After Catalunya, my family and I travelled to Toprak and Kenan's training ground in Akyazı. These guys are crazy and even train at weekends. Why didn't you ask Toprak if you could train with them on their pitch, I'm sure he'll help you a lot. This guys are humble. He even allowed us to take photos during training, which is not usual! Love your videos keep it up 👌

These vlogs are great, appreciate you doing them even in hard times. I know that must be tough. I can't imagine being in a public facing job that success or failure is defined by a tenth of a second. Even good people such as yourself struggle on occasion. You're an amazing rider and you have a good team around you. One good race and you're right back in it. And resist the advice to try and do something just because Toprak does it, you just need to be the best Garrett and that will be plenty good.

Sorry to hear about the team folding up shop at the end of the season. Best of luck finding another ride, whether it's in WSBK or elsewhere. TBH, the MotoAmerica superbike field is getting pretty deep. There are at least 8 riders that are podium contenders. Sadly CamB got injured again and his title hopes for this year are likely done but the BMW's are going well. SDK came out of the gate very fast. Maybe he'll need a teammate next year....

At the top level, miniscule changes make huge differences! you gotta be able to feel your bike and understand where its lacking..you have a succeeding bike now in your team, I surely hope you are at least watching Topraks full lap videos after free practices, you'll pick up the differences immediately..

GG,I'm sure you have looked at all the numbers, my only observation is last season you constantly had top speed in the traps as compared to the other BMW's, this season it is the opposite in the race now and limited in the practices! Unless you have forgotten how to make the straights long to carry the extra rpm its full length, I'd question how power is being delivered given tire degradation and limited traps. You're still a damn fast Woodlandnite! Regards...

I really wonder if the BMW suits you at all. I know you wouldn't be able to admit it until post contract, but some riders really just don't gel with the M1KRR for whatever reason. How Toprak does it, I have no idea, he's not human. Honestly Garrett, like someone else suggested, go train with Toprak at his place with Kenan, I bet they would love to have you.
Bmw bikes are not that good. Definitely behind the Ducati, probably little bit behind Yamaha and Kawasaki. Gardner, Lowes, Locatelli can challenge for the top. Ducati guys always fighting for the win. Bmw guys always struggling especially with the tires. In Superpole race Toprak's tires are done after just 3 laps he dropped all the way to 10 place. In addition Toprak talked about the engine break in Catalunya; he said in first place engine break is too soft after the adjustment it was too hard. Maybe this effect Gerloff to. I hope Gerloff will find his rythem so we can see him fighting for the top.

Toprak uses harder compound tires in long races. It depends on your driving style and strategy.
That guy is a different story, believe me. I like GG but Toprak is the only BMW rider who can fight the Ducati's.
