Yeah, saw that and felt bad for you. Reminds me when a mate returned my race bike in a bucket after a huge crash. No one felt as bad as he did, but I told him I'd not let him ride it if I thought he was not up to it (way more talented than me). So sometimes it's a shit sandwich and its lunchtime. But no one was hurt and that is all that matters. Roll on Most!

Well shit happens in racing and though it sucks you can put this behind you for you took the blame when it wasn't all your fault. Alot of riders will always blame someone else but you will be more respected by your peers, when you accept blame. You will be fine because of your huge heart.

Everybody experiences the speed differently. That is racing. I appreciate that you felt bad and also how generous Loris was towards you. I am sorry he got bumped. I think Scott should have gotten bumped and his prospects are pretty good elsewhere.

I would not worry about the collision. If you are going to be that far off the pace you have to make it obvious. From an ex WERA racer you beat like a drum probably 10-15 years ago.

Anyways, I have an unusual question as a beginner/novice track rider; what brand/product do you use for your hearing protection? I'm using those dumb orange foam ones but they don't like staying in and I am looking for a better solution. Any tips would be appreciated. Be well friend and good luck!
