them know we are not the average joe out playing
And can prevent them coming out all pissy
@@OffRoadRecoveryLLC love your videos and thank you for what you do helping people just messing with you about the lights I know you have to have them on and thanks for taking the time to read the comments
Jeep pulls "jeep"😂
Looks like he's pulling away quickly. Hope you got paid! 🎉
What area of Fla are you in/service?
What tires are you running?
Located in North Florida, but they will drive if you're stuck in the Florida/S. Georgia area.
Tires are 40" Mickey Thompson Baja Pros xs
Great recovery, lesson learned not all jeeps are created equal. Keep that jeep out the mud and keep it on pavement lol. Lesson learned
Where are yalls offices?
Oh that kind of jeep 😂
Hey Matt !! Yepper,, Those "NEW" Jeeps aren't made to be pulled by the front for sure & Surly NOT ""OFF ROAD " capable either no matter what the advertising shows or states !! 🤔🙄👍👍👍👍👍
Some people don't "think", they just Nike...
You must do all the off-roading for every mall crawling HEEP out there that’s never seen a mud puddle.
If Stellantis isn’t paying you yet they should be.
"I was doing fine until it rained, that's what did it." Couldn't have been the street tires at all lol
I am surprised they got that far in.
